Day one: Time for adaptation

Johan, Iwan, Ahmad, Selly, and Cindy drop off their luggage, they then proceed to clean up the grumbling at the camp site.In the meantime, Johan and Iwan begin to set up a tent. The fog started to fall, the cold pierced the bones, enveloping their adaptation.

Ahmad, who did not help Johan and Iwan, was assigned to accompany Cindy and Selly to find firewood and springs. Iwan, who is often worried about excessive then whispered something to Johan, moments after Ahmad, Selly and Cindy went to look for water and firewood.

" Jo, is it okay they're just three ? while there was only one male among them, I was worried that there would be panic, moreover the route they chose was quite risky amidst the fog." Ask Iwan.

Johan was silent for a moment, he seemed to be remembering something. Johan approached Iwan and patted him on the shoulder, saying.

" Wan, do you remember, when the five of us climbed the mountain, there we are 3 days with more or less the same natural conditions, fog, cold, even almost no water source, when it was just Selly and you who took the water and firewood, nothing happened that was feared, right ? so you take it easy Wan. Trust our friends, pray that they're okay." Johan said wisely.

Iwan is relieved to hear Johan's statement, which makes him realize that he is not alone, because there are friends beside him.

" You're right Jo, these times, we can only trust them, let's get the job done right away." Ivan.

Johan and Iwan then hurriedly finished the tent establishment, and also cleaned around their tent.

On the other side, which is a trio who are looking for firewood and water, they have enough difficulty passing through the slippery and steep route.

" Cindy be careful, don't let your guard down when you step." Ahmad warned Cindy.

Cindy is sometimes in a hurry when doing something, especially when feeling scared. He is often careless when he is too eager to do something. As they passed by, suddenly near a large, shady tree they saw a snake.

" Eeh Sell, look out for snakes." Shouting Cindy.

Cindy saw a snake near Selly's feet. Selly was surprised because she didn't realize it.

Sally was relieved, God protected her. He just realized the importance of vigilance, and focus is very necessary.

" It's both Sell, but you have to be more careful, there could be danger lurking around us." Cindy warned Selly.

"Cindy's right, Sell, it's starting at noon. Let's get it over with, before lunch time." Ahmad confirmed the suggestion of Cindy who continued their search.

After they found the firewood they were looking for, and had found the source of the spring water, they rushed back towards the tent, while on their way back to the tent, Ahmad told Cindy and Selly a little bit about the thing that Ahmad had just seen. Ahmad found a shiny object.

" Cin, Sell, when I took the water. I found something that sparkled like a diamond, and when I wanted to take it, I remembered the message from the school driver to be careful. So I didn't take it." Ahmad.

" Thank God, you didn't take that stuff, remember, we're strangers we don't know anything about this place." Cindy said.

Upon the return of Ahmad , Cindy & Selly , their tent was ready, even clean, their luggage was tidied up by Johan and Iwan.

" Thank God you've come back. I'm a little worried about you guys." Iwan.

" Thank God, Cindy, Selly here let me just bring the firewood, you guys rest for a while." Johan added.

At 1pm, they had all been worshipping and eating, and they decided to start discussing their research plans.

"So where did our research begin ? " Open Selly.

" As we discussed yesterday, before leaving here. We're going to observe the animals that inhabit this forest." Reply Johan.

" Do we have to divide into small groups ? this forest is so vast, isn't it." Cindy added.

" I agree with Cindy. But whether it does not harm us, especially those who are a little familiar with this forest is only Johan. Besides him, we're new." Iwan.

" What Iwan said was true, I thought what if we worked as a group unit. But it has a different task specification." Ahmad said he gave advice to be a solution to consider.

They agree with Ahmad. Then Ahmad explained his opinion on the division of duties in the group.

Then Iwan and Cindy, because Iwan has a character of critical thinking , whereas Cindy is meticulous but often hasty , you will be suitable to record all the objects or animals that later We meet in the habitat." Ahmad.

" As for me and Selly, will bring equipment that may be needed at any time, as well as making conclusions and reports. But we will also work with Iwan and Cindy." Its effects.

" You are wise, Mad. Well before we start our activities today, let's start by praying. May we be saved, kept out of danger." Bring Johan.

They then took the necessary supplies and equipment, and took the route to enter further into the middle of the forest. Johan leads the group while warning his friends not to be empty.

They walk as far as 1 km from the campsite for 1 hour with quite difficult terrain. On the way they find animals that are very rarely found in the village, even many of which they do not know the name of each animal. Iwan and Cindy who have a hobby of liking animals can only write physical characteristics because they do not know his name.

Suddenly when they were still doing research, one of them, Ahmad saw a black flash in the middle of the forest covered with fog, until finally he almost fell silent with an empty mind.

"Ahmads..Ahmadis..Hey why are you, don't daydream." Tegur Johan's.

Immediately, Ahmad awoke after hearing Johan's reprimand.

" I'm sorry, Jo, I just saw a black hole behind that big tree." Ahmad lirih.

Johan then approached Ahmad and whispered something to him,

They then continue the journey while analyzing the natural habitat of the animals.

The clock is 3 o'clock, they decided to end the research and will continue it tomorrow. With hungry stomachs, and leftover energy, and minds that can't think clearly they're back in the tent.

Arriving at the tent, they then divide the task, men to prepare firewood and look for water, while women process food. They rushed to cook and eat and worship because the day began in the afternoon, the ceiling began to cloud, thick fog fell, accompanied by cold.
