The Beginning of a Dream

The Beginning of a Dream
Pebbles

Reffan drove Sapphira home. There is a driver behind the wheel. Sapphira would definitely refuse if only alone with Reffan.

Safira was about to close the gate when Reffan got out of his car.

"Tomorrow morning I pick you up, I take you to the office. Your car's still in the office." Reffan's flat voice distracts Safira who is about to lock the fence of her house.

"No need sir, I can order the vehicle on line." said Safira.

"You refuse a car with me and even want to be alone with the driver of the car on line hem?" Reffan's voice has risen.

Sapphira was surprised by Reffan's reaction to being unable to speak.

"I'll pick you up. Don't you dare go first." Reffan had already stepped foot into his black car.

Safira did not agree or refuse. Because he knows whatever Reffan has said does not want to be denied again. "Congratulations Sapphira, that man was your future husband. Enjoy it." Sapphira laughed in her heart.

While in a hotel room, a blonde girl throws all her belongings that are in her reach. He vented his frustration at whatever he was holding. Anger, defeat, jealousy mixed into one within his chest.

"How could he choose such an unfashionable girl. What Reffan saw from him. Judging from any side I was clearly superior, normal men would not be able to blink when they saw me. And you're Reffan, how can you say only tasteful to that village girl. Ahhhh." The screams of the girl filled the room that only she was there.

Claudia Maharani's. She was definitely not the only girl trying to pull Reffan into her arms. But Claudia, may be the only girl who never gives up on getting Reffan's attention. Claudia is not an uneducated girl, even she is a class adek of Reffan while studying S2 in England. The difference was that Claudia had just taken her S1. Claudia is the son of papa friend Rendra they had met during the Wedding Anniversary of Reffan's parents and since then Claudia fell in love with Reffan, ah not falling in love again, but, the girl was already obsessed with Reffan's cold demeanor.

Reffan and Claudia were once close while in England. Reffan only appreciates how much Claudia is the son of her papa friend, while Claudia considers Reffan to be a man who is interested in her. But gradually, Reffan avoided it because of Claudia's promiscuity which was too free according to Reffan. Despite living abroad, Reffan still tried not to go beyond the limits. Her mother's face was always imagined, especially Raisa's mother who always contacted Reffan almost every day. Reffan loved his mother very much and did not want to be a boy who disappointed his mother.

"I'm following you to Surabaya. But you proposed to another girl that night. And your words have insulted me terribly, Reffan. I won't lose to that girl. Look Safira, you'll regret having dreamed of becoming Reffan's wife Satriya Bagaskara." The girl slumped on the soft mattress with her stomach position, then her breath that was panting slowly returned to order with her eyes closed.

"Claudia is here?" Mama Raisa was surprised when she drank the warm milk in her hand, the cup filled with milk was put back on the table.

"Hem." Answer Reffan briefly.

"Right now, Reffan and mama Raisa are having breakfast by the hotel's pool.

"That kid. Why so tacky anyway. Chasing men to the point of not caring about their veins." Raisa's mom hasn't been too fond of Claudia who looks flirtatious and aggressive near Reffan.

Reffan did not deny finishing spending warm chocolate in his cup.

"Ma, Reffan left first." Reffan approached his mother kissing the cheek of his beloved.

"Where are you? It's still too early, right?"

"Pick up and take Safira to his office. The car's still in the office."

"He knew you would pick him up. How will Safira leave?"

"He would not dare to go. Reffan threatened him yesterday. Hahaha..." Reffan laughed happily.

"Duh, what a pity for Safira..." Mama Raisa laughs with Reffan.

Reffan was in front of Safira's house. And sure enough after confirming the car that Reffan came, Safira was seen out of his house and locked the door and fence.

"Good morning Safira. Today must be so beautiful because it starts with looking at your face."

"Wa'alaikumsalam." Sapphira answered a greeting that Reffan did not say

"Assalamu'alaikum Sapphira." Reffan said his greetings correctly.

"Wa'alaikumsalam." Safira Reply.

"Safira, mama asked you to do pre-wedding treatment at the hotel, he said so you're more relaxed and..." The words of Reffan have been cut Sapphira.

"Thank you. But sorry there's no need for sir."

"Why? you can come after work. This is for you later..." Sapphira cuts again the word Reffan.

"I'm going to my Muslim salon sir. I'll just go there." Sapphira's face was already flushed, Safira spoke without looking at Reffan, she preferred to throw her gaze out the window. "Stop discussing pre-wedding care sir. Why are you not ashamed to say it." Safira muttered in his heart.

"All right then. Make sure you come to him. I'll also be happy if you're in care." Reffan was already smiling mischievously holding back the laughter peeking at Safira's face which must have been an adorable hue.

Safira did not chim in anymore. Only his heart was upset.

Arriving in front of the lobby. "Thank you." Sapphira immediately came out without looking at Reffan.

Reffan was immediately shocked when the car door was closed by Safira. "Ah, what a pleasure to tease you Safira. Your upset face is so adorable."

Safira had already stepped foot quickly down the lobby and headed straight for his study. "May no one else piss me off today." His prayer in the heart.

But apparently. There are still men who won't let go this morning.

"Saffira."

"Pak Bagas."

"Sorry sir, I have to enter the room."

"So because of this you chose that man."

"I'm sorry, I have to go in the room now." Safira did not want to engage in any more talks with Bagas.

"You're amazing Safira. That's hypocritical!"

Safira stopped his steps. His hands clenched hearing someone say hypocritical. Isn't that so outrageous. Sapphira turned her body to face Bagas, to hear the words that would ignite the heat in her chest.

"You act like you're a good girl. The beautiful veiled woman. But look, you've been ushered in by a fancy morning car. Because that's why you chose it. Since the man is rich, you like to approach rich men like him."

For whatever sake. Safira had already strongly refrained from swinging her hand to the face of the man in front of her.

"Why keep quiet, can't defend yourself because everything I say is true. How much does he offer you, hem?"

Now Safira no longer wanted to slap the man in front of her. He was already thinking of punching her with clenched hands that were starting to lift.

"I'm sorry if I hurt you Mr. Bagas. Thank you for all your words. A pot of milk is not possible to remove the water. Thank you so much for knowing how dirty your heart is from the words you put out earlier." Safira said it with quivering lips holding back the anger from her hot chest. His legs were swiftly moved away from the man who had already burned his chest. Last night Claudia, this morning Bagas. "Why are there stumbling pebbles?" Sapphira suppressed the heat that began to spread in her eyes.

Bagas. He thought he would be relieved after talking about Safira, he was very angry to see Safira coming ushered in the shiny black luxury car. In fact, now he was the one who was hit, Safira likened it to a comberan water.
