The Beginning of a Dream

The Beginning of a Dream
Reffan Angry

Safira landed her foot on the opposite escalator and quickly grabbed the body of the girl who was crying almost unconscious. Safira grabbed him to his chest holding him down against the escalator quickly.

The mother who was still holding her other child was crying following Safira's quick feet coming out of the mall. Because carrying the child on her chest, the side of the hijab she tucked in sagged displaying her beautiful face. The child he hugged tightly saw Sapphira's face.

"Sweet sister.." The boy muttered, but Safira could still hear him. Safira glanced at her smilingly then tucked back her hijab. Near the security guard Sapphira sat the child. Her mother hugged her two children while crying.

Safira turned around and left soon. But my mother hugged him immediately.

"Thank you." His words are still crying.

"Sama-sama Ma'am. Sorry I have to leave immediately." Safira took off her hug and immediately walked away.

"May God always take care of you.." Mother muttered softly looking at Safira's back away. Then she hugged her son back.

Sapphira walked away from the lobby mall, someone immediately put a shirt on her body. Safira pulled the veil that covered her face. Reffan pulled Safira's shoulders in his arms and then walked along the street and into a cafe.

.

Now they were sitting opposite a table between them. One looked down occasionally stealing the chance to glance at the man in front of her but when her husband's sharp gaze pierced her net, she looked down again.

"Sorry to you." Safira ventured to open her mouth.

"I don't accept your apology." Reffan replied with an unchanging net. Sharp and focused looking at Safira.

When he saw Safira jumping over the escalator barrier, Reffan felt his heart almost jump. The leaflet on his chest was no longer irregular, how could he bring his son to jump over the barrier even Safira was still wearing a skirt.

"Mas, sorry don't be mad." Safira sulked but Reffan did not even flinch at all. "Pity you, the child was detached from his mother."

"You can tell me after we get off the escalator, not by jumping Safira."

"The child is invisible, the situation needs to be helped immediately." Sapphira touched her husband's hand but Reffan kept it away.

A man approached Reffan.

"Good day, Mr. Reffan. The car is in front." The man bent over giving up the key.

"What's going on there?" Reffan said without looking at the man next to him. His net still kept an eye on Safira.

"A gas cylinder explosion from a restaurant. It's gone, it looks like the people who saw the smoke are panicking." The man answered Reffan's question.

Reffan handed over the car keys used before. From what Safira saw, Reffan told the man to take the car in the mall and Reffan would drive the car carried by the man.

Without a word, Reffan pulled Sapphira's arm pulling her in his footsteps. After being near the car parked in front of the cafe, Reffan opened the door and gently pushed Safira's body.

The car went into the hospital.

"What are we going to the hospital for?" Sapphira could not hold her lips that had been silent to ask.

"Check my son's condition." Reffan answered flatly.

Safira gawked but could do nothing but follow in her husband's footsteps.

"Please Mr. Reffan and mother. Can I help you?" The female doctor who yesterday examined Safira smiled kindly.

"Please check my son's condition doc. Her mom just outbound." Reffan glanced at Sapphira whose face was flushed in embarrassment.

"Outbond what about sir?" The doctor asked with a serious face.

"Yes that's the doc, jumping across the transverse aral, carrying heavy loads. That's how it is." Reffan spoke with a flat expression.

"Let's mom, let's take a look at the state of the grandpa." The doctor standing from his seat directed Sapphira to undergo an examination.

"His blood pressure is slightly up 130/80. It's still tolerable." Then the doctor moved the ultrasound device in Sapphira's stomach by slightly pressing it. "Good condition sir ma'am."

Reffan smiled staring at the small circle on the screen. Likewise with Sapphira, her chest felt gently rustling creating a million flavors. Happy, happy, and I don't know.

.

Reffan remained silent during the return trip, although his feelings were now relieved but still left a disappointment to Safira who acted recklessly. Is not Sapphira should now be more careful because now there is a baby in her stomach. When it was going to pray at the hospital mosque even Reffan just holding the hand of Sapphira without saying a word.

The car has entered Papa Rendra's yard. After the car is parked, Reffan goes out first letting Safira walk behind him.

Mama Raisa welcomed their arrival with a big smile. But then his smile vanished when he saw Reffan who had a cold face with only a short-sleeved shirt while Safira instead wore a Reffan shirt.

"Reffan what's up? Why Safira..." Mama Raisa was confused by the sight before her.

"Gak papa ma, please tell your daughter-in-law if she still likes to jump around casually it is better not to go anywhere. I'll lock him up at home." Reffan passed away then climbed the stairs and entered the room.

"What's wrong?" Mama Raisa turned to ask Safira.

"Gak papa ma, ma sorry for a moment Safira following the Reffan mas first." Sapphira clasped Raisa's mother's hand.

"He's been following your husband, don't let the problem drag on." Mama Raisa rubbed Sapphira's back gently.

.

Slowly opened Reffan's room. Her husband is sitting on the couch with his cell phone in his hand. Sapphira approached sitting on the floor in front of her husband.

"What are you doing? Wake Safira!" Reffan was surprised that Sapphira was standing before him.

Safira shook her head, "I'm sorry. Don't be angry again!"

"Wake Safira!" Reffan forcibly pulled Safira's arm, sitting on the sofa.

Reffan takes a deep breath then throws it rough.

"Now that you have not brought yourself a Sapphira, there is our child in you. When you're hurt it'll hurt me too and if anything happens to you both it'll destroy me." Reffan's index raised Safira's chin, making a beautiful face that had looked down at her with teary eyes.

"I'm sorry mas. I really didn't mean to hurt myself, let alone our son. At that time I imagined myself if there was in the position of the mother who must have been very hurt because she could not reach her two children at once. And the girl must have been terrified and in pain her tiny body was swaying people around her. I'm sorry if I rashly decided to save the girl earlier. I just hope that if one day my hands won't reach my son, my body won't be able to protect him. Wherever my son is may God send his creature's hand to guard and protect him." There was a sudden tightness filling Safira's chest as she said so.

Reffan's outstretched hand removed a drop of clear liquid that escaped from the corner of Sapphira's eye. Reffan kissed his wife's forehead, their two noses met making Sapphira again shed tears.

"Then you tell me what you're going to do, you can't go alone. If I need to, I'll handcuff your hand."

Safira smiled as she saw Reffan clasping tightly to both of her wrists. But two seconds later her smile was gone as her hands were clad to her husband's neck and Reffan pushed his back to land on the sofa.

"Yes..."

"Shut up! I wanted to say hello to my son, he said he missed his father on the screen."

Sapphira was dumbfounded but only for a moment because Reffan immediately attacked with his lips in his favorite spot.

.

Mama Raisa closed the room plan Reffan that was not closed tightly by Safira. He was worried that Sapphira was facing the anger of Reffan. But now his lips are smiling. In his hand was a mobile phone featuring amateur videos titled Ninja Hijab Saving Girls.
