The blindfold was opened forcibly making Sara snatch inwardly. Either who did it, wanted Sara to kill the guy or just kick him to feel the pain.

After the annoying black cloth came off, Sara looked around her and the first object she saw was a tattooed man. This bright room made him clearly see the figure of the owner of the black bead.

The man's tattoo fills the whole body even the head does not escape. A wide variety of images were engraved there and the image on her neck made Sara frown in wonder.

Why the red Lotus Flower tattoo that blooms perfectly on his neck does not show the true philosophy of the flower, even impressed as a scorn. Inwardly, Sara scoffed at the man.

Whether there was any other meaning to the picture, Sara paid no heed to it. Because as far as it is, the Red Lotus that blooms perfectly carries the meaning of greatness and generosity.

And other than his sharp expression, he knew this man was a rude and intimidating person, showing no signs of someone being generous.

"Are you Elijah?"

"You're expecting who's here?"

Sara stared flat, she looked down and realized her hands and feet were still handcuffed. "Why hasn't this been opened?"

Stephen grinned, he turned Sara's head back and made the woman grimace in pain. "You should be grateful I opened your eyes and you could see the sun. Your man locked my man in a dark place full of mold and bacteria, wouldn't I be more kind?"

Sara was surprised, she looked at Stephen with a questioning look.

"You don't know? It turned out that Max didn't tell you either huh," Stephen sneered in a scornful tone. "The alana you know is my man."

"Whatchu mean? You're good at kidding, sir. Max loves that woman and you want to take her away from Max?"

Sara chuckled, thinking that her speculation was correct. Because in reality, Max does love Alana and for that very reason, he runs away from Max's grasp and ends up here.

But Stephen's naughtiness made him wary. There was a hidden meaning from the look in the man's eyes.

"You fool! Atlanta is my man, and your man has fallen into the trap I set," Stephen grinned. "So, you've also included the free fish trapped in my net."

The black bead flash was so creepy coupled with a scary grin that made Sara's book sit up.

Did he tell the truth? Is what Max says true? He just made Alana bait .... But I still felt pain seeing what happened that evening.

And what makes Sara curious, if indeed Alana is the woman, why ....

"Why did you take Alana off as bait? Isn't she the woman you love?"

Sara saw Stephen's change in look, growing darker. "Love? Really naive, women are just a game. Sex is more important than anything and he's just a slave to my bed. Satisfying me made him have his own position in my place."

Sara was startled, she began to tighten her vigilance on the tattooed man. It turns out the appearance, thought and behavior of this man is a package.

"You .. don't love Alana? What ...."

"Sara, not all feelings express love. Sometimes you admire someone but don't feel in love. I just need a woman, no time to love" the man said.

And Sara catches there's a different highlight from Stephen's eyes. "You're lying, your eyes don't say honesty!"

Stephen brought his face closer and Sara turned her head back. "You?! What are you doing?!"

"Look carefully at my eyes!"

"For what?! Your black eyes are ugly!"

Stephen groaned, he caught Sara's wrist and stopped the woman's movement.

"You wouldn't know the meaning of love without a sacrifice, Sara. Fight if you want to get true love."

Although not getting rough treatment as happened on the ship at that time, still confined himself in a narrow room made Sara feel stuffy.

His hands and feet were still tied with long chains whose ends were outside and held by guards. The lighting in the room was minimal as only one light bulb was dim.

The food was made potluck and Sara had no taste. Stephen's words made her rethink everything that had happened.

Sara lowered her head, she held the chain in her hand. As soon as the sadness approached, he felt himself to be pitied.

Moreover, the scar on his body made him truly pity. Sara did not want to cry now but her tears could not be dammed anymore.

Once the stuffing comes out, the clear water slides profusely. No one wants it in this world. Now Max, the man who said he wouldn't let go has disappeared.

He even promised to find me wherever I went and wherever I hid, why can't he keep his promise now? Is Max a person who likes to break promises?

Sara shook her head strongly. He still has a little faith. Max does renege on his promise of not touching Alana, but there are some promises the man keeps. And Sara can't claim the side.

Maybe he was trying to find me, yeah, he must be looking for me. I can't be so bad thinking about her. He's the only one who can save me from this cruel man.

Sata smiled at the thought of his freedom from that terrifying prison. The sound of the door opening made him look.

"You remember your man?" Stephen laughed, "He's not coming. I've blocked his access to this country."

Sara did not say, in silence she hoped it was just talk. Max must have had a way to get away with it in a sneaky way.

"I brought you some food. Claudia, bring me that food!"

Sara remained unresponsive, she stared at the white wall before her. And someone's footsteps came in.

"With him to eat, I heard he couldn't eat by himself. I have things to do" Stephen told a man named Claudia.

"Si, Signore."

"Treat him well, Claudia. He's a precious thing I have."

After saying that, Stephen came out and completely abandoned them.

"Senora, I know you're sad. Pretend to be strong until the end, everything will be done quickly."

Sara looked at someone who turned out to be the little boy. "You're Claudia?"

"You can say it like that" the little boy replied.

"How old are you? Since when do you work here?"

"Eight years."

Sara nodded. "Do you know the name of the food you brought?"

"It's Paella, Senora."

"Senora? You know I'm Spanish?"

"I also know who you are, Senora. Eat, I have something to show you" said the boy.

"I'm not hungry, just show me what you've got" Sara replied indifferently.

And unexpectedly, the little boy showed his identity. "My name is Kladius, I know Senor Max. This is what he gave you."

Cladius gave her a small folded piece of paper and put it in Sara's palm.

"I hope you believe there's a second chance, Senora. Don't waste your life bearing sorrow here."

And Cladius left Sara without accompanying her to eat.

Sara weighed in her heart, what to do with the crumpled paper.

But curiosity overcame him.

'Please, just trust me this time. I'll pick you up, honey. '

Without feeling the tears were dry it returned to the river. Sarah wept and shed her tears over the food that Claudius had brought.

I'll believe you this time. And I hope you don't break your promise anymore.
