Secret Alit
Ghost Toilet

Many people believe that ghosts are everywhere. That is what makes this figure always associated with a place. The toilet ghost, for example.

In my opinion, the toilet is a place that is quite often the place of the appearance of fine creatures. I'm sure some readers have experienced it. Or at least, have heard the toilet ghost story.

I've experienced it too. Not at grandma's house this time, but at the mall. Yeah, at the mall! Just imagine, in such a crowded place, there were disturbing ghosts.

***

One Sunday, I went to the mall with my two friends, Ara and Monet, to spend the day off. The mall we are heading to is quite large and is one of the most famous malls in the city. Elite, you could say. Who shop there, only people with thick pockets. The items sold are all 'branded', aka expensive items with well-known brands.

As a schoolboy, of course me and my friends just intend to hang out and wash their eyes. Understandably, we do not have enough money to shop for expensive items.

Time shows twelve o'clock in the afternoon. While we were busy looking through the discounted items, Monet suddenly complained of stomach pain.

"Oh, mules. I go to the toilet first. Yuk tememin!" Monet. Ara and I asked Monet. We also walked straight to the toilet. Arriving there, the toilet was crowded and in line.

"Duh, can't stand it. We go to the second floor toilet, yuk," Monet said.

"When I go to the second floor, I don't go. Still want to see the discount" I said.

"Okay, there's nothing we're both doing" said Ara.

At that time, we were on the first floor. To get to the second-floor toilet, Monet and Ara took the escalator. The second floor is more crowded with visitors. Maybe because the discount stores are on the first floor, so almost all mall visitors gather there. Fortunately, the toilet is close to the escalator and balcony. I can see them from the discount store on the first floor.

While watching Ara and Monet walking towards the toilet, suddenly there was a shadow floating on the ceiling of the mall. The figure is like wearing a tight black suit wrapped up to the feet. His head was also covered in black cloth. The creature floated down from the ceiling while dancing to the music in the mall. His whole body was swaying.

"What kind of creature is that? How funny yes, not spooky, tumben," I thought confused.

I was curious and then went up to the second floor with an escalator. When I reached the end of the 2nd floor escalator, Monet and Ara almost reached the toilet hall. Ara waited at the mouth of the hall while playing HP, while Monet walked through the hallway to the toilet.

The figure continued to float while jiggling towards the toilet with a position behind me. I kept staring at him, suddenly, the figure turned towards me who was still at the end of the second floor escalator. He looked, WITHOUT moving his body. His head turned 180 degrees, while his body was still behind me.

When the figure turned his head, his face was extremely sinister. He grins. His teeth were large and fanged. His eyes were not petal, and his hair was invisible as it was wrapped in a black cloth.

Me and the creature were about seven meters away. While Ara, who is closer to the creature, looks ordinary. It seems he can't see it. If Ara or Monet saw him, they would have cried out in fear. I was actually scared too. But because I often see invisible creatures in my grandmother's house, I get a little used to it.

"It turned spooky too, I thought it was funny," I thought to myself.

Even though Ara is a brave girl, I still feel pity if she is bullied by the creature. So I decided to accompany him. Apparently, the creature instantly disappeared when I approached Ara.

We went to the toilet and saw Monet. As Ara opened the toilet door, we saw Monet standing behind the entrance.

"Ngapain you? Why don't you come out, stand there?" Ask Ara who is confused.

For a while, Monet looked at us in turn. After that, Monet rushed out and pulled our hands. He gestured for us to quickly leave the place.

Clearly, Ara looked confused. While I was already suspicious, there must be something wrong.

"Could he have been bullied by that creature?" I thought in my heart.

Arriving outside the toilet, Monet stopped walking and tried to start explaining. In a stalled voice, he recounted the incident he had experienced in the toilet.

"The new bag came in, I was a little scared because it was so quiet. I was alone in that toilet, "Monet started telling me. "So I made sure to enter the first room close to the entrance. To make it through, I can get out quick."

Monet stressed that he remembered everything in the toilet, from the location of the exit, the sink, and also the cubicles.

"First, I saw there were four rooms inside the toilet, two on the right side and two on the left side. Near the entrance, there is a small tub to store cleaning tools, such as brooms, long brushes and cleaning fluids. Well, I used the toilet in the front left room," he continued.

Then, Monet explained that after finishing defecating, he immediately rushed out of the cubicle. But strangely, he could not find the doorknob that was heading out the toilet.

"Pass out of the room, I went straight to the exit. But the exit does not exist! I groped the wall, but the door didn't exist, GONE! I'm sure the door is here. Just look around, I still do not find the exit, there is only a white wall," said Monet while slightly glazed.

Monet told me, he started to creep in fear at that moment. Suddenly, he heard a male voice saying: no way out. He looked right left, top down, but still could not find the source of the sound.

"I'm sure there's no one. Then, the voice appeared again up to three times!" continued. "I'm more afraid, so I just stand still and read the prayer. Until finally, you guys picked me up in the toilet. I'm so relieved. Thanks to Ara and Alit."

Monet was still trembling as he finished his story. Ara also directly stroked his back.

"So calm down, now it's safe, there's us" said Ara.

"Oh yes, and right, the wall I was fumbling was the exit. Thankfully there are you. If not, I can get stuck here," Monet said.

Hearing Monet's story, I thought, maybe it was a ghost? Means my guess is right, the ghost is indeed looking for a target person who is in the toilet.

Since then, I, Ara, and Monet, have come to believe that the ghost of the toilet does exist.
