Sara closed her eyes tightly. Tired because of the long journey in the plane that is also draining. Not because of aching sitting, but the personal activities of a husband and wife.
The husband chuckled at that. While driving, Max plays music. A gentle melody followed by melodious music becomes a lullaby for Sara.
First love with a reason
Darling, hold my hand and take my heart
Say you love me one more with a feeling
And kiss me slow in the back of the car
I drop my guard, let you in
This love is our, it's everything
And we both know, it's simple stuff
We are in love, we are enough
Sleeping in on Monday morning, I am
Lying next to you
And darling, if we're falling sparks we'll fly and ignite the fuse
Dynamite like
We are exploding colors that shining purple and green and red in the sky
Love is unfolding before our eyes and lighting the way ahead like fires
This is a memory in our minds that we will never forget
You and I
We are the love and we are the night
We are dynamite
Westlife song titled Dynamite, as if to be an expression of the heart of Max who is crazy about his wife. Wishing happiness is like a colorful color in a very beautiful night sky.
Max glanced at the woman who closed her eyes beside him. Looks peaceful in his mind does not even move a little when the music grows melodious.
Recalling their hot activity on the plane, Max chuckles again. Just for a moment and make her miss the sound of Sara's beautiful voice.
Not wanting his mind to be re-energized with lust for more, Max doubled the speed of the car. Sara was shocked from her sleep.
"Max? Are we on the plane again?!" sara shouted in shock and made Max laugh in disbelief.
Sara was completely asleep, Max could not deny. His wife did not have enough rest time while in Naples, even until now Sara's sleep is disturbed again because of it.
"Sorry, honey, I just want us to get there fast. Daddy and Mommy are already waiting for us at home," Max replies holding back a laugh at Sara's disheveled and seemingly confused look.
"Ohh ...."
Just that one word, Sara closed her eyes again. He was really tired and indifferent to the music that echoed in the car.
And luckily, understanding that the wife did not want to be disturbed, Max turned down the volume of the music. Sara felt the beauty of the dream world.
The black Porsche that brought him into the dream world did not long stop. Sara felt it, and she opened her eyes. Surprised that it was not Max's mansion, he turned his head with a questioning look.
"Mommy's house, honey. He missed you and told me to bring you here" Max explained with thin smiling lips.
Sara just realized, from earlier she was in the car and did not know anything. Letting the pearl-black iron chariot take him away.
"Will Mommy blame me for the incident? Oh yeah, what about Adrian?"
Sara asked frantically, afraid that the middle-aged man had a physical disability that would make him feel guilty.
"I don't know. Sorry to disappoint you, Sara," said Max Sayu who added to Sara's heartbeat rhythm.
She was scared, really scared something happened to Adrian. The unanimous anger and determination and determined hand pulling the trigger, just happened that night and Sara regrets it now.
"What about the dead guard? Will his family imprison me? Or will they take revenge on me? Max, I don't want to die yet. There are a lot of things I can't do, and I still want to do well. How'this?"
Sara gripped tightly onto the oversized t-shirt on her body, and looked at Max who was standing at the car door, waiting for her to get off.
"Max, are you gonna help me?"
Max's arm instantly shatters Sara's hopes. His hands trembled, even Max had to grasp them tightly and help him down.
Sara's leg joints are limp, walking contiguously with Max's memapah. Entering the not-so-large and scantily guarded mansion, Sara could see a middle-aged man sitting down enjoying a cup of drink while reading a magazine. From her picture Sara recognized the magazine, the adult magazine and it reminded her of what Deborah said some time ago.
'Is it true that there is no withering in his life? The cover is worn but it contains a new sheet.' Sara smiled foolishly.
"Dad" said Max, who made Iglesias take down his reading glasses. "Where's Mommy?"
"It's gone to sleep" the man replied indifferently. Iglesias glanced at Sara a little and then refocused on her magazine. "You're home, Sara?"
Sara gulped rough. The stature of the middle-aged man before him looked unusual. The way he sits can intimidate someone, especially he said. Really dead fleas.
"That's it, Mr ...."
This was the first time he spoke to his father-in-law. Confused what to call. And the frown on Iglesias' forehead again pulled Sara's fur up.
"Master?"
"Sorry."
Iglesias turned to Max, who was sitting on the couch, and picked up some snacks on his father's plate.
"Max, did you teach your wife to call your father-in-law 'Master'?"
Max just chuckled, not responding with a speech.
"Or Deborah who taught me how to talk like that?"
Sara was clumsy, unable to even make a sound. He just smiled. Drowsiness that had attacked in the car immediately disappeared.
"You called Deborah Mommy, didn't you? Why don't I?"
And Max interrupts. "Are you a girl, Dad?"
"Brazed kid! Is this your attitude after meeting your father-in-law?"
Max's face turned flat. He looked at his father without a blink. "Why didn't you ever tell me that, Dad? You're making me look like a fool."
"You won't learn to solve problems if you can't deal with them, Max. And I kept my promise to Alara."
Sara looked confusedly at the two people. There was something that he did not understand.
"And you, Sara, are you happy to have met your real father? He's softer than Peter, isn't he? If Alara really married her, I think your life would be more fun than being Peter's son."
His thin lips were just wheezing, a little not understanding of Iglesias' intentions. Why does it sound like an insinuation? Is it just my feelings?
"A surprise that tests the guts, sir. I didn't know there was such a father on earth" Sara said.
Sara reminisces about her first and last meeting with Thompson until Iglesias's voice shocks her. "'Master' again?!"
"D-hc ...?"
Sara saw the corner of the middle-aged man's lips raised upwards, so thin that it was not clearly visible. "Slightly tolerable. Like Anne called me."
"Are you guys gonna stay here?" ask Iglesias a moment later.
"No," said Max as soon as possible.
"Do I bother you, Son?"
The grin on Max's lips made Sara shudder. Something's going to happen, Sara understands. And to stop that cunning intent, Sara smiled sweetly at Iglesias.
"Where can I sleep tonight, Dad? I'm a little tired after getting off the plane."
Max opens his mouth to protest but is intercepted by Iglesias. "Are you deaf? My daughter-in-law is tired, you have to obey tonight, bad boy."
"Dad, what are you thinking? I don't mean it."
"What are you thinking? I'm afraid my son-in-law can't face a surprise tomorrow. Adrian is dying" said Iglesias, who was able to stop Sara's heartbeat for a moment.
The news really took Sara into shock. Otherwise, the middle-aged man who was always smiling and helping her in the kitchen experienced this. And that's because of him. If Sara hadn't pulled the trigger that night and shot Adrian, if she wasn't jealous and ran away from home, it wouldn't have happened.
A lot of the words if they appear in his head and it makes him dizzy again. Sara hoped that what she heard just now was just nonsense, but reality was still like that.
"He was unconscious yesterday, his family brought him back."
Sara stiffened in place. Doesn't that mean he didn't have the chance to meet Adrian and apologize to the middle-aged man? Things get tough, Max can't help. What would happen if Adrian's family also sued him as a murder suspect?
In that silence, there was one lip that curved to form a demonic grin. Sara didn't realize that.
