Pocong in the Old Building

Inside the small town located in the mountainous area, there was an old abandoned warehouse. This warehouse is famous among the locals as it is often associated with mystical stories. That said, the warehouse is a residence for fine creatures, especially pocongs.

One night, a group of brave teenagers from the village decide to explore the old warehouse. They are determined to prove the existence of subtle creatures that are said to often appear there. There is Ardi, the brave leader of the group and never afraid of mystical things. Then there is Dika, a girl who is smart and always curious about the mysteries. Then, there is Rian, Ardi's true friend who often follows his friend's crazy ideas. Lastly, there is Maya, a shy and mysterious girl who sometimes looks sensitive to the mystical world.

As the night wore on, the four teenagers approached the old barn, which was lined with tree branches that seemed to protect it. As they entered the warehouse, tension began to be felt. The cold and dark atmosphere made their hair goosebumps. Their bold steps lead them to the cellar of the warehouse.

In the basement, they found various ancient items lying on top of the wooden shelves. Old books, dusty wall clocks, and other objects filled the room. Instantly, Ardi sensed the existence of different energies around them, something that could not be explained with words.

Suddenly, a rumbling sound rang out from the corner of the warehouse. The four teenagers fell silent, staring at each other in fear. Then, they passed through a narrow passageway that would lead them to a deeper basement. Straight from behind the chimney, a pocong appeared and stood in front of them.

All the teenagers were flabbergasted and scared to death. The pocong looked like it had appeared from an unexpected direction, hovering in the air without legs, with a white shroud covering its entire body. However, even though the pocong was terrifying, it did not show any malicious intent to them. The pocong simply stood in front of them with a sharp eye, as if it had a message to convey.

When Maya touches the pocong, a sudden flash of light envelops them. The basement that was dark became bright. As it turns out, the pocong is not a subtle evil creature, but rather the curious spirit of a freedom fighter whose name and services have been forgotten by history.

The spirit of the freedom fighter then tells his life story to Maya and her friends. He was a warrior who died in battle against the invaders during the war of independence. However, his name and sacrifice were never respected and recognized by the local community.

Maya and her friends feel called to honor the warrior's service. They are trying to find out more about the warrior's history and promote his story to the rest of the villagers. They also built a memorial park to capture the name of the long-forgotten warrior.

The story of an old warehouse inhabited by pocongs, it turns out to have a deep and moving meaning. The courage and sensitivity of Maya and her friends have changed society's view of a long-forgotten warrior. With this story, they realized the importance of respecting and remembering the merits of the heroes behind the independence they enjoy today.
