In a state of exhaustion and tension, Leo and Alisha sit on the narrow elevator floor, facing each other. Their breaths were still breathless after going through a series of dangerous events.
Leo looked towards Alisha with worry in his eyes. "Are you okay?" leo asked in a soft voice, trying to check on Alisha.
Alisha let out a small laugh, a faint smile appearing on her lips. "I'm fine," Alisha replied as she straightened her legs, "What about you, Leo?"
Leo is initially surprised by Alisha's relaxed response, but then answers alisha with a smile.
Their eyes met each other in a meaningful view. Leo sighed, feeling how their worries loosened for a moment in this togetherness.
However, not long after, the elevator stopped moving and the lights died completely. The situation became dark and silent, until the smiles of the two of them disappeared instantly.
With a careful step, Leo stood up and took out a flashlight from his jacket pocket. The flashlight light slowly illuminated the dark room and revealed the circumstances outside the elevator. Sure enough, the elevator had not stopped on the floor properly, outside the door that opened a little it only displayed a worn concrete wall.
Before Leo investigated further out of the elevator, he felt the tip of his pants being pulled by Alisha. Leo turned to Alisha who was still sitting, and without saying much, Alisha gave her gun to Leo. His face was filled with fear that read clearly in his eyes.
Leo is far superior to Alisha when it comes to shooting. So she didn't feel weird if Alisha gave her the gun.
Leo receives a gun from Alisha, feeling a warm and moist sensation in her hand. He feels a greater sense of responsibility and also a sense of trust given by Alisha. Leo clasped the gun tightly, although a slight tremor was still felt in his hand.
Feeling that the elevator door was too narrow, Leo tried to open it a little wider. With her heart beating fast, she ventured to forcefully open the elevator door.
The sound of footsteps starting to sound from the roof of the elevator makes Leo's heart beat faster. He immediately stopped forcing to open the elevator door and turned his head to the source of the sound.
Hearing the sound of rowdy steps approaching from the top of the elevator, Leo felt an alarm within him. He could already guess, surely what was above them was that monstrous black creature. Quickly, he took a few steps back from the elevator door and slowly turned off his flashlight. His eyes focused on the door.
Leo beckoned Alisha by placing her index finger in front of her lips, her eyes still focused on the elevator door that might open soon. He wanted to make sure that they didn't make a sound that could worry about the threats that were out there.
Alisha nodded quickly, understanding the importance of maintaining calm in this situation.
Slowly, Leo places himself between Alisha and the elevator door. His hand holding the gun was raised, ready to act if necessary. He looked at Alisha with steady determination, trying to provide a sense of security.
Alisha anxiously moved her position towards Leo from behind. Their breaths began to suffocate and cold sweat began to drench all over the body. They are prepared not to have to face anything that might appear on the elevator doorstep.
As the two of them tried to remain calm, something they expected not to appear turned out to be slowly revealing themselves. Dark hands began to creep and tear some parts of the elevator forcefully, as did tearing a piece of bread, it did look easy, creating an ear-piercing sound.
A sight that is no stranger to them. Those hands, black and dull, looked shapeless like ordinary human hands. Sharp long nails extend from each fingertip.
Alisha gripped the back of Leo's jacket with deepening fear. His hand was clutching the black jacket cloth that said POLICE tightly. "L-Leo," whispered Alisha in a trembling voice, her eyes fixed on the dark hands that began to creep on the slightly open elevator door.
Fear has taken over Alisha completely, until she accidentally forgets her rank as a police officer. He just felt fear in him.
Leo responds to Alisha's grip by raising his gun higher towards the monster who is increasingly revealing its form. Even though he was trying to stay calm, the truth was that he still felt an inevitable sense of tension and fear.
Leo's hand holding the gun trembled gently. He felt his heartbeat speeding up, trying to calm himself down while standing before the elevator door that was starting to slowly widen.
The elevator doors were almost completely open, revealing a terrifying scene before them. The monster's face was clearly visible in the flashlight that had just been lit by Alisha. The monster has a head that resembles a human, only a jet black color that adds an impression of darkness to its appearance. But, the most striking is the features of his face are very strange.
The monster had three purplish-colored mouths located on its face. One mouth is located just like a human, but the other two mouths are in a position that should be where the eyes are. The two mouths in the eye position were wide open, seemingly creating the illusion that the eye itself was speaking. The monster grinned with its three mouths, making a gaze filled with a terrifying threat. The monster's hair fell out and fell apart, giving it an increasingly horrifying look. The long, tapered monster ears added an inhumane impression to his appearance. All of these details create a truly terrifying picture, something far removed from the human world they knew. Leo and Alisha must face this unexpected threat, a monster with three smirking mouths towards them hatefully as well as humbly.
