Day nine: Survival Act 4

Far enough away their journey to return to their original place, thirst and hunger seemed to hinder them. And sure enough, Iwan who was not strong enough to walk again, finally fainted on the road. Sontak , it makes Ahmad distraught.

" Iwan..Iwan, can you hear me? Ivan..Iwaan." Ahmad's panicked reaction.

Then Ahmad planned to find food for Iwan. But he did not include Iwan, because his condition was not possible.

After feeling safe, Ahmad immediately rushed to find food that can be eaten, he went through the lush forest alone with only a knife and a bottle of drinking water in his hand. As Ahmad searched he was still anxious, he did not want to let his friend die of hunger, even though he was also hungry. On the other hand Iwan was awake, when he woke up not to see Ahmad, and only saw his bag that had been opened.

" Did I faint, (starved stomach sounds) My stomach hurt. Did Ahmad go looking for food?" ask in the heart.

Meanwhile, Ahmad has managed to find a spring of water ,

" Ah the freshness of this water, to the extent that it is full just by drinking water" said Ahmad.

It takes time to find water, which turns out there is a small stream near the slope where there are many bamboo trees. While taking water, Ahmad several times found plants that can be eaten.

" There are reeds, these can be eaten. Fortunately I brought a knife, to cut off the roots. It seems good to cook or eat directly" said Ahmad with a feeling of excitement.

After eating some Ahmad wrapped the reeds to carry them. It felt enough, Ahmad intended to return to Iwan, but he remembered the bamboo trees earlier.

" Wait a minute, instead of around the spring there were many bamboo trees. Maybe there's bamboo shoots to cook, it'll be delicious."

Ahmad ran back towards the spring first before returning to Iwan's place. When Ahmad arrived, he was surprised because Iwan was already humanized.

" Iwan, are you better now?" asked Ahmad who approached Iwan.

" It's better, especially after drinking earlier, thank you Ahmad, fortunately you leave your drinking water here." Ahmad smiled, though,

" No matter Wan, we are a team and we are friends, it is appropriate to help each other." Ahmad said.

The two of them then ate the food they found, the reeds had just eaten the roots, while for bamboo shoots they tried to boil. After that they ate the food and managed to survive the hunger and thirst they felt before.

Meanwhile, their friends Selly and Cindy are also up and cooking breakfast.

" Selly please get me that firewood over there." Cindy asked, pointing to where it was.

" Okay." replied Selly.

" Eemmm.sedapnya, in fact if the cooking itself is much tastier and more satisfied, even if only with simple ingredients." muttered Cindy who was tasting the cuisine.

Selly who was picking up wood accidentally dropped the wood to scatter on the ground.

" Oh, the wood fell. Maybe because it hasn't breakfast, and just woke up so still limp haha." he joked while cleaning the wood back.

While cleaning the wood, Selly was surprised because there was a scorpion that was among the woods almost to stamp it.

" Fyuhh almost, fortunately still had time to see the scorpion" he said with a sense of relief.

Soon Cindy approached Selly out of curiosity about what was happening.

" Ah that's okay, just now I was surprised I almost didn't see a scorpion between the wood." replied Selly.

" Oooo thank God, let's hurry up and get it to the fireplace." Cindy told Selly.

Their cooking is ready, and Selly and Cindy rush to eat breakfast. They seem to be looking forward to coming back.

Selly and Cindy walked towards where they were separated, just like Iwan and Ahmad, they both had also been far away. It takes time to get back. " Oh," Cindy turned to look at Selly. " Selly.ayo got up." while helping Selly to get back on her feet.

" It hurts, but we have to get back, Cindy look up at the sky, it's cloudy today" Selly said.

" Are you sure it's okay?" ask Cindy again.

"yes I'm sure it's okay, it's not a problem for me it's just a small wound" she said with a smile drawn on her face.

But Cindy did not immediately believe, she then immediately took the red medicine and plaster in the medicine box in her backpack. Cindy cleaned the wound, she seemed to care deeply about her best friend. Sally smiled at Cindy,

" You're Cindy's true best friend, you care about me." - Selly.

" Shut up for a minute or you'll get sore" Cindy said.

After finishing dressing the wound, they continued their journey slowly - land. Cindy embraces Selly, helping him walk.

" You don't worry, we'll make it before it rains" said Cindy, who calmed Selly's heart.
