Bernard's grandfather
Right in the middle of a dark and silent night, in a remote village, lived an old man named Bernard. Bernard is an elderly man, but still remains active and healthy. However, there was something strange about Bernard's grandfather. Every night, when everyone was asleep, he would go out and hold tightly to a log.
No one knows why Bernard's grandfather did this. His neighbors can only guess and make various speculations. Some say that the log was a source of magical power for Bernard's grandfather. Others thought that he might be enveloped by darkness not seen at night.
The existence of Bernard's grandfather is increasingly frightening for the villagers. They become more curious and alert. One day, a brave teenager named David decides to unravel the mystery behind the strange habits of Bernard's grandfather. He stalked the old man when he brought back a log.
From a distance, David saw Bernard's grandfather standing in the middle of the field with a serious face. He felt an evil presence around him. The grandfather started to hold the log tightly and lifted it into the air. Suddenly, a strong wind blew and the sky became pitch black.

The elder revealed that the latest victim of an evil spirit attack was a young girl named Anna. David understood that he had to protect this village from such threats. He gathered the people in the village and told them what he found.
The next night, Bernard's grandfather came back out with his tightly held wooden trunk. But this time he was not alone. The villagers joined him, carrying logs and other objects they had collected.
They gathered in the middle of the field, preparing to face the threat of evil spirits. A dark and gripping atmosphere ruled the village. However, with the power they have together, they managed to drive away the evil spirit.
Since that night, life in the village was safe and peaceful again. Grandfather Bernard was awarded for his dedication to protecting the village from harm. He told them that the log he was carrying was a relic from his ancestor that had magical powers to ward off evil spirits.
The story of Bernard's grandfather and his wooden trunk became a new legend in the village. The village children then grow up with a tense and amazed story about the struggle against evil spirits.
And thus, the horror story of the grandfather carrying a log in the middle of the night was finally over. The village again felt peace and security, thanks to the courage and wisdom of Bernard's grandfather.
