As usual, this morning I left with Arlo who wanted to take me to school. Along the way, I told her about Naya, but she looked careless and responded to me so badly. Either because there is a lot of thinking, or he is not interested in my story.
"Alit, I'll pick you up later, yeah" said Arlo waking up my daydream. Apparently I didn't realize we were at the school stop.
"Okay, see you! I said as I waved my hand and rushed over to Naya's house.
This morning, Naya wasn't on that front porch. I called him, but there was no answer. I opened the unlocked fence, then walked round to the back of the house through a small path to look for it. But the window of his room was closed. The door to the kitchen was also closed, but the key was hanging from the door handle.
"Well, what a danger this is, the key is left hanging like this" I thought.
I wanted to peek inside the house, but hesitated. I looked around to make sure I was alone in the house. Fearfully, there are people who see me and think that I'm a thief.
I stood near the kitchen and peered out from the small glass window near the kitchen door. There, I saw Naya sitting with her knees on the kitchen floor. His face was seen buried between his legs and body, like a child crying or frightened.
Without a second thought, I turned the key and went inside. But apparently, the door was unlocked. I turned the handle and opened the door. My mind raged at the thought of how loving Naya was sitting on the floor like that in a closed room that was definitely stuffy. As soon as I entered it, I approached Naya and squatted nearby.
"Naya, this is brother. You why? Yuk, let's go to the porch," I asked him. But Naya was silent, not even changing her position at all.
"In this house there's only brother, Naya, and Kiko, right? Let's tell brother, why is Naya here? Naya's locked up? Who locked Naya up?" My toot.
Naya started to raise her face and look at me. I was confused, he didn't look like he was crying. His face was ordinary, his expression flat He looked towards the open kitchen door.
"Yuk, Naya, we play on the porch. We'll take Kiko, too" I'll bring her back.
He remained silent with his flat face, not poking at me at all. Did he experience painful things so many times that he became indifferent and resigned like this? Or is it just my mind? Ah, I don't know. Although I can't get an answer today, the important thing is that I want to invite him to play first to be happy.
"Kiko let it be here, sister, same Naya" said Naya. She turned to Kiko beside her, then lifted her up and hugged her tightly.
"We're playing on the front mat, Naya. There's a lot of wind, it's better" I said.
Naya replied by shaking her head.
"Naya's eating?" My toot.
He's nodding. I also took the initiative to prepare a glass of water for Naya because she insisted on not coming out of this stuffy kitchen. While I have to get into school. I was confused too.
"Schooler first, yes, Brother will come back again if you have time," I said.
Naya nodded and let out words that surprised me a little.
"Naya is here with Kiko. Naya recalls the same with the Clown, "he replied.
"Om Whose clown, Naya?" My toot.
But Naya was silent again. He didn't answer my question. School hours are approaching. Inevitably, I had to leave and leave Naya alone despite feeling very worried.
"Drug, Naya. I'll see ya" I said, waving my hand, and Naya returned a wave of my hand with a smile.
I closed the kitchen door, but I left it unlocked. I walked towards the school while thinking about Naya. Who is this Clown Om? Does his mother know him?
***
After school, I went back to Naya's house. I looked into the house from the fence. Relieved, Naya was sitting with kiko on the mat. Today, I have to find out about Om Clown.
"Hi, Naya!" I greet.
"Eh, Brother, come on in," he said.
"Where are the clowns?" My toot.
"It's gone, sister," Naya said with a tone and a flat facial expression.
"She was locked up with a Clown in the kitchen?" I asked Naya. But he fell silent again and did not answer.
"Naya don't tell mama if you're told to sit on the kitchen floor?"
"Well, brother, there's Kiko. So there's nothing" he replied, shaking his head.
My tears are dripping down my cheeks. Yeah, my friends say, I'm a crybaby. I was easily moved and carried away. Seeing a child alone and not being treated well like this made my heart cut open. Naya turned her head and wiped my tears with her tiny hands.
"There's Kiko, Naya nothing, sister," said Naya.
Long time passed, I didn't realize that there had been some chatter and missed calls from Arlo. Turns out, he's at my school stop.
"Naya, brother go home first, yeah. Arlo's brother has come to the stop, pick me up" I said. Naya just nodded and continued to caress Kiko's hair.
Arriving at the stop, I immediately greeted Arlo and apologized. Luckily Arlo was a good guy. He understood that I had forgotten the time I spent with Naya.
"Almost I stayed there" said Arlo, laughing.
Along the way, my tears were unstoppable and cried as they pleased. I sensed an incident that should not have happened to that helpless little boy.
"Alit, why? Crying huh?" Ask Arlo. "Don't cry anymore. Tomorrow morning I pick you up, so there's time to go to Naya's house again."
I accepted his offer. Arlo was happy because Arlo was so good. He can empathize even though his ways are different from mine.
That afternoon, Arlo just drove me home, and hurried back to school.

As Arlo promised, he came back home in the morning to take me to Naya's house. Naya was seen standing near the fence. His face was like crying, so I was worried that something might hurt his physique.
"Naya's crying out? Wh why? Hit by a clown?" I said.
Naya shook her head.
"Tells to my sister, why?" I asked back.
"Naya is still scared because Naya cried last night. Mama is very angry. Mama asked Naya to stop crying, but Naya continued to cry, even more crying. Because Naya couldn't stop crying, my mom got more angry, sister," she replied.
"Why did you cry last night?" My toot.
Naya shook her head again.
Naya's story feels weird to me. When the clown Om locks her in the kitchen, Naya does not cry. But at night, when she was with her mother, she cried for no reason. Naya seems to love her mother very much. I saw Naya take her mother to work to the stop. It was as if time with her mother was a precious moment. What's important now, is I have to find out who Om the clown is?
That afternoon, I didn't go to Naya's house. Monet and Ara were talking to me. I also lost a lot of time to go to Naya's house before Arlo picked me up. Monet and Ara don't know about Naya. I think it would be complicated if too many people knew about Naya. Though his own mother also did not know the problems faced during Naya left at home.

The next day, I came in the morning again to have time to Naya's house before going to school. Monet and Ara had not been seen when I got to the stop. I rushed to Naya's house. From the front of the fence he welcomed me.
"Oh Brother, come in yuk!" Said.
I went in, then sat on the mat with Naya and Kiko. Naya looks like she's changing into Kiko's clothes.
"Here, sister help," I said, offering up.
Naya gave me a set of clothes she chose from a pile of doll clothes in the toy closet. I also put that shirt on to Kiko.
"Where's the Clown House? Naya knows?" My toot.
Naya shook her head.
"Om Clowns come here often?" I asked back.
"Sometimes, when you're not home," she replied.
"Naya's not afraid?" My speech.
"Fear, but Naya did. Most Clowns often show their faces from the kitchen window. Naya will turn her face away or cover my face. After that Om Clown disappeared," said Naya.
"Naya told Yayu the same story?" My toot.
Naya shook her head.
I think Naya must be very depressed. That strange action had made him adapt to mental violence. Naya was often scared so much that maybe that was what made her cry at night when her mother came home. That little boy must not have realized that he was depressed so he could not talk to anyone including his mother. It's tragic the story of Naya.
