Bad Experience

Their guess was right, not long after they had secured the firewood, it was raining heavily. Selly and Cindy join Johan, Iwan, and Ahmad's tent and discuss their next research plan.

Cindy opened the discussion,

" What about our next research plan? " ask Cindy to her friends.

Suddenly, Ahmad cut the conversation. Ahmad wanted to tell them all something. His friends asked Ahmad,

" What you want to tell me, come on, talk to us" Selly told Ahmad to tell him a story.

Ahmad took a deep breath and exhaled it from his mouth, he said, saying,

" The story is really about my experience over the past few days. You must be wondering where I'm going and why I can go back on my own" Ahmad said with his voice lowered.

Johan cut Ahmad's story, though,

" Yes indeed we are very curious about you who suddenly disappeared without a trace" Johan looked on with a serious look.

" We wanted to ask you from yesterday, but considering my wry state of shock we finally abandoned our intention to ask" Johan added.

Ahmad understood what his friends were going to say, and Ahmad began to tell them all about his experiences.

" I wanted to apologize to all of you before, so you were worried about my whereabouts suddenly disappearing. While we were doing research that day, somehow I was daydreaming, my legs were controlled and I was really like a controlled doll. But I don't know for sure who's controlling me" Ahmad told friends.

Then he continued his story,

" Aren't you not aware of my existence, are you? and so was I who was suddenly somewhere. The place seemed to be a forest so deep, there was no human life there. When I realized that I was walking unknowingly, I wanted to go back, but unfortunately my body felt very sick, it was like Someone was holding me back from staying in that place. When it was evening, maybe around 6 pm more, I was visited by a black creature carrying many worms and maggots in his hands. You guys know what's going on? the worms and maggots he brought were my food" said Ahmad, with slight nausea, recounting his bad experience.

His friends were surprised, they all did not think Ahmad turned out to experience such an incident. They all immediately felt nausea just listening to stories from Ahmad, especially Ahmad himself who experienced it.

" Ahmad how do you feel when you eat worms, especially maggots who are very disgusted" said Cindy asked Ahmad.

Though it seems disgusting. But Ahmad decided to keep telling me everything.

" If you just hear it's nausea to want to vomit, let alone eat it. I can't swallow that kind of thing, I just rebel and try to keep praying even in my heart" Ahmad said.

Hearing that they're getting nauseous.

" What about Mad?" asked Iwan while switching the subject.

" After that I realized that I was like being put into a cave, and also once I was taken to a big tree like a banyan tree that had hanging roots. I stayed there for a few nights." replied Ahmad .

" But what I'm surprised about is, when it's daylight or when there's sunlight, I somehow feel like I'm not being guarded, they're like they're afraid of getting burned. At that moment I realized these people were delicate beings" Ahmad added.

When the suspense of hearing Ahmad's story they were startled by thunder that seemed to be grabbing the tree, they were shocked to hear it.

" Now after that, the thunder seemed to have struck a tree near us" said Selly who was surprised by the thunder.

" Iwan, Ahmad continued later the story, now the most important thing is that we must immediately make a ditch for the waterway so as not to enter the tent." exclaimed Johan while standing.

" Good Jo. Come on I'll take my crowbar first in the bag." said Iwan as he searched his bag.

Because Johan was still unable to move quickly he made a trench only around the tent. While Iwan and Ahmad made a trench outside the tent by wearing rain.

" Ahmad, Iwan's raincoat is in a plastic bag" Johan said, pointing out the location of the raincoat storage.

Amidst the heavy rain accompanied by thunder made their afternoon terrifying, the air was so cold. Luckily the firewood they had secured first before it rained. They can make fire to warm themselves. It did not take long for Iwan and Ahmad to make a trench, with skills and experience when climbing the mountain made them trained. After they made a trench, Iwan and Ahmadpun went back into the tent.

" How is this, I'm afraid if it rains like this. What I'm worried about is being struck by lightning, or this tent collapsing" said a frightened Cindy.

And so did Selly.

" Yes Cindy, I'm scared too. Johan is it okay if we make a fire inside the tent?" ask Selly who's shivering.

At first Johan hesitated to allow them to make fire, but because the tent was safe and spacious, Johanpun allowed it.

" Eee how, yeah, I'm afraid it'll smoky tent. But it's okay. It's so cold anyway" Johan said.

The five of them regrouped in the company of a bonfire inside their tent. Then they continued the story that was cut earlier.

" Ahmad, continue your story, we are becoming more curious" Selly urged Ahmad.

Ahmad wants to continue his story,

" After that, I felt like a day there was going to be a long time, maybe because I didn't do anything but there was something else strange there. In the forest it feels crowded as well as human traffic activities" said Ahmad.

Johan chimed in on Ahmad's story.

" Grandfather Dul once said that you have a special ability, can interact with the supernatural dimension, is that really Mad?" ask Johan to Ahmad.

Ahmad nodded and said,

" Grandfather Dul could tell because he was also not a careless person Jo. Yes indeed even arguably I disappeared yes because it was brought into their dimension." said Ahmad explained.

They did not expect humans to enter the supernatural dimension that even seeing could not just anyone have this ability. Ahmad also explained why they had brought him.

" They took me because I could communicate with them. Actually they want to make me a victim and media to scare people not to pollute the place with sin. They just don't want any human being to disturb their peaceful life because they've recognized this is their territory. While human territory only up to the village" Ahmad told them.

His friends can only be silent to hear the story, while contemplating there is indeed a point that the magical creatures of the inhabitants of the region convey to Ahmad.

It did not feel the day had changed Night, they then immediately performed worship.
