Safira's fingers were tightly coiled on Reffan's arms as they passed through the red carpet. Sapphira continued to try to smile despite finding some people staring at her sharply, there were also some women who smiled cynically. Sapphira looked at her husband's face, her husband looked back at her with affection and a handsome smile. And sure enough Sapphira like getting positive energy that strengthens him, Safira again smiled sincerely looking forward and once circulated the gaze to the invitations standing near the red carpet.
Sapphira's smile grew perfectly when she saw a familiar figure in front of the towering wedding tart. A man waved his hand then gave his thumbs up towards Sapphira. Sapphira's change was captured by Reffan, the grip on his slackened arm making Reffan notice Safira's face whose smile was perfectly fluffy. Reffan looked at the man waving to his wife.
"Who is he?" He murmured in his heart. "The invitees are my guests and my mother's guests. Oh yeah, Safira said there's one friend coming. What a man it is. Ah, I think her friend is a girl!" Reffan frowned at himself with his thoughts.
The man's smile affected Reffan's mind. He saw again the face of Safira who was also looking at him. Safira smilingly looked at him gently rubbing his arms. The burden that he had seen before entering the reception seemed to disappear, now Safira's face looked calmer.
"Is it because of that man? Why Sapphira could immediately change to look at the man. Who the hell is he?" Reffan was busy thinking to himself.
"Mas, thank you." Safira who was sitting beside him made him turn his head.
"Thank you for what?" Reffan smiled looking at the happy hue on his wife's face.
"Thank you for letting my friend come. I'm glad there's one person I know on this show."
"Yes dear." Reffan rubbed his wife's hand gently with his free hand.
"So since there are people you know among your invitees so happy, you feel like no stranger to the show. Ah, it turns out Safira just feels that way. Why am I thinking about all this. Besides, there's no way Safira, ah I'm too far prejudiced." Reffan cursed himself in the heart.
The party is festive. The invitations then congratulated. Some sincerely pray and some just shake hands with a hostile face.
"Dec, congratulations. May you always be happy. It's so good to see you now. You're great Safira, always amazing." The man with slightly narrowed eyes gave a speech to Sapphira.
"Thank you bang. Alone bang?" Safira replied with a genuine smile.
"Yes, madam is pregnant with Ethan." The man answered lightly without burden.
"Congratulations bro, may you always be happy." The man patted Reffan's arm intimately.
"Thanks bro." -." Reffan replied casually.
Reffan glanced at Safira's face which was still smiling perfectly. There was a curiosity in his heart. "Didn't Safira call a male co-worker by the name of sir. Then why was the man called brother and the man called Sapphira. Ah, isn't this unnatural. But there's no way I'm asking you now." The voice of Reffan.
Now Sapphira and Reffan have come down from the guarantee. They were sitting in front of a round table enjoying some food and drinks.
"Ah Reffan, I don't want to congratulate you guys, I just thank you for inviting me to enjoy the banquet." Claudia confidently wagged the hair that was made to wavy almost about Safira's face.
"I didn't invite you. Maybe the mama who invited you or even actually your parents who invited and you came along." Reffan spoke casually rubbing his wife's cheek gently, his gaze not shifting from the beautiful face of the wife.
"Until when the hell do you realize Reffan, this woman will only make you ashamed. Especially his appearance..." Claudia cut off her words, her disdainful gaze leading from toe to head of Sapphira."
"What's up with Claudia Safira? What do you mean this auntie-like appearance is embarrassing?" Mama Raisa suddenly appears with aunt Andin mama Claudia.
"Tante, how can it be?" Claudia was flabbergasted to see the appearance of Raisa's mother wearing a hijab, it was fitting that since Claudia had not found Raisa's mother because her appearance changed greatly with her clothes covered. Claudia arrived late with her papa mama, when the bride's parents had gone down first.
Today is the first time Raisa's mom has covered her hair. His first son's wedding reception established him to seal off his entire aura. Reffan and Sapphira smiled at the arrival of Raisa's mother.
"Artists only hijrah, cooking aunt. Auntie doesn't want to be out of date Claudia. Thank you dear, you are the most beautiful gift not only to Reffan but also to us." mama Raisa looked at Safira's face affectionately.
"Mama is so pretty." Reffan praised his mother while hugging her.
Before long papa Rendra appeared along with om Candra papa Claudia.
"It's a shame that Rendra, our son is not a match. You see my daughter, she's perfect." Om Candra still spoke as if there were not many ears hearing it. Claudia smiled hearing the praise from her papa.
Papa Rendra smiled chimed in, "You know for yourself how I fought for Raisa, then how could I not let Reffan choose his own companion." Papa Rendra's words silenced Candra's mouth.
Sapphira lowered her head, Reffan grabbed her hand and then kissed her fingers. Safira looked at him smiling. They both drift alone with the world they do not care about the herd that comes close.
Two pairs of eyes watched everything that happened from the next table. One squeezed his hand and the other clenched his hand. Raffi and Hasna, both of whom held back emotions in Claudia's family. When he sees Reffan and Sapphira who do not care about the conversation of his parents, Raffi and Hasna believe everything remains fine.
Claudia who was irritated by her presence was not considered by Reffan was about to pull the hijab of Safira but soon canceled it because she saw Bayu playing scissors in her hands from across the table while looking at her sharply as if saying, "Didn't you promise not to bother Sapphira, you want to be bald or go to jail?" that's what Claudia translates from Bayu's gaze. Claudia reflex touched her beautiful hair, she retreated and went away.
A tough day for Safira, Safira realizes this party is not her class. Some memories of cynical views were still stored in his brain, but he hurriedly covered it with smiles and sincere remarks of good people who appreciated him. We will never get everyone to like us. It always will be, we can only keep walking on the right path. Safira smiled at herself. His daydream in the hotel room made him unconscious, Reffan who had finished bathing kept looking at him who was smiling to himself.
Reffan walked slowly towards Sapphira who was sitting on the sofa.
"What makes you smile? Who did you call brother and call you deck?"
