Short Stories Before Bed (Horror)
Magic Phone

In a remote village surrounded by dense forest, there is a public telephone left by the times. The people in the village knew him as the "Magic Phone". According to the story, the phone was said to have been built by an evil shaman in antiquity. The phone has magical powers that can make the caller suddenly disappear without a trace.

No one in the village dared to use the phone, because no one dared to hang their lives on a creepy device. The Magic Phone stood alone in the middle of the village field, clad in tight cobwebs and looking like it was asleep in a creepy void.

However, one dark and dense night, a young man named Rizal came to the village. He is a young writer who is looking for inspiration for his latest work. Rizal is intrigued by the legend of the Magic Phone and decides to explore the village to find more stories.

With a thumping heart, Rizal tries to get close to the Magic Phone. The sound of his steps broke the silence of the night, and the insects of the night perched on the leaves, watching his actions closely. When Rizal got to the front of the phone, a cold wind ambushed him and his hair bristled. He reached the handle of the phone shakily and began to insert the coin into the crevice of the coin.

Suddenly, the phone lit up with a gloomy bluish light. A rumbling sound from inside the phone filled the dark night. A dark-sounding female voice whispered out from the phone, "If you dare, talk to me. I will grant your wish, but be careful because the payment is life."

Rizal is surprised, but curiosity overcomes his fear. Doubtfully, he stuck his ear to the phone and uttered his most profound wish. Shortly after, the phone went quiet again. Rizal breathed a sigh of relief, convinced that it was all a mere myth.

Since that call, Rizal began to feel a change in his life. Her dreams become more disturbing, with creepy shadows haunting her at night. He felt like someone was following him every step of the way, sneaking in the shadows and entering his sleep, possessing the dream world. Rizal tries to find answers from a local shaman and recounts his experiences with the Magic Phone.

Rizal's journey takes him to a forest he has never explored before. After walking a long distance, he found a cave filled with thick darkness. Without hesitation, Rizal entered the cave and carefully searched for the phone hidden by the shaman.

However, when Rizal managed to find her, an evil voice filled the room. A blazing blue light circled around Rizal, pouring into his soul. He looked at the sinister evil spirit with fiery red eyes, smiling eeriely. "You have fallen into my trap" the spirit said in a hoarse voice.

Rizal looked at the spirit determinedly and said, "I will not fear you! I will break this curse forever!" With that, he picked up the phone and disconnected the connection. The sound of a huge explosion rang out, and Rizal felt himself being thrown out of the cave.

After that, the Magic Phone in the village just disappeared, leaving a normal life back to the villagers. Rizal becomes a living legend in the village and returns to his hobby as a writer with horror stories inspired by his sinister experiences.

The Magic Phone remains a mystery, but the legend continues to evolve in the next generation. Few people know about Rizal's frightening experience and the courage he showed. Until now, no one had dared to approach a pay phone in the village, fearing the same fate as anyone who interfered with the mystical silence that protected the Magic Phone.
