The atmosphere of the highway in a small city that is now starting to develop into a big city. It was crowded with many vehicles lined up in front of a portal cross. They were all waiting for the train to pass by and ended the roar of signals from the railway monitoring post. Sound signals indicate the train is about to pass.
The clock has been pointed at almost 6 pm, even the sound of azan magrib has been reverberating all over the city. Vishnu was still stuck in the middle of the traffic jam without being able to escape. All he could do was patiently wait for the transportation of a million people to pass.
The thunderous sound of the train cars was heard loudly on the sidelines of the sound of honking each other. The vibration also felt jerking the ground area around the train track that passed through him.
Vishnu sighed, letting all the cars and vehicles around his car run first in order to unravel the congestion when the portal re-opened. Some drivers do choose to wait their turn to run the vehicle rather than having to fight for each other's place. This atmosphere has become an everyday sight in this city.
Until Vishnu felt a shock to his car, more precisely the back of the car felt something nudging hard.
He quickly opened the car window and turned his head back. Immediately gave a sharp eye to the pink helmeted girl who was riding a milk-brown matic motorbike exposed to the reflection of several lights that lit up about the motor body.
“Ma-sorry, Mas,” said the girl nervously with a few times lowered her head.
"How is this?" the inner girl panicked from having to experience that mess.
Vishnu snorted annoyed, he was not that sweet man who just silently accepted a mistake.
“Hey, where do you have eyes?!” vishnu shouted annoyed, still staring intently at the girl behind the right corner of his car.
“Inadvertently, Mas,” answered loudly biting her lower lip in panic and feeling guilty, the girl also displayed a slightly awkward smile.
“She accidentally, Mas,” always middle-aged fathers with a typical city accent that helps defend the girl. “Partian rame also.”
Vishnu sighed at hearing that remark, he did not want to know whatever the conditions were.
The roar of the engine and the earthy horn added to the noise, protesting Vishnu's car that had not moved at all amid the traffic jam. This is one of the things that Vishnu does not like.
Vishnu immediately looked back and flicked his fingers for the girl who grazed his car to follow him.
Vishnu began to run his car slowly, spreading the crowd that he began to overcome. Several motorcycles and cars overtake from the right and left side of the car.
Vishnu found it difficult to find a place to park his car closest to the location and solve the problem with the woman who hit the back of his car.
After getting a location that he thought was comfortable, he pulled the car over. Looking from the rear view mirror the girl followed him from behind. Vishnu smiled at a glance, it turns out that the girl dared to take responsibility and did not run away.
Vishnu immediately opened the car door and got out of there, observing the state of the traffic of vehicles on the highway that had begun to deserted. He stepped firmly with a sharp gaze towards the girl who was parking the motor behind his car. The girl immediately took off the helmet, hung it in the rearview mirror and immediately got off her bike
“Ngot bad you know, Mas,” comments the girl with a thick Javanese accent while observing the part of the car that was stamped.
“Stay blisters, you know how much my car is worth?” vishnu replied in a cold tone.
“But not bad, really. Scuffed and peyot just a little,” said the girl defended herself, He stood up and looked at Vishnu after a while squatting observing and fingered the car paint with his hand fingers.
“If you were me, what would you say when your car was hit by someone?” ask Vishnu leaning his body into the car body.
“Anu, Mas. Euhm .. asking for damages. Cuman, look who crashed too, Mas,” replied the girl stammered.
“What's your name, we go to the workshop now,” take Vishnu while upholding his body and walking towards the steering wheel.
“Mas, sorry I can't. I work, Mas,” reject it while walking closer while running small.
“You want to try to find a reason?” decak Vishnu flipped the body.
“Oath, Mas. No lie, it's too late in fact.” The girl approached and stood before Vishnu. The young girl looked at the clock that was coiled around her wrist.
“What's your job?” vishnu asked looking at the girl closely.
“Ehm, spanking, Mas.” The girl smiled thinly.
“Ngeles? Smart to avoid people?” ask Vishnu seriously.
“Not ... that's not the point,” firmly the girl flicked her hand by shaking her head quickly, “Teacher les, Mas,” obviously seriously.
“Ck! What's your name?” asked Vishnu put on a cold face annoyed, feeling this girl was just looking for an excuse to avoid trouble.
“Almira, Mas.”
“Huh?” Almira looked confused.
"What does this have to do with my age?" almira grumbled inwardly feeling annoyed herself.
The girl was silent unwilling to reply when she got a question that clearly had nothing to do with their current problem.
“Me?!” ask Vishnu again with a sharp tone.
“40 years!” the girl did not lose.
“Befit your face like grandma peyot,” hiss Vishnu cold and turn the body step towards the door of his car.
Vishnu was very upset to get a perfunctory answer from a girl who was clearly seen from any side must be twenty-five years old. He just chose to leave her. After all he also felt strange, why should asking age that clearly looked so embarrassing to him as well.
“Then, our business how?” almira shouted at Vishnu's back walking away from him.
“This time you survived,” replied Vishnu turned his head, “But remember! Do not let us meet again, or you will pay dearly at our next meeting,” added Vishnu thinning his lips still looking annoyed Almira.
“Mem-pay expensive?” almira asked nervously, she felt vague by the man's actual speech which made her quite surprised by this accidental meeting again.
“Yes, you will pay dearly for our next meeting. So be careful, do not deal with me again after this, or you will not be able to escape and will deal with me forever,” threatened Vishnu staring sharply, he tried to scare the girl in front of him.
Vishnu could see the girl's face turning into pias. Almira's pale face was very clear in understanding the threat.
Almira looked at Vishnu with eyes as if he did not believe in his sudden attitude to be a cruel man.
“Is he not that person? I'm grateful that I've been wrong,” said Almira in heart.
Almira's feeling became very uneasy, her heart pounding even more. He wished that this man was not the cold and stiff man he had met in those days.
“May I be wrong,” he said again calming his feelings.
Suddenly raindrops come to wet the earth, the swift water that falls can hurt the skin, also hurt when it hits the body. The two men soon separated. Vishnu immediately got into the car and closed the door quickly. While Almira immediately ran small towards the direction of the motorbike and immediately turned on the engine.
Heavy rain he could not fight, quickly Almira left the place and looking for the role of shops on the side of the road to shelter.
Vishnu rubbed his wet face with his palm. Looking from the rear view mirror, the girl's motorbike was already running past her. While running his car back, Vishnu turns on the radio and chooses his favorite channel.
It was almost the final verse of the song had been played, and the sound of his DJ was melodious greeting the loyal listeners of the radio including himself. Vishnu smiled to himself listening. This is one way to get rid of loneliness.
“Still with Melody FM. You guys stuck in the rain? Amazing yes ... exposed to raindrops both? Uhui .. romantic.” The sound of a cheerful radio announcer seemed to force Vishnu to curl his lips, smiling to feel ridiculous.
“When it rains, it's time to pray. Many do'a get caught when it rains. What's good is your do'a, Melody FM's friends. Don't let a bad do'a get done because of the rain tonight. Speech is do'a yes buddy, so be careful in speaking. Okay, one special song for all of you .. from the Greenhouse Effect titled December, welcome to listen. Stay tune, yes ... in our beloved Chanel, Melody FM.”
The song accompanies Vishnu's journey to his home. A quiet house, as quiet as his heart.
“Pronunciation is Do'a? what I said about paying dearly for the next meeting with the girl, what can I call a do'a?" his murmur recalled his overtime threat to the girl he had just met earlier.
Vishnu smiled faintly and immediately shook his head softly, dispelling any unreasonable thoughts for him.
