Day Seven: Survival Act

The two of them seemed to be inexhaustible Iwan thought as brave and determined even though Iwan was a coward.

" Nekat also you are Wan." praise Ahmad about the courage of Iwan.

Iwan laughed and said ,

" hahaha how else, his name was also forced to not bear." replied Iwan with the laughter of the three of them.

It was morning 'they were ready for a new beginning, to prepare themselves to stay up, they prepared breakfast to fill their energy and to keep their focus awake. Selly and Cindy prepare the cooking utensils, while Ahmad and Iwan make a fire. Only Johan does not come to work because he is banned by his friends because they are worried that the snake venom that has bitten Johan has not been completely lost.

" Selly please bring food ingredients such as carbohydrate sources and side dishes" Cindy exclaimed to Selly.

Then Selly check their food supplies, how surprised it turns out the rest of the food supplies only leave for their breakfast today.

" Well how is this, it turns out that only this remains. This food will certainly not be enough until later in the evening" said Selly who was confused.

After he checked carefully it turned out that the plastic bag he was carrying had been hollowed out at the bottom because his small knife tore the plastic bag,which indicates that many food ingredients in it fall during the trip. Cindy who looked at Selly like confusion then approached him.

" What's Sell? is there a problem ?" ask Cindy to Selly.

Sally was a little surprised by Cindy's arrival from behind, she felt guilty for not being careful and lacking in meticulous storing things. Selly realized when in the forest, food is the most valuable item beyond advanced technology. Selly suddenly hugs Cindy and apologizes to her.

" Cindy, I'm sorry" Selly said with tears beginning to drip.

Cindy was confused by Selly and asked.

" What's the matter? why cry like that?" ask the confused Cindy.

Slowly Selly wanted to tell about the missing food ingredients falling because of his carelessness.

" Cindy's groceries. I dropped it because of the bag I hung in the bag and worse it was next to my knife." replied Selly.

Cindy can understand Selly's feelings, she knows for sure Selly feels guilty. So Cindy could only try to calm him down.

" Not to think about it. We should immediately cook the remaining food ingredients" said Cindy asked him to forget the incident.

The two of them then prepared the food. When breakfast was ready, they started eating. Cindy tries to help Selly explain to the rest of the friends that their food supply has run out.

" Our food supplies are running out, and there's nothing left for us to eat for lunch" Cindy added.

Johan, Iwan, and Ahmad were surprised to hear this, even Iwan to choke so shocked. It was surprising because they remembered very well if the food given by grandfather was enough for a few days. But the three of them did not want to debate the matter. Iwanpun began to worry about how their condition would be.

" Well then how will we eat?" Iwan asked his friends.

" I don't know for sure Wan. But we have to try and keep working together to stay alive" Johan replied with a serious face.

It was done Johan to strengthen the mental friends so as not to complain or blame each other, because if the mental friends down there is they die. Right now the most important thing is trying to stay alive that's what Johan thinks.

" What Johan said is correct. I will also try my best with knowledge and experience when being a member of nature lovers maybe I can apply, right is it not Wan?" ahmad said.

Hearing that, they all become motivated again, they should have realized the risk when in the forest must have difficulty finding food. They spent their delicious breakfast one last time. For the next will probably be a heavy obstacle for those who are still lay people have not much experience of survival in the wild.

After they finished their breakfast they began to prepare themselves to do research as well as look for food for them later. They're having apples.

" Let's all get together, there's something I want to tell you." take Johan to his friends.

" Today we will try to walk down the small river around our tent. It's about 50 yards from where we are. I stress that no one will be selfish if they find food or water. Remember with us to eat with us hungry." Johan asserted with enthusiasm.

" Oiya there's something I want to add. Regarding what kind of food is safe for us to eat, that is if it is fruits that are in the forest then remember. Characteristic of edible fruit in the forest the first color is not striking, the second is hairless, the third is not gummy, the fourth is not thorny, the fifth does not smell pungent, the second is not, and the last one is for sure you know the fruit is commonly eaten by mammals" said Ahmad explained about the characteristics of forest fruits that are safe for consumption.

" Do not just take what is in the forest, friends because the plants in the tropical rain forest are very many types. So we will not know for sure whether the plant is safe or not" said Ahmad added.

After hearing the explanation from Ahmad they little know the science of nature lovers. Then Johan gave an explanation.

" I'll tell you a little bit about the use of the compass. This I only hold a small map that could not possibly explain up to the details of this place, but at least this is quite helpful. If we have determined the coordinates based on the map first before aiming. In this case to determine the direction of the wind. Johan said to Cindy,
