A young man seemed disheveled in his seedy clothes like a beggar. His hands and feet were tied and his mouth was forcefully closed. Her beautiful face was covered with black and red stains, but it still gave off the aura of her youth.

The blood that slid from the corner of his lips increased a lot as time went on. So did the wounds on his forehead and most of his face, so his appearance looked very bad.

The few people standing before him continued to intimidate, asking the same question each time, mentioning the name 'Wild Wolf' at the same time. However, there was nothing he could give. He did not know the wild wolf.

Every punch and kick he got made him remember the figure of a person. A man who once appeared as a hero and helper angel in his difficult times. Could it be that what they meant was him? Because he had seen so many victims and became one of the hitters at that time.

Shortly after, the door of the room where he was held was wide open. The morning sunlight blinded his eyes and there was a figure he knew very well from the direction of the light.

"Sister Max?" He tried to pronounce the name from behind his mouth that was held captive.

His eyes sparkled after learning that the person who brought him to Madrid was Max.

"Open the lid on her mouth, let her talk!" max's strict orders were directly obeyed by his subordinates.

"Sister Max!" he shouted after the mouth opener came off. He got up from his chair but a moment later he fell down, his legs and hands tied to a chair where he sat and he forgot the fact.

"How dare you call my name that way with your devil mouth, Traitor!"

The glint of anger in Max's eyes emanated clearly, and the man grimaced in fear for it.

"Sister Max? Why are you mad at me?"

"Shut your mouth, Gerald! You don't deserve to say my name like that anymore!"

Gerald - the young man - was shocked, Max was furious. He knew Max, and if the man was really angry then nothing would escape the flames of his anger.

"Why ...?" Gerald tried to ask the reason behind Max's anger.

"Aren't you aware of your mistake? How dare you betray me, Gerald. How much did you sell my stuff without my knowledge?"

Gerald is now aware of the motive of his arrest and ends up in the city of Madrid. Guilt enveloped his heart.

"Someone offered a price higher than the market value there and I was tempted by the money. I thought, I could give you a little more than last month's sum, brother."

Max was still listening. His eyes continued to stare sharply forward, highlighting directly into Gerald's clear eyeball. The young man he once loved and called his sister by him.

"Then? What's going on?"

"He didn't pay a penny. Just as I was about to inform you, the man sent his emissary and destroyed everything I had there. And force me to move in with just this outfit."

Max breathed heavily. "You think I'll believe your story? What about the maps you have?"

Gerald looked up, staring in the blue bead that shined a sharp glare at him. "That guy's creepy, brother. His body was full of tattoos even to the head. He's like a dictator in his place."

"What about the map?" Max asked the same question.

"I managed to save him. But ..., it's still in Valencia."

"I don't fully trust your words. You could've been lying around and faking everything, time could have changed human behavior."

After saying that, Max got up and turned around. "Open her bond and let her join you. Alex, clear my schedule here until next week. I'm gonna go find my lost stuff."

Hearing that, Gerald shouted. "Sister, don't deal with them! That guy is terrible!"

"The outside look doesn't describe who he is inside, Gerald. Even now I doubt your loyalty to me. You're still under my watch now, do everything you want and I can judge you once again."

Regardless of Gerald's anxious cries, Max comes out and Alex follows.

"Senor, are you sure you want to go there?"

"You doubt my decision, Alex?"

"What if Gerald is telling the truth?"

"Then I will find out the truth and take back what I should have."

Sara gawked as food sat on the table. Various types of food in and out of the country are listed there with an extraordinary look.

"Why so much, Ken?"

"I haven't eaten since yesterday" said the man, chuckling. Without hesitation, he took some side dishes and ate them. "You also have to eat a lot, look at your skinny body."

"You don't have to insinuate my body. This is a special posture for a woman, no need to diet and do extreme exercise to lose weight as the models of the upper class do," explained Sara with pursed her lips.

"You're lucky, but your luck doesn't determine your destiny."

Sara rolled her eyes lazily. The man could not believe that he was married and even Kenneth laughed as he called Maxwell his name. It's an illusion, he said.

"I'm married, Ken. I'm wearing my wedding ring, look at this" Sara said, showing a ring around her ring finger, a sign of her legal husband-wife status with Max.

"Everybody can wear a ring and deceive the public, Sara. I still couldn't believe it before I saw it with my eyes."

Despite being extremely arrogant, Sara still behaved sweetly in front of the man. After all, the man had once been her helper before.

"Well, I won't force you to believe. How about we just eat without talking much?"

The fork in the plate in front of her became an entertainer over Sara's annoyance that had reached the crown. Despite having breakfast, but seeing a lot of tempting food and attracting the attention of her stomach, Sara felt hungry.

Therefore, without waiting for Kenneth to agree, he ate greedily.

"Eat slowly, Sara. No one will fight with you" Kenneth said when he realized the woman in front of him was devouring with a flash.

"I don't have much time right now, Ken. Max will be coming to get me."

The man chuckled mockingly. "You're still delirious, Sara."

"Surrender, there is no need to believe my words because reality will answer at the right time" Sara replied casually. He continued eating quickly.

The man seemed to think for a moment. "When did you get married? Why is there no public notice? Usually if the marriage of a man like Mr. Del Montana would be spread outside here."

While chewing her food, Sara shook her head. "We don't want to expose our relationship" Sara replied after swallowing her food.

He wore such an alibi to prevent another question from Kenneth, but still the man's mouth was like a leaky bucket and filled with curiosity.

"Why? Are you not lovers?"

Getting such a sudden and on-target question made Sara choke on the food in her mouth.

"Drink." Kenneth offered her a glass of water.

"Thank you" said Sara after gulping down the water.

"Why are you choking? Is my guess right?"

Trying to calm down and take a deep breath, Sara did not dare to look up. Because he knew, every time he looked at Kenneth, the man seemed to be able to guess what was on his mind.

Fear about the rift in the relationship that they have just built is the main reason for closing down. She doesn't want anyone to break their relationship, because Sara can't let her loved ones stay away.

"You're wrong, we love each other and were once lovers."

Kenneth laughed cynically. "While you're down, I can guess from your tone, Sara. And also, not long ago, Max was exposed to a lover named Alana."

The deg!

Sara forgot that fact and how confident she was she said that they were lovers.

"That was, we dated after that. I know Alana."

Mentioning the name of the woman who had been a part of the husband's past made Sara's heart bitter. He restrained himself and tried hard. He switched to taking a few pieces of meat and chewing with emotion.

"No more scandals after that, Sara. You lied to. You don't love each other, do you?"

Despite wanting to punch Kenneth in the face, Sara still remembered the man's kindness. There was no way he would be ungrateful after being saved by others, even if it was his enemy.

"You are wrong! I love my wife and my wife loves me too. Is that right, honey?"

The sound and clattering of someone's steps from behind her made Sara's hair stand up. He didn't think Max would find him there. However, there was a slight sense of relief after Kenneth saw Max.

Like a wife caught cheating, she turned her head quickly and smiled. "Max? You're coming!"

"You wish I hadn't come? How am I gonna catch my cheating wife then?"

Not knowing his shame, Max pecks Sara's cheek that gets a pinch in the stomach by his wife.

"You're really thick-faced, Max," whispered Sara.

Feeling himself ignored, Kenneth cleared his throat. "I'll be the dividing line."
