Getting something he wanted made Brian so eager to get home. With a bag of young mangoes in his right hand, he entered the house with a happy smile.
Only Kuswara and the servants who seemed to be standing up greeted him. There was no wife there. Brian deliberately forbade the wife to move from the floor where his room is even to the balcony though, especially to go down to the bottom floor. Although not directly down the stairs one by one but through the elevator.
"Welcome sir," greeted Kuswara kindly while looking down as usual. Then his dexterous hand received Brian's suitcase from Billy's hand which walked behind him.
"What is my wife now?" Brian asked as he passed by Kuswara and the row of servants who greeted him.
Following Brian from behind, Kuswara replied. "Being reading the book above you."
Stopping his steps, Brian then thrust the bag he was holding on to Kuswara. "Clean this and make sambal rujak. I'll bring him upstairs myself."
"Okay sir," Kuswara replied obediently. "Do you need anything before I go to the kitchen."
"No."
"Okay sir, excuse me to go to the kitchen." Pamit Kuswara is polite. Then he and the servants left the family room.
Brian took off the buttons one by one and took them off. He then dropped his tired body until sitting on a long sofa. Folding his shirt arms, he smiled with a gaze directed at the ceiling of the room that he thought his wife was there.
It did not take long, Kuswara also appeared with a tray of mango in his hand. Seeing that, Brian immediately got up and was about to take over the tray with a happy expression.
"Let me bring him Mister," Kuswara pinta tried to defend something he held in an unkind tone.
"There's no need for Ma'am Kus, I can do it myself." Half forced, until finally Kuswara gave the tray willingly. "Thank you, Ma'am Kus," Brian said after the tray had passed into his hands. He left Kuswara there.
Just up above, Brian immediately caught the figure of the wife with his gaze. Women with maroon-colored mini dres attached to the body it always looks beautiful full of charm. His long hair was left to scrape and dance as an afternoon gust of wind swept over him from the open window.
The girl was looking down and so focused on the book in her left hand that she did not realize her husband was there. While his right hand occasionally squeezes potato chips from inside the jar located on the table without looking and feeds it into the mouth.
But then, his forehead wrinkled in confusion as his eyesless hand did not find the jar of potato chips there. Even though it had felt around him he still did not find it either.
"Where did the jar go?" He muttered as he glanced at the empty table beside him. But suddenly he was surprised when he saw the figure of the husband behind him. He immediately changed his sitting position and faced the man who was smiling triumphantly while showing a jar of potato chips in his hand.
Spontaneous Mayang put the book in his hand on the empty sofa beside him. "Dear to be home?" Smiling bashfully, Mayang scratched his non-itchy head.
Brian clucked in wonder, while auctioning off softly. "Read what the fuck, to the point that you don't realize there's anyone around you." He said as he returned the jar to the table and put the tray he brought earlier beside the jar.
Tearing his body slowly on the sofa, Brian's hand then moved to embrace the body of the wife who was at his side and took him into the arms.
"What are you reading, baby?" Brian started asking questions while trying to pick up the book squeezed between their bodies. Brian was grieving as soon as he found out it was a romantic genre novel that his wife read. Then put the two-finger-thick book on the table.
In his face the wife's face with love while gently rubbing her hair. "Lately you've loved reading romantic novels, honey, are you learning how to be romantic with me from the novel, huh??" He asked as he brought his face closer and gently kissed the wife's red curvature.
After replying to Brian's warm kiss, Mayang buried her face in her husband's chest while playing her index finger there. "I read to drive away boredom just darling ,,,." The answer sounds weak.
"Let's hold on a little while, baby, this is for your and our baby's good. I don't want anything bad to happen to you guys." On the rubbing of Mayang's shoulder gently. "Oh yeah, what else do you do but read?"
"What else can I do but sleep and eat." Mayang replied in a annoyed tone. She broke away from Brian's embrace and sat up straight, looking down at her husband. "Every day my work just rolls around in bed. I was tired of sleeping and just woke up to eat. Then after I was full I went back to bed to fall. I've been like a cow baby ,,,,! My job is just to eat sleep." Mayang grumbled annoyed while he cut down.
While Brian instead of feeling pity just chuckles while pinching the squeezed cheek of the wife who even now began to pierce. "How can you say that, stye."
Mayang reflexes cupped both cheeks with perfectly rounded eyeballs. "Even now you're calling me chubby, am I that calm now?" Asking while pressing both of her cheeks, the girl looked even more adorable.
"Ha-ha yes Honey, you look stingy now, but I love you more and more and more." Tempt Brian while supporting his chin and staring at the wife full of puja.
"Is it really ,, is it ,,,?" Mayang rolled his eyes. "Then it doesn't matter if I eat a lot, Ha-ha." Mayang's laughter sounded crisp as he grabbed the jar filled with potato chips again.
Kraus-kraus, the crisp sound of potato chips was heard as Mayang chewed inside his mouth. Brian was just stunned astonished to look at the wife who looked so enjoyed the potato chips, while the juvenile mango that he brought was not glimpsed at all.
"Dear, I know." Mayang replied casually without glancing at him.
"If you know dong is eaten, dear." Brian said in a half-rule tone.
"Dear, I tried it." Mayang pierced one mango slice and chocolate it on sambal rujak. The girl grimaced with acidity while chewing it. Then put the cutlery on the plate. "That's ah, thank you dear,,," he said as he smiled his sweetest smile.
Brian snorted as he placed the plate again on the table. Then back on his chin with a gloomy face and staring at the neglected rendition.
Mayang who caught the change in the face of the husband immediately stopped his snacking activities. He glanced at the husband full of question marks on the head while biting his lower lip. I don't know why he feels if the husband's mood is bad at this time.
Inching, Mayang leaned his head on Brian's shoulder and put his hand in her arms. "Tumben bring young mango dear, another cold huh?" Ask in a spoiled tone.
"No." Brian answered briefly but his tone sounded striking. Make the soul offended Mayang suddenly vibrate by itself.
"Of course I brought it for you darling, appreciate my efforts dong. I thought you'd be so happy that I brought you a young mango. You just ignored him." Brian's grumbling couldn't hide his frustration.
Suddenly releasing his embrace, Mayang no less look upset. "Who asked to bring a young mango, dear?! I did not like mangoes that are young because of the acid. Wouldn't it taste better old, it's definitely sweet right?!" Mayang also picked while chewing rough favorite potato chips.
"You're so weird. Pregnant women usually like young mango right?!"
"That's them, but I'm not!" Sahut Mayang fast. After a moment of silence, she threw her eyes at her husband and looked at him suspiciously. "Woman pregnant who do you mean likes young mango dear??" He asked half of the interrogation.
"Who?" Brian stuttered as his wife suddenly looked at him in full search as if he was a defendant. "No dear, I've only heard from friends." While grinning, Brian scratched his non-itchy head.
Brian breathed a sigh of relief when the wife did not intend to discuss it further and chose to focus on her chips. From this he concluded that all pregnant women are not the same.
How can he be affected by the recognition of two pregnant women who like young mango earlier. They are not Mayang's wife. How could he just liken them.
I don't know why Brian so wanted to taste the young mango presented in front of him. The more viewed the mango looks more tempting.
He pulled the plate closer to her. He also cutlery and stick it on a slice of young mango. Brian feed it to the mouth after dipping it in spicy delicious sambal rujak.
"Hemm, good." He murmured slowly as he started chewing it. Unsatisfied, he ate it again, again and again. Because so excited he made him choke and cough.
Mayang who was surprised immediately reacted lightly patting the back of the husband. "If you eat slowly, dear dong, you're choking on ,,,!" Slowly said. Her hand reached for the glass to give her husband a drink, but the glass was empty.
"Well, drink it out." Mayang complains while staring at the empty glass he raised high. "Darling, I'll just grab a drink in the room for a while huh," she said later. He also moved after a soft kiss on the cheek of the husband.
The prohibition of the husband to walk hastily also made him walk very slow. So that just back and forth to the room only takes a few minutes to sit back next to her husband. Then poured the glass filled with water on the husband who had relaxed while leaning his back on the back of the sofa.
After putting the empty glass that Brian had spent on the table, Brian's gaze was immediately fixed on the empty plate before him.
"Honey, where's the young mango?" Ask in wonder.
"It's over." Brian answered lightly while playing his phone.
"The young lady with the big plate, dear?"
"Yes." Yeah." His reply was short while looking at the wife who was looking at him confused. "Why look at me like that? It turns out that young mangoes are delicious."
"Huh?" Mayang looked strangely at Brian who was smiling widely. "Since when do you like young mango dear?!"
"Either. Seems like it's been."
