The mind that wandered far away added to the rhythm of his heartbeat. Sara felt her chest cavity tight, coupled with Max's happy smile when she saw the female figure calling out to her.
There was a sense of unwillingness in her heart, her husband smiling for another woman. Can it be selfish? Sara doesn't want to share anything with Max, it's all hers.
However, he soon realizes that Max does not love him. So, should he be selfish? The woman he believed to be Alana belonged to Max, they loved each other.
While he is just like a chaff that will disappear when blown by the wind. It is meaningless and inappropriate to have what is not his.
"Darling, you're daydreaming again."
A soft kiss felt on his lips. Inwardly, he cursed himself who could never resist Max's charm. All the words spoken from the man's lips were like a poison that killed his entire conscious nerve.
"Darling? Hey, what's wrong with you? Look at me," Max gently pinta.
"Hm, sorry, I'm hallucinating" he replied as he stared at the blue bead.
He pretended to smile to cover up his grief. "You haven't got any clothes on, Max."
"Please get it for me."
The woman got up to walk-in closet, opened her husband's closet. For a moment he was pensive again.
What am I supposed to do now? If Max really dumped me, would there still be a comfortable home for me to live in? Peter doesn't want me, now Max has the woman he loves. I'll definitely be a wasted woman, with no one to care about.
"You're so dreamy, I'll punish you again for that, honey."
Sara was shocked, so she picked up a Max shirt and gave it to her.
Max frowned in wonder, why there is a color of such a shirt in his closet. "Why pink?"
"Huh?! I don't know" Sara replied nervously. "Maybe .. may belong to your lover."
Again, the man was astonished. Which lover, he thought. To her knowledge, she had never told Sara about the woman she had been her lover.
Whatever, don't want to take a headache, Max just wear it. "Maybe," he said.
Hearing that, Sara's heart throbbed in pain. I don't know what happened, he doesn't understand anymore. His mind again floated far away, flying high in the wind. Hope sweet reality comes and embraces it. Hugging and guarding it tightly like a pearl inside a clam.
"Dream again" said Max again to kiss his lips. "Something bothers you?"
Holding back her nervousness, Sara exhaled softly. "Nothing, just missing someone."
"Hm? Somebody? Who'sis that? A lady? Or another guy, huh?"
Max's furious barrage of questions took Sara a step back.
Those blue eyes stared intently as if they wanted to split their bodies. Moreover, Max's hand now gripped his upper arm, Sara shrieked.
Whatisthis? Why did he suddenly change? Wasn't he still smiling triumphantly? Wh why? What the hell's going on?
"Aww ... Max, you hurt me," he said as he felt the grip grow stronger.
"Say! Tell me who you're thinking about!" shouting Max.
"Eh?"
Taking it slow, Sara understood. Her husband is a sensitive person when talking about other men. The affectionate call at that time for Edwinpun forbidden. Is this time also forbidden to think of even missing another man?
"Tell me who you miss!" max's bluff was louder when Sara was still silent.
"Nobody."
Max can't control his emotions, he claps Sara's arm even stronger until she tears.
"Who's the guy you're thinking of?! How dare you think of someone other than me!"
Sara was silent, now she understood. If the answer is not satisfactory, surely he will continue to be tortured by the grip and sharp gaze.
"Mama ...," she said slowly.
Slowly, Max's anger subsided. It softened her gaze and pulled Sara in a cuddle.
"You can't miss another man. No, even to think about it, I don't allow you to."
For a moment, the woman's cry broke. He returned Max's embrace tighter. The pain on his shoulder slowly disappeared due to Max's touch and rubbing on his head.
"Don't ever think of missing anyone but me. I'm your husband and all you have to do is have in mind me. You got it, honey?"
In her arms, Sara nodded slowly. He poked his head in the recess of Max's neck and inhaled the scent of lavender there to gain calmness.
"I'm sorry, Max."
"Hm, after you paid for making me angry," said Max, pointing to his lips and neck.
The woman was in disbelief. Should he be deceived by the temptations of the devil even though the designated area is tempting and arouses his wild side to action.
Shouldn't Max be the one apologizing to her for making her cry? Why did everything turn to him?
"Sneaky ground," sizzled his lips.
"Quick do! You should get punished for making me angry."
There is no other way to escape the situation. Max's hand was already trapping him on the wall and the faces of the two were very close.
"Max ...."
"Your punishment is increasing."
"Some wait below ...."
"I don't care. Punishment is punishment and must be resolved!"
Knowing that everything will not be on her side, Sara gives up.
"Again! Like you ever did. If not ...."
The threatening tone made him shrink. Defeat sided with him, he could do nothing.

"When did you come?"
"Available earlier. I was waiting for you but never came down, I went into the room and it turns out you were having fun with your wife. And now, I'm tired of waiting here. What have you done?"
Max chuckled as he wrapped his arm around the woman's neck. Jeanne Eustakia, Max's younger sister who works as a prosecutor.
"You know what a married couple does."
"Ck, I didn't expect you to go that far with a woman." Annne squinted her eyes probing the expression of the elder sister. "It looks like your wife is jealous, Max."
The man scrunched his forehead in wonder. "You mean?"
"You're not my brother anymore, you're getting stupid" Anne said.
"Bas a boy" Max said, ruffling Anne's hair. "Where do you know Sara's jealous?"
"Oh, so her name is Sara" Anne muttered as if remembering something. "Who are his parents?"
"Why? Looks like you know my wife."
"I asked out of curiosity. There's no other reason."
"You can ask him directly."
"Your wife hasn't come down yet" said Anne. "You haven't told me the chronology of your marriage, brother."
"You're very curious?"
"Of course, who is the sister who is not curious about her brother's sudden marriage. You're still a bitch, brother."
"Hm, thank you, I know I'm handsome. I love you."
Anne slammed hard, hugging her sister.
"Why didn't you tell me about your marriage?"
"You're busy."
"I came right away when Mommy told me that you miss me. How can I not come on your wedding day?"
Max chuckles. He kissed the top of Anne's head and it was accidentally seen by someone who had just descended.
"It just happened. Don't be mad, ok? You know I'm worried about you. If you're tired, what about your job?"
The more his footsteps approached, his heart felt crushed squeezed by invisible hands. Sara could not see Max and the woman hugged.
Especially hearing Max's words that are very attentive to the woman. For a moment Sara hesitated, did she not realize that all Max's treatment of her was fake?
Every touch and word of the man seemed to convince her that she was a very appreciated wife. Without her knowing if the man who became her husband had such a side just to make her feel different.
"You're disappointing me, Max. I'm your only one, but you did that to me."
Sara's feet stopped stepping, with all her might she held back the tears that were about to come down. His hands clenched together with the hunting breath.
Should I just go now? There is no hope for me in this house. Max's woman is back and they're making out here.
Having Anne's elbow in her stomach, Max turned his head and got an unusual look from his wife.
"Darling, join us" Max said.
Sara was reluctant, but her legs involuntarily approached.
"Sit next to me!" pinta Max when he realized his wife was going to sit away from him.
"No, this is my place" Anne strongly denied. He put his arm around Max's stomach. "Darling, why did you give him a place by your side?"
"Hm? A-"
"Shut up! You're gonna play me? I said no, which means he can't sit next to you!"
Max frowned in wonder, since when did his sister turn fiercely like that. Moreover, his head was already on his shoulders. And that 'honey' call, what does it mean?
"Honey ..," called Max to his down-on-his-luck wife.
Sarah silently did not answer because she thought the call was for the woman next to her husband, the woman she considered Alana.
"I'm your lover, Max. Why do you call him baby?" anne's protest was unacceptable.
"A-"
"Don't say anything! Are you really playing tricks on me and having another woman while I'm gone? You're a jerk, Max!"
Max was astonished. Whatisthis? thought. Anne's slightly different attitude was puzzling to her.
Without hearing anything, Sara got up from her place and ran up the stairs with a trembling body. His legs were limp, losing energy to simply run faster. He ignored Max's call telling him to come down.
After Sara's departure, Anne's laughter broke. He held his stomach which felt cramped.
"Your wife is funny, sister. Look at his expression. He's holding back jealousy."
As if sober, Max flanked his sister's neck and pinched her ear.
"She must be crying again, Anne. You're outrageous!"
Anne's laughter has not stopped. He enjoyed every expression of Sara holding back every feeling.
"Don't leave your wife so cute and innocent, sister. He loves a jerk like you sincerely. Different from the female fox you introduced me to."
"Love?" parrot Max does not believe it.
