Man Without Face

When the night wind blows against a small town called Purnama, there is a spooky story that haunts its inhabitants. That said, there is a man without a face who always appears on the park chair at exactly 12 pm. His mysterious existence and invisible face became a story that spread rapidly among people.

In the midst of fear and curiosity, a teenager named Rama became curious about the story. Over the past few weeks, he has been reading and finding out more about the legend of the faceless man. His story caught his attention until he decided to find out if there really was something hidden behind this story.

One night, when the clock was showing at 11pm, Rama carefully left his house. Armed with his camera and cell phone, he walked slowly through lonely alleys to a park that was said to be home to this faceless man. When he arrived at the park, the sky was already getting darker and the atmosphere was getting creepy.

Rama felt the air getting colder as he approached the garden chair. He stepped closer and observed the chair carefully. However, at that very instant, he heard footsteps approaching him. Without a second thought, he hid behind a tree to hide his whereabouts. He felt his heart pounding and slowly saw the man in complete black clothes standing right in front of the garden chair.

Rama took a heavy breath as he looked at the figure clearly. However, for his discomfort, the figure really did not have a face. It was like looking at an empty white sheet. But what surprised Rama was, his feet FLOated above the ground and left no trace of anything.

Shocked and frightened, Rama whispers to himself that he should not be heard by the faceless man. But somehow, the figure heard Rama's whisper and immediately turned towards the tree where Rama was hiding. His empty eyes were staring straight at him. Rama awakens from his fear and quickly runs away from the park.

But since then, Rama has been obsessed with the faceless man. He could not forget that blank and mysterious face. Every night, she goes to the park at 12pm in a desperate attempt to stalk the faceless man once again. He wanted to know who the man was and what he was doing in the park chair every night.

Worryingly, Rama shared his experience with his grandmother. The old woman listened seriously and looked at her grandson's eyes with worry. After a moment of thought, the grandmother slowly said, "My granddaughter, the legend comes from the story of our city which is rich in myths and legends. The faceless man is said to be the protective spirit of this city. He shows up at the park every night to make sure that all the citizens of Purnama are safe and awake."

Rama was surprised to hear his grandmother's explanation. No one told him that the faceless man was not a threat. But there were still many questions that haunted his mind. Why does the spirit have no face? And why did he not leave a trace on the ground?

The grandmother continued, "He has no face because he is an invisible guard, invisible to the eyes of ordinary humans. And left no trace on the ground because he was on the border between the human world and the spirit world. The man without the face is guarding our city. When we go through it at night, he watches us closely to ensure our safety."

With the explanation of his grandmother, Rama finally felt relieved. He regretted his previous obsessive attitude and felt inspired. From that night, she stopped visiting the midnight garden chair and began to see the faceless man as her protector.

From then on, Rama felt safer staying at Purnama. He began to understand the importance of heritage myths and legends in their culture. Knowing that there was a spirit protecting their city gave courage and tranquility to the locals.

Until the end of his life, Rama continued to teach the younger generation at Purnama about the faceless man. A spooky story that turns into a tribute to their protective spirit.
