"Why did you bring the woman of the forest here? Do you want to embarrass us?"
"She's my wife, Mom."
"Mommy doesn't like it. Divorce her!"
Deborah's voice growled between her whispers in Max's ear. The husband who heard that immediately rebuked.
"Darling!"
"Don't cut my talk, Iglesias. Are you blind? Just look, all the women wear beautiful dresses when out but she wears worn out shirts and ugly pants. Isn't that enough to describe himself as inappropriate for Max?"
Max who heard that clasped Sara's hand tightly. I don't want the woman next to him to hear her mother's words.
"Mommy!"
"Don't argue, Maxwell! I'm your Mommy."
"Deborah!" furious Iglesias. "It's not good to vilify your son-in-law's name. Aren't you a dignified woman? Show him you're a good in-law."
The middle-aged man sharpened his gaze on the wife.
"You don't know anything about that woman. She's not the right woman for Max."
"That's Max's business. Don't bother him, he's an adult."
Max was silent at the whispers of his parents. He thinned his lips knowing Deborah was silent because of the father's blue eyes.
"Are you comfortable being here?" max whispered in Sara's ear.
Although reluctant, Sara nodded. He didn't want to bother Max. Being in this room sitting together with a lot of people is not something fun. If you can choose, he will choose to be alone on the roof of the building and wash his eyes with the natural scenery in the city of Madrid.
"Thank God, it's over soon. They just want to get to know you."
"Why?"
"Because I'm handsome. And they believe that I married a beautiful woman."
Sara snorted but did not stop her heart flowering. The man's trustworthiness is ridiculous. And the word 'beautiful' that Max uttered as if giving him the spirit to endure.
"Yes, I admit it. Handsome but creepy."
Max raised his eyebrows, not understanding Sara's words.
"Your emblem."
He chuckles. "Gosh, this makes me more charismatic."
The voice of the Master Ceremony calling the owner of the building echoed. Max immediately stood with Sara beside him. The two advanced forward followed by the adoring gazes of everyone.
Charisma-filled, Max receives a microphone given to him.
"Thank you for taking part in this building confirmation event. I'm Maxwell Del Montana, the owner of this building is happy for your participation."
The thunderous clapping of hands was deafening. Everyone's curious gaze was fixed on the two. The uninvited on the eve of his wedding certainly did not know that he was married.
His wife's awkward smile is felt by Max. He clasped the hand that had been wrapped around his arm.
"Maybe you guys are wondering who this beautiful woman beside me is. Introduce, this is my wife. The beautiful woman I married a few days ago."
Ending the introduction, Max takes one of the drinks off the table and lifts it high. "Enjoy your party" he said, closing the speech. He left the large room.
Some paparazzi chased after him, asking the origin of his wife. Leisurely, Max replied, "She's the woman I've been in my dreams all along. The woman I dreamt of with me to the old days."
Without realizing it, his words made Sara's heart feel sad. His position in Max's house was not as special as it was said.
Peter who accidentally heard a grin. He didn't expect Max to say such a stupid thing.
"We'll see what you do, Maxwell."
***
"You really don't want to see him?"
"For what?" ask the woman. "Marrying you alone is enough to drive me half crazy" Sara murmured later.
Max's offer to meet Peter is rejected. He was tired and wanted to go home soon.
The blue man chuckled softly. She knew Sara never liked Peter.
"You're sure that's the reason?"
"What do you want for?"
Max paused for a moment pretending to think.
"Don't want to let go of longing, for example?"
Sara nodded weakly. How could she miss someone who's forced her to live in a household with an annoying guy like Max.
"My miss has been treated just by looking at it from afar."
"May you be okay."
The woman turned her head to look at the husband's blue bead. He frowned, not understanding the man's words.
"What do you mean?"
He just puts his shoulders down. "I thought maybe you'd miss her after being away from her."
"Impossible," denied Sara was lazy. "Where else are we going?" tanyanya diverted the conversation.
"Where do you want to go?"
"The forest?"
Gaining a hopeful look from the woman makes Max undo his intention of taking Sara somewhere.
"I think you're tired" Max quipped. "alright. I know one place that suits us."
"Yes! You're the best, Max!"
Feeling himself fed by the husband's bait, Sara ran away and hurriedly got into the car.
"He's weird," muttered Max grinning.
He got into the car and sat behind the wheel. He evicted Lewis, saying that he wanted to spend time with his wife.
"No."
"Come, Sara. Don't argue."
Understanding with that subtle and ironic tone of speech, the brown woman said.
Sitting sweetly looking ahead apparently could not distract her from Max's face staring intensely at her. He felt uneasy and looked at the man.
"W-what?" sara asked timidly to see a grin on Max's lips.
"You haven't finished your sentence."
He neutralized his sudden heartbeat. Pecking for a moment, he pretended to be sniffy.
"Which one?"
"Pretend, huh?"
Max smiled faintly looking at Sara's reddened face in annoyance.
"I want to change the rules. If you make a mistake, then you should kiss me first. The opposite is true."
When Sara opened her mouth to refute, Max immediately cut her off.
"Disputing means we're off into the woods."
Wanting to breathe some fresh air inside the forest, Sara nodded. About that rule, he'll take care of it later.
Max smiled with satisfaction. This is what he's looking forward to. He wanted the woman to kiss him first, without any coercion from him.
"good. Responsibility now!"
Sara mute.
"This car won't run if you just shut up, Sara."
Mendelik does not like, finally Sara complies. After all, eventually the man would also force her. After all, just now that Max had called his name meant that he had also deliberately taken the chance.
"You're getting good at kissing, honey."
Sara turned her face which was already heating up. She wanted to punch her husband's face.
Not yet had he kept his head away, Max had already kissed his cheek first.
"My punishment."
Instead of staying away, Sara looked back at the intense blue netra.
"Why see me like that?"
"You kissed my cheek?" tanyanya polo's.
Max chuckles. He drove the car without answering his wife's silly questions.
"Max?"
"Your punishment!"
With a huff, Sara approached and kissed Max's cheek.
"Why on the cheek?"
"The answer to that question should be yours."
The man grinned, he did not expect the kiss to warm his chest. His pity turned out to be imitated by his wife.
"Because your cheeks are tender."
"Pump? This isn't a couch, Max."
Sara cupped her cheeks together, afraid that the man would suddenly kiss her again. Really, that kiss on the cheek completely diverted his entire world.
"Darling ...."
"Sorry," sorry. "But, your cheeks are like hedgehog feathers. Sharp and piercing, a little laughable and not tender."
"Gosh, I married a strange woman" Max murmured.
He recalled the words of Alana who also licked her jaw tickling.
"You said something?"
"No."
Not long after, the car stopped somewhere. It looks a little like an unkempt place, full of weeds that creep along the way.
During her adventure in the forest area, Sara had never found this place. When he entered there, he was amazed to see the trees are very unique. It grew soaring and looked like an abstract image he did not know about.
Various plants hang their lives there. Also many animals were able to distract the woman so she did not realize that Max had been watching her since.
"Is this forest protected? I've never seen it."
Max looked away, pretending to concentrate on some passing animal.
"It's mine."
"How can you?"
"I'm rich, Sara."
He pulled Sara's hand to a slightly higher place. The cold directly pierced into the woman's thin skin. He rubbed his arms so that the warmth kept him afloat.
"There's a place to relax under that tree. Let's go there!"
Sara followed where Max was going. Until they both arrived at their intended place.
"Wow, there's a waterfall there. God, I'd love to linger here. Can I come here as I wish?"
Max turned his head, he opened his suit and then put it on Sara who looked cold.
"There are many beasts here."
Justright. Shortly after, the roar of a wolf instantly made Sara tighten her grip on the suit.
The more the wolf approached, the more his body stuck to Max.
"Max ...," he wrote.
