Secret Alit

Secret Alit
Kiko - Part 3

The final lesson bell has sounded, a sign that teaching and learning activities have been completed. Ara and Monet had not yet moved from their seats. They still talk to my other classmates. Meanwhile, I went straight out of class. Then, akh walked quickly towards Naya's house.

Arriving in front of the school gate, I saw that there was a saddle near Naya's house. This morning, I saw a tent installed. So, meungkin kenduri will be held in the afternoon. According to the babble of the children who live around there, I heard this afternoon there will be music to dance freely before invited guests arrive in the afternoon. From the street, it looks like the tent is facing towards the alley next to Naya's house.

That afternoon, a dangdut song was heard from Naya's house. I looked inside and Naya was playing. I could see from a distance, looking at her face like she was talking to Kiko. I don't know what the two little boys were talking about. Sometimes I wonder too, wanting to listen to their chatter. Kids talk is interesting enough to listen to. So that adults, or teenagers like me, can still plumb the minds of children. I daydreamed and felt shocked when Naya came out of the fence.

"Sister, let's go in, let's go in" Naya said with a cheerful smile.

Naya pulled my hand and walked towards the back porch of the house. Apparently, Naya wanted to show her the newly purchased moon orchid plant by her mother. The orchid is placed on a shelf attached to the outside wall of the kitchen. I feel familiar with this place, because it was once a hiding place with a hard heartbeat when watching Om Clown beratraksi.

While observing the charm of the orchid of the moon, suddenly there was a creaking of the gate opened by someone. I hurriedly hid under that orchid shelf. I can guess, it's probably Om Clown.

"Sir, there's Om Clown..." Naya said in a soft and frightened voice.

I fell silent, trying not to make a sound.

"Naya, come in here" I heard a heavy voice from a grown man.

As if already memorized by the command, Naya immediately obeyed the words of Om Clown. With slow steps, his head bowed, and his two small hands clenched tightly, he walked towards the kitchen.

Meanwhile, a dangdut sound was heard quite loudly from the outside direction. At that time, what was played was an old song with a joke verse: "Pak Ketipak Tipung". I remember my childhood when I was dancing to that song. Even now, I have a sense of wanting to dance when I hear it, but of course I am embarrassed because I feel big. For a moment, I forgot my mission to look at Clown's behavior.

This time, I have prepared a smartphone to record the behavior of Om Clown to be used as evidence. Yes, I intend to get acquainted with Mama Naya, and complain about the behavior of Om Clown who always makes Naya scared all day.

The old song was played not once. Maybe the kids and the people around are happy with the song. I also fell asleep for a moment and suddenly jolted because I remembered Om Clown.

I started taking out my phone and opened the video app. Wonderful, why is there no sound 'tek...tek...tek', which is a knock on the kitchen window glass that indicates the attraction Om Clown began? Slowly, I crawled out of the hiding place to look into the translucent middle room to the front.

Apparently, this time I saw a heartbreaking sight. The man sat down and cried. The cry was defeated by the sound of music loud enough, so the sound of crying was not heard.

I faintly saw the figure of a little girl Naya's age. It must be Kiko. I closed my mouth, almost shouting his name. Kiko is seen standing behind Om Clown, and hugging and sticking his face to the back of Om Clown. There was no reverse reaction from the man. Maybe the Clown can't see Kiko. Therefore Kiko considers Om Clown turned into a bitch.

I moved forward to see more clearly what Om Clown would do next.

"Naya.." said Om Clown. The male voice sounded weakened in contrast to his usual fierce voice. He waved his hand for Naya to get closer.

Naya came out of the kitchen and walked slowly closer to him. At a close distance, the man drew a small hand and grabbed it.

Naya looks dumbfounded at events that may be unexpected. Naya was silent when she hugged him.

Meanwhile, Kiko gradually releases her embrace from the back of Om Clown. Kiko returned to the kitchen, to where the doll's body rested on the kitchen wall in a sitting position on the floor.

Clown wiped his tears.

"Naya, you're my sister's bride, Lila. Call me brother, yes," said the Clown.

Naya was silent and looked at her face. I watched the incident while asking myself. Naya must have experienced inner struggle, because all this time has been feared and oppressed. I suspect, the quiet nature of Naya because of her actions.

The man called Om the Clown let go of his cuddle to Naya. He stood up and walked out of the house. I was silent for a moment and moved from my place to approach Naya. I hugged her. Naya still showed fear on her face. That little boy had a terrible burden all by himself. He kept his fears to himself and had been kept secret from his mother. Me and Naya were crying without a sound. Our tears drip down my cheeks.

I stood towards the kitchen, meeting Kiko. It faintly seemed that Kiko was sitting facing the wall with one hand supporting the head that L was sticking to the kitchen wall.

"Kiko...Who's lila?" My toot.

"I'm familiar, but I don't know sis," said Kiko, looking still sad.

"Sister cuekin me," he continued.

The clown did not respond as Kiko hugged her back. Maybe that's what I mean.

"Naya played with Kiko, sister went home first, yes" I said.

I stood up and took my foot out of the house. While the song 'Pak Ketipang Ketipung' is still being heard. Maybe the teenagers took advantage of this empty moment to rejoice before the guests arrived in the afternoon. I walked up to the stop, and it looked like Arlo was sitting on his bike.

"It's been a while?" my many.

"Most 5 minutes. Come up," he answered.

We both went to Grandma's house.

"Neek.', I called him from the courtyard of the house.

"Today's good today" said Arlo.

"Today's the problem of the Clown's Clown!" Answer me while grinning. "Let's go to the dalem, I'll tell you a story while eating with grandma."
