If you ask me why I love nature, the answer is as simple as you think. Nothing is as soft as water, as smooth as air and as warm as the sun. You can create happiness by enjoying the scent of nature, lying in it and throwing away all your anxiety.

Sara O'connor

***

Sara's eyes moved uneasily even though a breath of fresh wind touched her. He's been quiet a lot, Max's decision to bring him here was to punish him.

The man was extremely ruthless, allowing himself to be on the verge of fear. His legs were shaking but he was still trying to walk in Max's footsteps.

Sara felt this situation just like it had happened to her thirteen years ago. Peter throws him in the wolf's den regardless of whether he lives or dies.

At that time, he only wished death had picked him up early. He took her to meet her mother who was in Paradise. And before the wild wolves pounced on him, someone came and helped him.

"Sara?"

Sara looked up, but Max was behind her.

"Why are you behind me again?"

"You're daydreaming, honey."

Sara lowered. "Sorry, are you going to dump me in the wolf den again?"

"About? Have you ever been thrown into a wolf den? Who did it?" Max deliberately searches for her with questions, hoping Sara is open about her past story.

"No-no, I mean you brought me here and let me be among the wolves, I thought you'd do it again" Sara said.

The first arrival, Max lets him sit among the wild animals, although Max hugs him tightly still the fear gnaws at him.

"Are you lying?"

"where possible. I dare not do it."

Not daring to look into those blue eyes, Sara shifted her gaze. And at that moment, a wolf came from the direction of the bushes.

For a moment the feather bristled. He clenched his hands tightly, dispelling the approaching fear. Seeing the animal approaching, Sara slowly clung to Max's chest.

"Max, I'm scared," he said. He hugged Max's waist.

The man didn't budge, he let Sara do whatever she wanted. Even as the woman's hand pulled her shirt up, she held her breath in.

"What are you doing?"

"Eh? Oh, lend me your gun," he said softly in Max's ear.

"Why?"

"Don't ask first, I'm shaking."

Max frowned in wonder, not usually Sara spoke when frightened. Without asking any more, he picked up the gun he had prepared earlier.

Sara's hand received the thing with a tremble, but in order to save the wild animal that came with the blood-filled body, she strengthened her heart.

"Sara?"

"You surprised me, Max."

"What are you gonna do?"

"Shut up!" furious Sara.

Hugging Max, he checked the caliber inside the gun. After confirming that the bullet was still plentiful, he pulled the trigger.

The lion who was running after the wounded wolf roared loudly. Her roar echoed within the forest, her long and pointed canine teeth were so terrifying that Sara grimaced. His shot apparently missed and it made the king of the forest angry and hunt him.

Max, hearing that, tries to turn around, but Sara holds him back.

"Don't you, you're gonna make him run. I have to make sure my shot is on target or not. If you haven't died in the third shot, you can take over."

When the king of the forest ran over to them, Sara immediately shot him again and hit his front leg.

"Oh, I managed to knock it out" Sara shouted after the animal fell.

A smile rose on his face, and it stunned Max. In his heart, he praised the beautiful woman who became his wife. However, in an instant, a shadow of Alana's smile erased her admiration for Sara.

"Max!" sara shouted hysterically.

"What?"

Not having a chance to answer, Sara pulled the trigger back and shot again the still-jobbing lion.

Exhaling a sigh of relief, Sara sat down limp. His leg joints seemed to lose energy, his hands trembling.

"It's good not to pounce on you, Max. I'm so scared ...."

Max immediately looked back, and he was surprised to see the lion sprawled. Blood came out of his head.

"You're great, Sara," he said.

"You saved Blue's herd."

"Who else is the name of the wounded?"

"Lucky."

"Oohh .... I thought luck would take my side" Sara muttered.

After calming his wife who was trembling in fear for successfully killing the animal, Max takes Sara to a place they have not had time to visit. A cave that became a wolf's nest.

"Why did you bring me here?"

"You must meet them."

Sara who was afraid of the wolf retreated in fear. He hugged his body tightly and intended to escape from there.

"Hey, they won't hurt you, you saved Lucky and they'll thank you."

Sara shook her head strongly, she retreated slowly as a wolf approached.

"There's no way they're gonna thank you, you're gonna let me get pounced on by that animal. You brought me here to be punished, didn't you? Who knew you'd make me eat this wild wolf."

"They won't attack without cause, Sara. You don't have to be afraid. About your punishment, it's too easy if I make you my wolf's lunch. Besides, your flesh won't taste good, your body is too thin."

Gaining the ridicule, Sara poked her lips. His feet that were about to step toward Max came to a halt when he saw the wolf sitting under the man's feet.

"Max, let's go home."

The man chuckled. "You still scared?"

Sara nodded. He squeezed the shirt he was wearing as Max and the wolf approached.

"Don't come any closer!"

Ignoring her screams, Max kept getting closer and it made Sara retreat slowly.

"Max ..., please don't come any closer ...."

"You scared? Why did you save Lucky?"

Sara shook her head and continued to retreat. "I-I can't bear to see him bleed ...."

"What about the lion? Didn't he bleed after he was shot?"

"He wants to eat the wolf."

"You're not afraid of him, Sara. You saved him for liking him, didn't you?"

Sara remained shaken and continued to retreat while Max stepped forward. "You misunderstood. I saved him out of pity."

"No, you like it, Sara. You're willing to hold back your fear when you shoot that lion."

"No, I'm just practicing my shooting skills on moving objects. Deborah taught me well, nothing to do with wolves."

The man's lips smirked thinly, he noticed there was doubt in his wife's brown eyes. "Say the reason you saved Lucky. You should have killed him instead of saving."

Sara kept shaking her head, she did not want to open the story of her past with the wolf that once bit her.

Very far he stepped back with Max continuing to follow, at the end of his step he slipped.

"Max!!" he shouted as he fell on the thick grass.

In fact, the grass was not a grass that could withstand his weight. He fell on the grass and rolled. The grass-covered area was apparently tilted, therefore Sara fell down.

Max, unable to catch his wife's hand, tries to find a loophole. He looked at the place where Sara fell.

"Damn, the place is very high. I hope you're okay, honey."

Concerns were in his eyes, trying to contact Alex for help, apparently the handsome man did not pick up the phone.

"Damn you Alex," he said.

He regretted that he had frightened his wife with a wolf, causing her to retreat and fall.

Realizing that the wolf that was with him was no more, Max smiled. "You're the best, Woles."

That is how great the animals that often live in groups. With wide strides, Max returned to the cave where the wolves were. He gave orders to them.

"Find my wife now!"
