Bagas who was going to walk into the miniature apartment heard everything, he was with Ira and then turned to see Safira who was approached by Fairuz sir from behind.
Sapphira was still sculpting, squeezing her bag strap even stronger. His net was heating up, a rumble of anger was already boiling in his chest. It was very desirable for him to break the miniature cover glass in front of him. His throat even ached to swallow his own saliva.
"I'm really looking forward to you Safira. Think carefully about what you'll get." Fairuz took a step back and left Sapphira.
Now Sapphira's breath was so fast, oxygen was forced into her nose as much as possible so that her body would not fall to the floor.
"Astaghfirullah hal adzim. Astaghfirullah. Astaghfirullah..." His lips muttered Istighfar as much.
"Saffira." Ira was surprised to see Safira's pale face. His hand immediately grabbed Safira's arm. "You why? What's dizziness?"
Safira.
"We'll get to the car immediately." Bagas immediately invited Safira and Ira back.
"We're taking you to your house, Fir." Ira clasped Safira's hand, her face was not as pale as before.
"I'm not papa, we'll just go to the office. Your motorbike is still in the office." Safira can talk now.
"Don't think of us as Fir, we can order the vehicle online later from your home. What matters is you first." Ira still persuades her best friend.
"I'm not papa. I still want to stop by somewhere else. We're going to the office now, Mr. Bagas." Sapphira's voice sounded firmly not to be denied.
Ira and Bagas could do nothing but obey Safira's will.
The gray clouds in the sky had already begun to drip the grains of water, the longer it was getting faster. Heavy rain started to fall on the city. Safira was still silent in the car after her two best friends got off. Now he's turned to the wheel. No matter where he wants to go, he doesn't want to go home yet. A perfect cloud covered the sky. Safira began to step on the gas, his car drove slowly away from the office, but two seconds later it was faster to run under the rain like he wanted to run from the world.
Safira stopped his car in front of the mosque on his campus first then got out of the car and a little ran for the ashar prayer. Tears have been shed when the prayer is done, his shoulders look up and down signifying not a few tears that come out of his eyes.
It's broken, that's how it feels now. A man just wanted to buy it with an apartment. Devastated was his pride, his heart felt crumpled. Never before had Sapphira felt herself this broken.
"What kind of woman am I." His hands were shaking, covering his face. Allah's...." His lips were shaking and calling his God.
His chest still rumbled. There was heavy rain outside the mosque. Artificial lakes with jogging tracks that surround it look faint because of the swift rain. Safira stood up, folded his face and went down again towards his car. Put all his belongings, his bag is also his cellphone only clothes that accompany him under the rain. Navi-colored thick blazers disguise its body shape.
Seen a deserted artificial lake. Who else would be there during such a heavy rain, except for him who hopes the rain can clear his feelings.
With the zipper beside her skirt making her steps wider, Safira used to wear pants in her skirt. The pace is getting faster, running. He had now run around the lake. Tears and rain rained down from his face.
Sapphira sat down, her vision blurred towards the lake. His breath was breathless, but his tears were still not flowing.
Someone was suddenly already standing beside the bench. Safira looked up in surprise. His hand rubbed his cheek.
"No need to remove Sapphira, I can't see your tears mixed with rain." Bagas opened his voice, his eyes looking straight at the lake in front of him.
"Go sir." Sapphira could not get out of the chair because her leg muscles felt weak.
"I heard it." Bagas.
The crying of Sapphira became. Shame, that was what Safira felt at this moment.
"Don't hurt your body like this because of that jerk guy. You're not at all wrong with Safira, that guy who didn't know himself until he said something like that to you."
"Go sir." Sapphira threw out Bagas, his shoulders shaking with tears.
"Not if you're still here." Bagas spoke loudly competing with the sound of rainwater.
"Safira, I want to hate you when you choose to marry your current husband. But it's you Safira, I can't hate you."
Bagas turned to the lowered Safira.
"Safira, you helped me, right? Dropped the envelope with three million bills bearing my name. Then give the envelope to the cleaning service to give it to me."
Safira looked towards Bagas, she shook her head.
Bagas smiled. "That day, I was confused because in my wallet there were only two pieces of money left fifty thousand and ten thousand, while in my atm was no longer left because I sent everything for my mother's operation the night before. I contacted my neighbor if my mother's condition weakened post-surgery, I was just about to ask permission from the office. But after looking at my wallet I realized, I don't have any money. I just got transferred to Surabaya, it feels shame to borrow from friends here. You must have seen me crying and heard me complaining in the parking lot. At first I was confused a cleaning service person handed me an envelope bearing my name which he said had fallen. But after I opened it, my desire to go home immediately took me straight away and booked a ticket. I'll find out later."
Sapphira was obviously surprised by what Bagas said. But he still shakes.
"Written on the envelope is Sapphira's handwriting. I found out a similar writing on the envelope that I still keep. And when I asked the cleaning service back then, he also said that you found the envelope and told him to give it to me. As if it was mine. I'm not a bad person, my late father left some assets to me and my mother but that day I needed a quick fund for my mother who had an accident and needed surgery. Without thinking long I immediately transfer all my money which turned out to be the right amount for the purposes of surgery. I didn't realize my money was running out. And you saved me from the shame of debt and your money led me to be by my mother's side before she breathed her last to leave me forever." There's a clear grain coming out of the corner of Bagas' eye.
Sapphire was still crying sitting listening to Bagas tell a story.
"Safira, you better get out as soon as possible. Most men don't accept rejection." Bagas gave his advice. "Are you thinking about the penalty?"
