Short Stories Before Bed (Horror)
Tiger Voice

As the night approaches the height of its silence, in a small, remote village, a harrowing story has spread from generation to generation. The story revolves around a creepy voice, a tiger sound that is heard every night Friday midnight. Before we immerse ourselves deeper into this story, we must understand the origins of the village and its horrific history.

The village, known as Madepura Village, is located in the middle of a dense forest that is always heralded with mystical stories. Isolated from modern civilization, Madepura is a village living in uncertainty, besieged by a seemingly mysterious forest. The villagers have lived a simple life, relying on agricultural and hunting livelihoods.

However, there was one aspect of this village that made it very unique and terrifying. Every Friday night at midnight, terrible tiger sounds would be heard. The villagers called it "The Friday Night Tiger Voice." This voice echoed around the forest, and was heard so clearly in the middle of the dark night.

The beginning of this story is not yet clear, however, the villagers always believed that this was a curse they inherited from their ancestors. According to legend, a century ago, in this forest there was the tomb of a very evil king. The king, known as King Bhairava, was a ruthless and power-hungry figure. He is believed to have the ability to transform into a ferocious great tiger.

When King Bhairava died, his body was buried in the forest, and the villagers prayed that his evil spirit would not disturb them. However, the chilling tiger sounds heard every Friday night are considered proof that the curse of King Bhairava is still alive.

The villagers of Madepura live in deep fear every time Friday night approaches. They knew that the moment the tiger's voice appeared, it was a sign that something terrible was about to happen. Young children are frightened by this story, and adults undergo special rituals to protect themselves from doom.

One night, in that humble house in the village, there lived a woman named Sita. Sita is a young widow who lives alone after her husband died a few years ago. He was the only person in the village who did not seem to be affected by the monstrous tiger's voice. Despite hearing the stories about the curse, Sita never looked scared.

Friday night's macabre tiger sounds were heard again as Sita sat on her porch. His eyes bristled, and he looked as if he was looking forward to something. His fellow peers often asked him why he was not afraid of the voice. Sita simply smiled and said, "I have my own secrets."

That night, under the moonlight, Sita walked into the forest. The villagers who saw him commented on his courage. They feel that Sita has a special way of protecting herself from the curse of King Bhairava. Some even suspect that she has ties to the supernatural creatures that inhabit the forest.

However, what they did not know was that Sita had personal reasons to dare to face the monstrous tiger voice. A few years ago, when her husband was alive, they decided to embark on a dangerous hunting adventure inside the Madepura forest. They want to prove that the story of King Bhairava is just a myth.

However, the adventure turns into a nightmare when they encounter something far more terrifying than they imagined. They found King Bhairava's tomb and tried to open it, hoping to find the treasure that was supposedly buried with the evil king. However, this action only disturbs the evil spirits, and King Bhairava appears in the form of a ferocious tiger.

Sita realizes that she has killed the creature, and since then, she feels responsible for keeping King Bhairava in her tomb. That was the reason why he dared to approach the forest every Friday night. He felt that only he could stop this curse.

For several months, Sita continued to walk into the forest on Friday night to ensure that King Bhairava's tomb was not disturbed. The chilling tiger's voice might be frightening, but to Sita, it was a reminder of her obligation. He might be the only person who knows how to fight the creature if it should appear again.

One night, as Sita walks into the forest as usual, something unexpected happens. He heard a louder tiger than usual, and it seemed to be getting closer. Sita knows that this is not what it was before. Something bad is going to happen, and he has to be prepared.

As he reached the tomb of King Bhairava, he saw something that amazed him. The tomb opened, and King Bhairava in the form of a huge and ferocious tiger stood before him. However, this time, the tiger did not attack him. Instead, the creature simply stared at him with eyes filled with confusion and pain.

Sita knows that the creature is the spirit of King Bhairava who is still tormented. He approached the creature carefully and spoke to her. "What do you want?" ask Sita. The creature just howled, and Sita could hear the pain in the voice of the creature.

Sita realizes that King Bhairava is a poor creature, caught between life and death. He decided to try to help the spirit find peace. In the next few weeks, he came every Friday night to the tomb and spoke with King Bhairava. He listened to stories about the life and death of King Bhairava, about the crimes and wrongs he committed.

Sita tries to comfort the creature and talks about the good she can do in life after death. He also tried to make peace with the ancestors and spirits he hurt in his life. Over time, King Bhairava began to respond and stopped the terrible tiger voice that always haunted the village.

When the villagers realized that the terrible tiger's voice had died down, they were amazed by Sita's bravery. They wanted to know his secret, and Sita humbly told him of his experience. They began to respect and appreciate his efforts to tame the evil spirit of King Bhairava.

Friday night was no longer a frightening specter in Madepura Village. A terrifying tiger voice had been heard for the last time, and the village was finally free from the curse that had haunted them for many years. Sita becomes a village hero, and her story becomes a legend that will be told to future generations.
