Survival Act 6: Let's Catch the Lizard

Continuing back with Johan and Ahmad who are still in the big tree to rest because they are tired after they realize that they are lost and just spinning covering the same place as before. Ahmad sat at the back of the tree. Meanwhile, Johan, who was on the opposite side of the tree, was still waiting for Ahmad who he said was checking the contents of his bag. The goal is to see if there is a compass or not. But Johan was too tired, so he did not look at Ahmad. He was pensive when he was watching the leaves swaying in the breeze.

" Have you checked Mad ? " Johan asked Ahmad.

However, Johan's question was ignored by Ahmad.

" Ahmad have you met the compass ? " Jo asked again.

Again and again Ahmad did not answer his question. Finally, Johan got up from his resting place to look at the tree where Ahmad was resting.

" Waduuuh.this child. I thought he was looking for a compass, and he was sleeping" said Johan, who was inexhaustible.

" Ahmad..Ahmadis..Let's get up." shouted Johan who tried to wake Ahmad.

Ahmad still did not hear Johan's screams, probably because he was really tired and the two of them had not had breakfast.

" It may be time to find food. Oiya I have a brilliant idea." Johan murmured in his heart.

" Ahmad woke up there grilled chicken and Sate Madura special part of you..Come eat." shouted Johan while smiling to himself.

" I'm sure this time he'll wake up" he thought. Shortly thereafter Ahmad awoke, after hearing Johan's screams about food.

" Where is Jo Sate Madura and his roasted chicken ? " ask the excited Ahmad.

" It's in Mad Forest, where there's food like that here" Johan replied.

" You gave me false hope Jo, and I'm sick" Ahmad said, stroking his chest.

" o.oy..Since when have you been good at stringing words and saying what a heartbroken warrior should be." Johan asked Ahmad in a joking tone.

" Of course, since becoming friends with all of you" replied Ahmad.

" I'm sorry, I just wanted to wake you up" Johan said.

" It's Okay, I appreciate it. But I'm really hungry Jo said Ahmad, who began to complain of hunger.

" Let's find something to eat." Johan.

" Come! " cried Ahmad to answer Johan's call.

" But where are we going to find Jo's food ? " ask Ahmad.

" You've heard that in the past many people built along the river, they built houses in such locations because it was easy to find food" Johan said.

" Oooo yes I've heard of it. So we're looking for the nearest river from here, right ? " ask Ahmad.

" It's right." replied Johan.

Ahmad and Johan went looking for something to eat towards the river. The distance of the river from where they stand is not too far away, only the terrain that must be traversed is quite extreme and steep. Luckily for the two of them recently the weather was friendly with them.

" The road is very steep" said Ahmad who was surprised.

" I just found out about this, too, Mad. But how else, this is the only way to the river." Johan chimpanzee.

" It's very extreme, and probably slippery if the grass and soil are rather moist." lamented Ahmad.

" Yes, we should try it, so that later we know for ourselves and no longer curious" said Johan.

" Alright, but be careful Jo" Ahmad reminded.

Johan and Ahmad then down the slope below which there is a river, they ventured despite initially having doubts. Indeed, the contours of the land in the forest are hilly, so it is quite extreme if not careful will be harmed and certainly can endanger lives. Slowly but surely Johan and Ahmad went down the slope, until finally Johan who was behind slipped.

Ahmad was shocked, and not ready for anything. Ahmad who was not ready to avoid being hit by Johan and they are now together slipped which actually brings blessings to them. God loves his servants, that is the algorithm. Because without them knowing it they managed to go down the safe slope in a way like playing prostotan.

" Johan.with the slip we had even managed to descend the slope safely" said Ahmad.

" You're right Mad. God is good, thank God." Johan added.

Ahmad and Johan then walked down the river they just stopped by, they saw whether there are many fish there or there are other foods that they can eat directly.

" Mad, I look around the river as clean and clear as this must be a lot of fish" Johan said.

" Ahaa is right, you said. Nice observation Jo." Ahmad praised Johan.

Without realizing it appeared a fairly large monitor lizard. The lizard they only realized after the lizard came out of a hole on the slope. With the experience of Ahmad and Johan in nature-loving organizations, they both can swiftly catch the lizard without difficulty. The cohesiveness and cooperation between Johan and Ahmad is indeed a reliable combination even though they are actually rivals.

" Jo you're stopping from over there, I'm going to catch this monitor from behind." intruction from Ahmad.

" Well, the instructions are appropriate because I'm afraid of the monitor lizard, eee is afraid of being bitten or scratched to be exact" Johan said.

In the end, they caught the lizard. For a moment they carefully observed the lizard that was being held by Ahmad.

" Mad Oiya, isn't the lizard one species with the Komodo dragon ? " ask Johan to Ahmad.

" They are indeed one species, lizard species or Salva, if not mistaken" Ahmad replied.

" They are still relatives apparently. And do they wag their tails to survive ? " Johan asked Ahmad again.

" Eeeum.so I don't know Jo." replied Ahmad.

In order to answer Johan's curiosity, Ahmad showed the lizard even closer to Johan.

" Look at this Jo" Ahmad said, pointing to Johan.

" These long nails or claws are for foraging for food like fish or for survival mode in case of any threatening danger." Ahmad added.

" It's a long claw, it looks like it's very strong if it shreds." Johan said.

" Hahaha.for sure Jo. Want to feel it ? " jandaan Ahmad offered Johan to feel the scratches of the monitor lizard.

" When observing animals directly in nature, what is the name of Herring or what is it" said Ahmad.

" Ah, that's the point. Then what are we going to do with this monitor lizard Mad ? " ask Johan to Ahmad.

" How about we just let go" Ahmad said.

" But we're hungry isn't it better if we eat" Johan said.

" Iyasii before also I've eaten lizard meat and yes it tastes good" said Ahmad.

" What did you eat that satay lizard ? " Johan asked Ahmad again.

" Rightly what I ate before is satay lizard, very tasty." replied Ahmad.

" We just clean up here the biawaknya mumpung is in the river Jo." asked Ahmad.

" Come on." said Johan, answering Ahmad's call.

When it will be slaughtered, the lizard managed to run away and make Johan and Ahmad have to chase it back.
