Reffan clenched his hands, his teeth clashing against each other venting emotions that had reached the crown. What did Bagas do to Sapphira? How dare he touch Sapphira. His breath was already hunting imagining Sapphira who was not okay. His steps will be darted but his mother's body hit the body strapping Reffan.
"Reffan. Nothing will happen to Sapphira. You remind Safira that in the office, Bagas can't do anything to Safira." Raisa's mom's hand held her son's body." Sit down, calm yourself!"
While Sapphira stared at Bagas alertly after Bagas' hand which he brushed aside before touching his nape.
"What are you doing Mr Bagas? You better get out now." Safira's voice was full of emphasis.
"You know Sapphira how much I want to touch you but I always hold back because I respect you. And now how can I let you go will belong to someone else." Bagas looked at Safira, his gaze was already different than usual.
Sapphira felt useless against Bagas, their conversation would be in vain because Bagas would not listen to anything Safira said.
Safira came out of her desk intending to get out of the room as soon as possible. Bagas' hand quickly grabbed Safira's arm, but Sapphira managed to turn the situation, his hand twisted off Bagas' grip and quickly pushed Bagas' body until Bagas fell down. Bagas was surprised by Safira's resistance he did not expect Safira could easily put up a fight.
"Safira.."
"You've crossed the line Mr. Bagas. You know what I hate the most. I hate men who can't respect women." Sapphira had already gone a long way from Bagas. Safira ran to the bathroom while removing a speck of liquid in the corner of her eye. His heart continued to stand until his hand reached for the bathroom handle. It's called a sink faucet. A speck of dripping liquid has turned into a tributary continues to flow through her smooth cheeks until it soaks her veil that extends beautifully to the waist.
"I don't want to be like this, God. You know I only want one faithful man to love me. But why would I make him love me and hurt him so much that he doesn't think about what he's doing." Sapphira repeatedly breathed in quickly trying to drain a lot of oxygen into her lungs to relieve the tightness in her chest. Sapphira washed her face after the teardrops stopped coming out from the corner of her net.
After he was sure his roommates had arrived he went back into his study. Without looking to the left right, Safira focused on looking at her desk and sat back in her chair. Sapphira who wants to complete the task as soon as possible because she will apply for marriage leave instead makes her face to face with Bagas who is out of control. Sapphira kept her face down because she did not want to show her blushing neutrality, anyone who saw her would know if Safira had just cried. Bagas could only stare at Sapphira from a distance. There was a sense of regret in his heart but that sense was defeated by the jealousy that ruled his body.
Reffan was already able to master the anger that was almost unstoppable. Now she is sitting next to Raisa's mother. His breathing had gone normal even though his hands were still clenching. But his heart still could not calm down if he did not know the news of Safira.
Reffan grabbed his phone back to contact Safira. Safira who felt the vibration of her phone was shocked to find the whereabouts of her phone. When he saw the phone next to his chair he just remembered his phone probably fell earlier.
"Assalamu'alaikum." Safira said after confirming who had contacted him.
"Wa'alaikumsalam's chat. Safira, you..." Actually Reffan was eager to flank Sapphira with questions flying in his mind. Yet disallowed. Perhaps it was better that Sapphira did not know if she and her mother had listened to Bagas' words earlier. Reffan had calmed down enough that Safira picked up the phone. "Safira, where are you now?"
"I'm in the office sir. I'm working."
"Hmmm. You're okay, right?"
"Yes sir." Safira began to think why Reffan asked like that. "Was Mama Raisa...." Safira guessed in his heart.
"Yes already. Take good care of yourself."
"He em insyaAllah."
Reffan closed his call. Safira was still worried if mama Raisa or Reffan heard the incident earlier.
Safira has just submitted a leave application letter for reasons of marriage. And must respond to questions from people who are surprised to receive it. Then immediately set foot out of his office. As soon as he wants out of his office today, Ira's invitation to his best friend for an afternoon walk while foraging is rejected. Safira avoids coming into contact with Bagas which is why he wants to leave his office as soon as possible.
Cars driven by Safira must blend in with the traffic in the afternoon. It took 40 minutes to get to his house even though if not jam hours only 20 minutes distance from his office and home. Just as Safira was about to close the fence after putting her car in, a man was already standing next to her car.
"Sir Reffan." Safira was surprised to see the man who was now standing right in front of her.
Sapphira who saw him became horrified with Reffan's gaze. His hands hugged his arms and tried to cover the front of his body. But it was clearly in vain.
"Why did Mr. Reffan come here?" Safira stammered it because Reffan's sharp eyes still did not want to switch from the woman in front of him who already felt very uncomfortable.
"What did Bagas do to you?" Reffan could not stop himself from pretending that he had not heard the incident this afternoon.
"outside. Allow Reffan to hear his conversation earlier with Bagas until where Mr. Reffan heard it. Uh?" Inner Sapphira, the gnat in Sapphira's chest grew firmer.
"Safira, what did Bagas do earlier? did he touch you?" Reffan had already clenched his hand.
Safira just shook his head.
"You lied. What did he do?" Reffan has stepped forward.
Safira was clearly panicking and was regressing a trembling step. For some reason Sapphira seemed to lose strength when dealing with Reffan only her heartbeat dominated when near Reffan.
"Nothing sir. Just don't come any closer!"
Reffan only realized what he was doing. Safira's face flushed red as she approached. Unconsciously Reffan smiled because he saw the reddened face he missed.
"Tell me what happened, Safira." Reffan stopped stepping and leaned his body on Safira's car.
"Nothing happened sir." Safira tried to answer calmly.
"Don't lie to Safira. Touched you? If you don't want to say it, I'll make him say it. Tell me everything right." Reffan glanced at Safira.
Sapphira was surprised by Reffan's words. He finally recounted the incident because he did not want Reffan to meet Bagas.
"How dare he touch you. I haven't touched you."
Sapphira immediately gulped upon hearing the words coming out of Reffan's mouth.
"Not for the second time. If he dares to touch you again, you can't help me find and beat up Safira."
Sapphira was silent, her hands ransacking her bag looking for a key.
"Safira what if we get married now. I'd be more at ease if you stayed with me not alone here." Reffan's face had already revealed a smile of a million meanings.
"What?" Surprised Sapphira heard Reffan say it so easily. Safira had already turned the key around quickly.
"Why isn't faster better so I can always be by your side looking after you and..." Reffan walked up to Sapphira deliberately hanging his sentence enjoying the blushing face that Safira was trying to hide.
"Do you think you're ordering Mr. Reffan's food." Sapphira shut the door and locked it from the inside. Groped his chest that was still pounding.
"Yes Safira, I can't wait to eat you." Reffan chuckled at the door of Sapphira's house.
