The Ancestral Inheritance Match

The Ancestral Inheritance Match
Chapter 75

...Missing a face I've never seen...

...Like a faded shadow ...

...On the face of the sky...

...I miss the eyes I never see...

...Like a faint star covered in clouds...

...I miss the hands I never held...

...Like an unfulfilled wind...

...But it's so real I guess...

The next day, as usual, Thalia returned to writing in the morning even though only one chapter. Three chapters specifically for Erick have been completed he just waits for a review from the editor.

"Hi, am I bothering you?" Sean came in after knocking on Thalia's bedroom door.

"No, why?"

"No breakfast, fun?" The curious Sean tried to peek at Thalia's writing.

"In a moment, awkwardly." replied Thalia without turning a single look.

"Do you want me to bring breakfast here?" Sean offers it back to Thalia.

"Hmm, no. We're eating out."

Sean waited for a while while paying attention to Thalia's writing.

"Well, you make Harry Potter?"

"No, it's similar. Base on that story, I make more romance." replied Thalia.

"Good job sist, do not expect you can write so. Is that exciting?"

"Well, I can cultivate a hobby and can have a reader it's priceless Sean."

Thalia closes her notebook and takes Sean for breakfast. As usual, Thalia's favorite healthy juice is available at the table. Wheat bread with tuna and cheese is also ready to eat. Slightly heavy but enough to fill the stomach in the morning.

"What time do you practice?" ask Sean

"This week off." Thalia answered while looking at the morning newspaper.

"Off's? There are no patients?" Sean's curious.

"Biasalah Aunt Alena. He asked for my schedule to be emptied to calm down."

"What is the problem with that kid who killed himself?"

"To be exact was killed Sean." Thalia stared at her twin softly. Sean remained silent, waiting for Thalia to speak again.

"He was killed by his father. Qiara was killed by the interference of a supernatural figure." Thalia then told me about what she had experienced with Sean. Sean was a loyal listener.

Sean took a long breath. Thalia's story is difficult for ordinary minds to understand but Sean knows Thalia is telling the truth.

"It must be hard to forget that moment Thalia. You're the last person she's asked for help."

"Very, and it was quite agonizing at first." replied Thalia sadly.

Sean looked at Thalia, still waiting for Thalia to speak. He owes Sean an explanation.

"Is there anything else you want to tell me?" Search Sean

"Relatedly? How is the author, how far has your relationship developed?"

"Cckk, you like mom Sean! Us? Um, just as close as a writer might be a little more." Thalia tried to lie to Sean, but its not working.

Sean is her twin brother, he is also like Thalia can feel the emotions of Thalia happy when talking about Erick.

"Tell me Thalia? Make me trust you'll be ok with him!" sean Pinta.

(Tell me Thalia? Make me believe you'll be okay with him!)

Thalia threw away her gaze towards the back garden. He tries to control himself before telling stories.

"He is kind, smart, good at writing, sensitive, very sensitive and one thing is certain!"

Thalia's answer made Sean laugh. His twin brother is like a unstable ABG who just knew love. Sean noticed Thalia's expression which he thought was very funny when telling Erick.

"Why laugh?" ask Thalia wonder.

"You! This time I fell in love. So funny!"

Thalia bent her face, she was annoyed. Thalia is a 35-year-old established and independent woman who is likened to ABG labile, Sean said.

"He's sick Sean."

"ill? What pain"

Thalia raised her shoulders slightly, "Some, she doesn't want a story. He was just saying good-bye to me last night."

"Sad?" ask Sean.

"Yes obviously dong I'm sad. The afternoon before he said he was sick, I also felt Sean's pain. That pain hurts and tortures me."

"Then?"

"I asked but he said he's ok. Until last night he said goodbye."

Sean folded his hands in front of his chest. He was confused by what had happened to Thalia. The emotions Thalia felt and the same pain she felt were more like the intuition of twins than the magical bond that binds the two human children of this generation.

"Thalia, never if you think that you're just delusional you. Maybe you misinterpreted that feeling?!"

"Delusions? Yeah ... could be Sean. Maybe I misinterpreted it, maybe I just fantasized about it and hoped she would love me."

"Have you thought about contacting him, hear his voice?! Do you have her number? Why don't you send a photo or something to know each other?" Sean's question made Thalia stunned.

(hearing his voice ... or something that makes you know each other.)

Thalia never shared anything with Erick. Neither face nor voice. Though if you think it is so easy because they keep their respective numbers.

"Let's see Sean, we've agreed on one thing. Our relationship is just in cyberspace." replied Thalia limp, a mistake she made in starting a relationship.

(Our relationship is just a virtual world.)

Thalia and Erick don't want to share photos or voices. They're just scared. Afraid to get involved. Afraid to hurt each other. And afraid that if one day parted it would scratch a wound that was too deep for the two of them.

That limit has been consciously made. Limits to protect their taboo love. And Thalia, could only soak her deep yearning. Missed the face she had never seen and missed the voice she had never heard.
