Two men dressed in all black were sitting casually by the beach that was not too crowded. Sunglasses are also perched on their pointed noses.
The owner of the blue bead exhaled white smoke from his mouth when he finished sucking the nicotine object in his hand.
"What are we going to do next, Senor?"
Max stared at the vast ocean. The afternoon breeze made him calm. With the waves that become music in his ears.
"Stephen didn't kill me, which means he wasn't after me. It seemed like there was something he was hiding and perhaps it had to do with the events of that time."
"You're not gonna do anything dangerous, are you? Thompson is not easy to deal with" Alex said worriedly.
Max chuckles, he's back smoking that cigarette. "Maybe he was preparing a special surprise to welcome me. I'm going to wait while on my honeymoon with my wife here" Max explained with a smile.
The man in the ash looked at Max intensely. Then chuckle softly. "You said it well, Senor. Do I need to prepare anything?"
"No, you don't have to bother me about this. You just need to find out why Stephen kidnapped my wife. I'm not leaving until I find out something about this incident, as well as the kidnap motive back then."
"Okay, Senor." Alex nodded in understanding. "And there was a friend of Senora who called to the mansion to ask her availability to join traveling with them. What do you think, Senor?"
Max silent. Recalling his promise, the man in blue shook his head weakly.
"A lot has happened lately, I think he really needs a vacation. But now that we're still stuck here, I'll take another time to have fun with him."
As Alex was about to open his mouth, a sneering grin on Max's lips undoes his intentions.
"Are you and the girl in further contact? You seem very enthusiastic about calling," teased Max.
Alex turned his face away, he looked nervous. "You said something impossible, Senor. No male female relationships, I don't like them."
"You don't like it but you're very nervous right now. Yeah, I got it. Lies are delayed honesty. I'll wait for the good news, and you'd better get married soon" Max said.
The man beside him put on a flat look. He didn't want to be bothered with the silliness Max said.
"I'm getting married, Senor, but not yet."
"When then?"
"When you have children."
Max laughed mockingly, he had just planted the seed this morning and was not necessarily successful.
"What do you do if I have a child soon?"
"I'll find a lover."
"Ck, you do like to run away from this question. Just wait if I get you in touch with him."
Alex turns the eyeball lazily, not out of fear of Max's threat, but lazier because the man takes care of his personal problems.
"That's impossible" Alex said.
Max chuckles. He took out a photograph and showed it to Alex.
"What did he do to you?"
"To get off the helicopter and stop the search. He also stopped Elijah's men who were flocking to find you, Senor."
"It turns out he's got power here" Max murmured like the wind. "Did he say something else?"
Alex was doubtful. But he spoke after escaping his gaze in the other direction. "Respair because a lot of blood dripped because of the wolf's actions. And also permission to get special treatment to enter Madrid."
Max laughed in disbelief. "He's very greedy. Jesus, Silver, did she have many such requests when she saved your wife?"
After finishing his cigarette, Max got up from the beach. "Do as he asks. Regarding the blood that came out because of that wolf, I'll take care of that later."
"Okay, Senor."
"A very childish way of playing," Max murmured in disbelief.

His brown Netra stared at the back that was sitting sweetly on the beach. Sometimes his lips carve a smile, the man has become intact of his.
But Max's ban was heeded. He promises inwardly he won't fight Max if what the man says is for good. Sara smiled again. Perhaps today his lips were unceasingly curved upwards.
Every second he spent in that place was very happy. Just looking at Max's back from a distance had tempted him.
Their struggle this morning was very deep in Sara's mind. His cheeks flushed back in light of the incident. Max did it many times until his body was hard to move.
That's why Sara was in her room all day and didn't come out just to breathe the afternoon air on the beach.
When she saw Max standing up, Sara immediately closed the curtain so as not to be caught peeking. It's embarrassing if she gets caught and imagines Max will tease her all out if that happens.
"Gosh, I'm really in love," Sara muttered and patted her on the cheek with both hands.
Not long after, the sound of the door opening surprised him. And Max who came in with that casual dress style kept Sara from blinking.
Since when did he come? Wasn't it still on the beach? Is he telepathic?
"Speek me, huh?"
Max came closer and hugged her tightly. Sara smiled blandly, apparently caught.
"You seen him?"
"I have eyes to see my wife. Wh why? Afraid I'm leaving?"
Sara snorted in annoyance, the man's confidence had returned. And Sara's sure there's nothing bad she's talking about with Alex.
"Of course I'm scared. You fucked me and you have to pay for it with your life."
Max chuckles, he kisses his wife's open back. She did forbid Sara to wear the covered clothes again, and finally the woman only wore an open dress that was specially prepared for her.
"I promise. You're the only person in my heart, there's no reason to leave you, honey."
"It should have been so," said Sara weakly.
He was troubled by the words of Stephen at that time who said Max had another reason to marry him, not purely as repayment of debt.
Sara turns and hugs Max. She put her head on her husband's stomach.
"I'm afraid you're leaving me, Max. My mom broke her promise to me, but you can't do that to me. You're the only one who cares about me now" Sara softened and tightened her arms around her husband's stomach.
Not wanting to cry, Sara closed her eyes. He rubbed his face on Max's black t-shirt to keep his tears from coming out.
"I have promised before God that I will always be there for you when you are hard and happy, when you are sick and healed, together for eternity" Max said.
And it made Sara recall the process of chanting the sacred promise on the night of their wedding. Could it be that the man actually spoke it from the heart?
"You?!" Sara looked up to see those blue eyes looking at her.
"My promise is not just a joke. You understand, honey, you've been mine forever since that night. Whatever happens, we are bound in the sacred bonds of marriage and cannot be broken. Don't you feel it?"
Max cupped the face that was staring at him without that blink. He gave a brief peck on his wife's forehead.
"I've been steadily stepping in with you ever since. Although my feelings are not as deep as they are now, I have seen you as someone who will truly change me and take me out of regret."
Understanding that, Sara gulped a rough saliva. He nodded and turned his face away. He's not ready to accept Max's confession yet.
"I understand. You treat me well, that could be proof of that. Please carry," said Sara reached out her hand asking to be carried.
Max obeyed his wife's wishes. "You should know something, honey. I married you not just because of Peter's debt, but for another reason."
Sara stiffens. He forgot the fact that Max couldn't be stopped. "Can you stop talking? I'm tired."
"You should listen to me, honey."
"But I want to sleep."
"No, I don't want you to hear it from someone else and assume I don't want to tell you. You have to hear the truth from me."
"I believe in you. You can tell it another time."
"I want it now."
