Secret Alit

Secret Alit
The Mystery Behind the Calamity - Part 4

"The grandmother's story is very moving" said I who had been silent since, because my feelings dissolved in the sad story.

"Alit likes to hear ancient stories that can train empathy" I continued, holding my grandmother's arm. "Tomorrow again, Grandma."

Grandma just smiled listening to my babbling. While I want to move to the front yard to take care of the plants.

"Tomorrow mama and papa will go home malem, Kak Luni also has plans to watch with Aciel. So tomorrow I can continue the story about Mr. Big Dipper and Mr. Aman both Grandma until the mallem," I continued.

"Yes, tomorrow the story continues, yes" replied the grandmother.

After school the next day, I went home with Arlo. We stopped by the snack shop near the school as a story companion with grandma later in the afternoon.

"Today I'm both doing the same grandma. The others are on the Malem home. Aciel and Kak Luni want to watch first he said," I told Arlo.

"Kok didn't say? You know that we're watching all four of them" said Arlo.

"Today I want to have a long conversation with my grandmother. Next time, yes" I replied.

"Promise yes" Arlo said spontaneously.

"Yeah", I said.

After returning from the store, Arlo stopped by the house. I went into the kitchen to get some ice from my grandmother.

"Nih... drink the ice first," I said as I thrust a glass of dawet ice.

"Thank you, yes" replied Arlo.

While enjoying a glass of ice dawet, we also talked for a moment to tell the events at school. After that, Arlo returned home not long done.

I hurriedly finished my routine because I wanted to relax while chatting with grandma. When we showed at 5pm, all my work was done. I went over to Grandma and began to seduce her to continue the story.

"Mom, let's go back and sit back on the couch. This is Alit making warm tea" I said as I put a cup of tea on the table. I also put a jar and a plate containing snacks from Arlo to accompany us to tell stories.

Grandma then continued her story.

Big Dipper wants to listen to what Mr. Aman experienced. Apparently, the two people experienced almost the same thing, namely the suffering experienced by their dear children. The difference is, the eldest son of Mr. Aman who received arbitrary treatment, while Mr. Big Dipper watched his youngest son who looked very miserable.

When there was a groaning sound back, Mr. Big Dipper also did not hear it. Maybe Mr. Big Dipper was also drifting in his sadness. It must be a feeling he is very sad to see his favorite child treated arbitrarily. So is Mr. Aman. Moreover, his eldest son was already very much expected to replace him in making a living.

"He was a good and obedient boy. I don't think my son is treated that way. His body was thin and his position was curled up and bowed. Apparently the chair I was sitting in was a human child. Was the incident I saw really real?" Slowly Mr. Aman's tears melted down his cheeks.

The incident made Mr. Aman and Mr. Big Dipper satisfied. The two middle-aged men were crying so hard together. They embrace each other as if they will both bear bad luck together.

In fact, when leaving to go to this store, they eagerly pursue wealth with a variety of beautiful expectations and believe that their efforts will succeed. They seemed enthusiastic during the trip.

Their journey to the beach is not easy to pass. The path is rocky and can only be reached on foot. However, the cool air of the mountain makes them feel steady with his choice. Both are sure, when they come home from the store, the wealth will come soon.

Surely both of them hoped that his family would live with a lot of treasure. Even though they are not poor people, but someone is not aware of the pleasure he has got. That's human greed.

"Sir, if I manage to get a lot of money, I'll buy a car to make my family happy" Aman said on the way to the place.

"I think so too. I will build a big restaurant so that I can earn a lot of money every day," said Mr. Big Dipper.

That was the conversation of the two people in the middle of the journey to the padepokan. That spirit is gone now. After a terrible shadow fell on the two, they changed their minds, lethargic and not excited anymore.

The stone seat looked empty, the stone throne was also empty. Both of them sit on the grass because they are still shadowed with chairs that turned out to be his favorite children. The shadow was still on their minds. How his son groaned in pain to bear the weight of his father's body. They do not think they can experience such unusual things.

Justright. Not long after, there was a car sound indicating that papa and mama had gone home. Not long after, Luni and Aciel also came.

Aciel greets papa, mama, and grandma. I picked up the paper bag that my mother had brought and took the container to put the food she was carrying.

"Aciel eat first yuk, aunt bring satay lontong. Enough for everything" said my mother.

"Well, I've done it already" he replied as he glanced at Luni.

"Udahlah, come..... It's going home a little later" said Luni as she pulled her hand towards the dining table.

After dinner, Aciel returned home.

"Alit, next time we'll watch the four of you, ngajak Arlo," said Aciel.

"Okay, set the time, yes" I replied.

Aciel rushed to the courtyard of his motorcycle parking lot. Luni's sister escorted him to the front porch.

After that, Luni and I went in to clean the tableware. After finishing, we headed to the room to sleep. The wall clock shows at 21:30.

The next morning I went to school with Arlo. I walked down the complex park, leisurely walking to enjoy the fresh air of the morning after last night's spatter. The smell of the plants mixed with the soil that I liked was as hot as this morning. I saw Arlo was waiting for me at the stop.

I approached without a sound.

"HI!!" I startled the dreamy Arlo. He was a little surprised to see me.

"For a long time, yes" I said again.

"If something unexpected happens, I'll tell you. Yuk pull it out," he asked.

I took the helmet and got on the bike. We also went to school.

"I'll pick you up later" Arlo said at school. I went into the school yard and Arlo went to his school.

I saw Monet and Ara that morning. They were chatting, and I joined them.

Ara carried a white metal earring placed into a small box. Turns out he bought two earrings for me and Monet.

"It's for you" said Ara.

"Well thanks! Good bangetttt," I said and Money almost in unison.

"This is my new home from Bangkok. He brought a lot of souvenirs," said Ara.

"Well, baby, pound it" I said teasingly.

"Yes, he loved his nephews, often bought souvenirs. It just so happened that there were three earrings that were as simple as that, so I took for us a twin, "Ara replied

It was early morning, not many people were present. Me, Ara, and Monet were busy wearing earrings from Ara.

The three of us went to the toilet to look in the mirror. After putting on those earrings, we stared at each other.

"Neither pantes?" My toot.

We took turns staring at the face with the ears that had been installed accessories.

"Later we will wear together, yes" persuaded Monet.

Me, Ara and Monet put the earrings in the box and headed to class.
