Gideon was lying on a bed at the end of the prison. He thrashed and groaned in pain after Dr.Trant injected a liquid through his neck. He screamed loudly, the cloth that had silenced his mouth until it slipped apart, occasionally looking like a flash of golden lightning emanating from his constantly thrashing body. The flash was so powerful that it broke the chandelier in the room.
While Dr.Trant, the mad professor, smiled happily as if his experiment had succeeded.
"Fantastic! That's fantastic!" murmured Dr.Trant while closely observing Gideon's reaction. "This is far beyond what I imagined. I'm sure it'll work."
Leo could not help Gideon because he was also in the same position, even after this was his turn to receive the same torment.
Gideon continued to thrash and scream in pain for a few minutes, until he finally drooped on his bed. Dr.Trant then approached her and examined her condition closely.
"Alright, this is enough for today" said Dr.Trant with a satisfied smile. "Now we wait for his reaction tomorrow morning. I hope I can still see you breathing."
Leo was horrified when he saw the satisfied smile on Dr.Trant's face. He knew that the mad professor would not stop until he reached his goal. Leo is worried about the fate of Gideon and himself.
He knew that he had to figure out a way to get out of this prison and save Gideon from this terrible experiment. However, he did not know where to start. His body was also too limp to break free, and his strength seemed to have disappeared.
"Wait.please, you don't have to do this... ."
Afraid not to play, when the mad professor turned and walked towards Leo. He walked with a grin on his face, leaving Gideon lying limp unconscious. Leo tried his hardest to escape. He also realized, if what Dr.Trant will do is no longer new to him.
"Wait, wait, don't do it, I'm begging you." Leo said in a trembling voice, hoping to convince Dr.Trant to do nothing.
But Dr.Trant did not budge. He walked around leisurely and stopped beside Leo. Some syringes were taken and filled with green liquid from a glass.
Dr.Trant carefully lifted the syringe and touched the tip of the needle with his finger, ensuring that the needle was sterile before being used to inject fluid into Leo's body.
Leo felt even more frightened when he saw Dr.Trant pointing the syringe at him. "Don't!" leo shouted in a loud voice, as there was no barrier whatsoever in his mouth.
Leo's constant rejection made Dr.Trant feel annoyed and took a handful of cloth, then put it in Leo's mouth. At the same time, he began injecting the liquid right in Leo's neck. Before Dr.Trant could press the lever on his syringe, Leo thrashed and shouted, so that fresh blood came out of his neck that was being injected. Not only that, the syringe also fell to the floor.
Doc! Doc!
The knock on the prison door disturbed Dr. Trant's calm and upset him. He walked up to the door to open it, and behind the door was a figure who was highly respected by the mad Professor. Either out of respect or fear, he seemed to be very obedient to the figure standing behind the door.
When the door opened, a tall and large man entered, rather tall and fat. The man was wearing a black suit with a rose on his chest, as well as wearing a breton-type hat. His face was covered in an iron mask, leaving only his eyes wearing round, black glasses.
Without further ado, the big man pointed at Leo and said, "Take this guy to the Colosseum!"
After the order was pronounced, two men dressed in all-black ninjas dragged Leo out of the prison into a long dark passageway. Leo was frightened and confused, but also relieved to finally get out of prison and leave the mad Dr.Trant behind.
Drawn by two men clasping his hands tightly, Leo felt his legs dragged across the cold floor of the prison. Both his hands were pulled to his right and left sides, making him like a convicted convict walking to execution.
This passageway was dark and void, only a few dim lights were installed on the wall, creating frightening shadows throughout the hallway. Leo felt a bone-chilling cold, and a hunger that tormented his body, for he had not been given enough food and drink. His sunken eyes and pale face reflected his extremely weak condition.
Leo was resigned to his destiny, despite the harsh desire to fight and escape, but his extremely weak condition left him almost helpless. In the darkness that surrounded him, he could only pray that there was a light at the end of the passage that led him to a better fate.
It seems that the prayer for freedom has not been answered. Leo felt disappointed and hopeless when he was thrown away on a large field.
"What is this, called the Colosseum?"
He slowly stood up and looked around him, where dozens of people were already standing in a spectator stands. The location of the place still in the basement makes it difficult for Leo to be able to identify anyone who is staring at him. In fact, he also did not know whether they were human or not.
All he knew was, a figure who was now standing alone and was right in front of the line of people. He was none other than Lucas, the br*ngs*k guy who came to him while in prison.
The arrogant smile of the person seemed to describe anything he might do for Leo. Obviously, it's not going to be fun.
