Day Eight: Survival Act 3

It was almost morning, the clock was 5 o'clock. Because they want to give first aid immediately, they then bring Iwan back to the tent. When he arrived at the tent, Iwan looked so pale, then Cindy immediately gave him a warm drink. His friends are worried about Iwan, they just hope that Iwan can quickly get along. The four of them worshiped first because it had entered at dawn.

While they were worshipping, Iwan slowly began to awaken, and he looked tense as if he had been deeply traumatized after seeing something. Iwan watched the surrounding, he wondered why he could be in the tent, while last night he felt he was urinating in the river.

" It's in the tent, didn't I poop in the river last night, but why am I in the tent? did I just dream last night" said the bewildered Iwan.

Johan, Ahmad, Selly and Cindy they have finished their worship, they are happy after seeing Iwan has awakened.

" Eh Iwan, you're up apparently." said Cindy who looked happy.

Seeing Cindy greeting him like that, Iwan was more and more confused by the look on the faces of his friends who were looking at him with that look.

" Surprisingly, I woke up so happy they were, or maybe I had experienced something. If there is nothing why I was not invited to pray." murmured Iwan in his heart.

Iwan decides to ignore her and assumes nothing has happened to her. It was morning, they went in search of nutrients like fruits again, because their supplies had been exhausted. As for the main food they still have the fish caught yesterday in the river.

Johan gathers his friends to give directions.

" So later for breakfast menu ,We still have fish caught yesterday, but the supply of firewood, drinking water, and side foods like our fruit has been exhausted. Therefore I will divide us into groups with different tasks, so that we work more effectively" Johan told his friends.

" It was Ahmad and I who were going to look for other nutrients, to take water, and firewood. In the meantime, Selly and Cindy are gonna be cooking. Iwan you just take a break, if you want to help, help Selly and Cindy" he added.

After hearing Johan's instructions, they hurried to carry out their duties. While Iwan chose to help Selly and Cindy. There is a reason why Johan forbade Iwan to help him because Johan and Ahmad were worried that if Iwan came with them, he could remember the incident last night and more feared Iwan would return unconscious, his condition has not allowed him to move far from the tent.

Johan and Ahmad have found a new food source, they found forest blueberries and forest strawberries. Although the location was far from the location of the water collection, and very far from the tent they both still went to pick up the fruits of the forest. After enough they both returned to the tent, carrying a supply of clean water and firewood.

" Johan, after a few days here we have learned a lot no, let alone we are far from the attention and affection of parents, we all also become more independent, we all become more independent, even though we start a new life from scratch." Ahmad said on the way home.

Johan smiled in response to Ahmad.

" That's right Mad. I also feel like we're getting more solid, getting to know each other, there's no more selfishness among the five of us. Most importantly, as long as we're in this forest we value food even more." Johan added.

" Nah, there he is. Sometimes food seems to mean a lot more than gold, spears, or diamonds though. But we as humans are less grateful for it all. Most of us complain too much and demand."

Their conversation was so cool that they did not feel they had arrived at the tent. The atmosphere of the morning was calm as usual, many mosquitoes were flying that made itchy. The sound of crickets, the birds are used to accompany the days of the five of them.

" It's me and Johan who found a lot of blueberries and strawberries in the forest" Ahmad said, putting the fruits on a small plate.

" Why have you been so long?" cindy asked Johan and Ahmad.

Johanpun explained to them all.

The three of them, Selly, Iwan, and Cindy were astonished to see Johan and Ahmad. Selly with her wild mind said.

" Don't you guys, like each other." said Selly.

" We're both normal, it's good that you talk like that." Ahmad denied, regarding Selly's statement.

" What are you experiencing or feeling. Tell us about it. Do you have the heart we're made curious like this." Cindy added.

" Yaiya alright. I'll tell you the truth but after breakfast. My stomach is already sounding and the worms in my stomach are also wobbling to eat" Johan said in a joking tone.

" Hadeeh, it's after breakfast the story." responded Selly with a sour face.

Although it was still early morning but in the place they set up so many mosquito tents. The condition makes them uncomfortable, especially for women, namely Selly and Cindy.

" Why don't we find a place where there aren't too many mosquitoes. Honestly, this makes me uncomfortable, and uncomfortable." - Cindy.

" That's right, especially when night falls, it annoys sleeping people, itching because mosquitoes mess with my good dreams." added Selly.

Their friends Johan, Iwan, and Ahmad laughed at this.

" Hahaha, you guys are weird. Obviously we are in the forest, there must be a lot of mosquitoes. If you want a comfortable home, go home to sleep in your own room and then be comfortable." respond Iwan while laughing out loud.

" This is a tropical rainforest, you should have realized it is not the land must be very humid" Johan added.

" And a lot of puddles, trees are so lush of course it is natural that there are a lot of mosquitoes" Ahmad added.

After a long wait, their breakfast has finally matured and is ready for consumption. The five of them were so calm, clearly drawn by the look on their faces. Do not forget they are always grateful for every mouthful of food that enters their mouths.

" At last the breakfast was cooked. Let's eat." take Cindy to her friends.

Sitting in the tent accompanied by a cool morning atmosphere and breakfast menu and a glass of warm drinks make the atmosphere comfortable, can momentarily release the tension that occurred several days that they have passed. The laughter was tucked away in the middle of their breakfast, for that was the only way to entertain themselves.

" Why the food is good Cin" said Iwan praised.

Iwan praised Cindy's cooking but in a satirical tone, because actually the grilled fish was without any seasoning.

" Iyalaa my cooking, oiya don't mock ya , just be thankful we can still eat." replied Cindy who was a little upset.

They had their delicious breakfast that day. Meanwhile, their journey is still very long, and there may be many obstacles waiting.
