The Survival Act 5

The story continues with Johan and Ahmad who saw a lot of snakes in their place of stay or rather under an old tree where they were unconscious last night. Johan and Ahmad talked about the number of snakes because they were in a snake nest, they called it like a snake island or Ilha da Quemada Grande.

" Wasn't that time, we have nature lovers activities early in the time asked to hold the snake Jo" asked Ahmad.

" Is it now mating season for the snakes Jo ? " ask Ahmad.

Meanwhile, somewhere else. Selly, Iwan, Cindy have started their journey in search of Ahmad and Johan. They seemed to be dressed casually, looking to carry only versatile equipment that could be used at any time.

" It's morning, it should be easier to find them" Selly said.

" I thought otherwise." - timpal Iwan. " Why can you think like that ? " ask Selly.

" Eeeumm, I think if they're still sleeping in the moment it'll be easier, because they're not moving around. Another case if they have woken up, then they will definitely find a way to go home or if they do not get lost they will walk around with curiosity." replied Iwan.

Suddenly the stomachs of the three of them rang, which signified they had to eat to fill the stomach.

" Don't let them go, we've just started starving" Selly said.

" Let's find something to eat too." Selly invites Iwan and Cindy to find food just to block their hunger.

The three of them infiltrated the forest, looking for plants they could soon eat. It did not take long for them to find food, not far from where they stood there was a grove of bamboo trees.

" Look at Selly, Cindy.in front of us there are bamboo trees." cried Iwan.

" Oiya, thank goodness. The beloved buds arrived" said the exuberant Selly.

" Wan, try to find out if there are bamboo shoots there or not." Cindy asked.

" Okay, it's for you" replied Iwan.

Iwan approached the bamboo trees. At first glance there is nothing wrong or strange from the bamboo trees, so Iwan dared to go alone.

" Thankfully, this place is safe like nature is friendly to humans" said Iwan.

" Eee.approximately which tree has bamboo shoots, quite a lot of bamboo trees here" he murmured in his heart.

After a while, Iwan managed to find the bamboo shoots he was looking for, even he found up to 3 shoots, which would surely be enough for the three of them and also Johan and Ahmad. Iwan took his versatile knife.

" Thank God these bamboo shoots must be enough for all of us" said Iwan.

" I'd better hurry before we all go hungry" he added.

After obtaining the bamboo shoots, Iwan cleaned them from the bamboo leaves with water, then brought them back to Selly and Cindy. When Iwan returns, Selly and Cindy look for fruits for added nutrients rich in fiber.

" Selly.here at a glance I see the berry of the forest" said Cindy.

" Ah right, you're not kidding, are you ? " ask Selly.

" This time I'm serious, let's search around here." Cindy told Selly.

" Okay but wait for me, my legs are still a little sore for a quick walk." replied Selly.

Then Cindy picks up Selly, then embraces her. The two of them took a walk while looking for extra food. " It's true I said, there's a forest berry here." cried Cindy.

" You can find the berry of the forest like finding a treasure of a lump of gold" Selly said.

" Hehe.but it is not wrong to also call food like this as treasure Karun know" said Cindy.

" Already, we should quickly collect this, while Iwan has not returned" he continued.

Meanwhile, Iwan who returned with bamboo shoots. On the way he found a gecko in a big tree. The gecko is quite large.

" What animal is it ? " he asked in his heart.

" The animal is like a gecko, but wait.the size really surprised me." said Iwan.

Iwan then tried to get close to the gecko. With a knife in his hand he dared to approach the gecko, just in case when the gecko attacked him.

" Oh my God, that gecko is so big. It was much bigger than the gecko that used to show themselves over my door." he murmured inwardly.

" When you look at the big gecko has a lot of meat,.eeumm yummy." thought Iwan.

" But how am I going to catch that gecko huh" he thought back.

Then he looked around and found a tree.

" Aha there are tree branches, I use it." said Iwan.

Iwan uses a tree branch to drop the gecko on the tree, and the gecko falls to the ground. Immediately Iwan held the gecko so as not to run and catch it. In the end, he slaughtered the gecko.

" I've eaten geckos, and I don't know why I'm afraid of geckos." he murmured.

Then Iwan returned to Selly and Cindy's place, as well as the two of them who arrived simultaneously with Iwan.

" What did you get Wan ? " ask Cindy.

" Aha I got a lot, enough for all of us to get to dinner" said Iwan who still hid the food he got.

" What did you get ? " ask back Iwan.

" We got the forest berries, eeumm very fresh, quite the food fiber as well as the food snack of hungry farmers" said Selly.

" Tell us what you got before." Cindy's love cornered Iwan.

" Alright, here it is" Iwan said, pointing out his acquisition.

" But yes, there are 3 of course we will be full to eat this much until night." Selly's reaction was excited to forget his legs are still not healed.

" Be careful Sell. You're a great Wan." Cindy praised Iwan.

" What is in your left hand ? " ask Cindy again.

" Eeee this is anu, I'm sure you guys have never eaten it" said Iwan.

Then Iwan showed me the gecko meat he had cleaned before.

" In that case, we find a roomy place, or we go back to the tent before continuing the search for Johan and Ahmad." take Cindy.

" Well, you're smart. I'm hungry too." Selly concluded.
