Chapter 24 - The Santet Curse

Mr Rondo, the woman is now confused about what she should do. Honestly speaking, he knew what the figure that was in his body had been doing all this time, but he could do nothing against that figure. That was what caused him to run away when he saw Dekka and Bertan in front of him, he had no face to meet them.

But now he feels he needs to explain everything, especially with citizens increasingly wondering about his changing attitude. In the middle of the river, two other teenage boys try to catch fish. They only have their own nets and hands. Their undergarments were already wet due to the fairly heavy water. One of them looked at the other two girls, making sure they were both still there.

"Tirta, here used to be lunch. It was a laper" Nora shouted at one of them. Tirta and Bayu walked to the edge of the river, taking a seat beside Nora and Rondo who had opened their rice packets. The rice was brought from home, deliberately enjoyed while playing on the river. Tirta sat beside Rondo and Bayu sat beside Nora.

"How would you be fat if you eat as little as Rondo," said Bayu when looking at the portion of food from Rondo which is a little. Rondo only smiled, but on the other hand Nora lowered her hand to her rice. The portion is larger than Rondo, he should eat the same portion with Rondo so that his weight does not only rise.

"Let's keep her body good, won't Ron? Anyway if the portion of Nora kayak later even more fat," replied Tirta while laughing which was immediately followed by Rondo's laughter. Bayu clucked dislikes, they often joke like that by carrying a physical from Nora. And it's not funny at all if he jokes by bringing someone physically.

"Don't do that, you're late to know no," said Bayu not happy. Rondo and Tirta stopped laughing. Rondo put on an awkward smile, while Tirta put on an annoyed face. Though he was only joking but Bayu took it seriously. Baperan, that's what's on his mind.

"Kidding, Nora's not angry, is she?" tanya Tirta who was embraced by Nora. The silent atmosphere after, only the sound of the flowing river was still heard. Nora ate her food slowly, still thinking about what Tirta had just said, the laughter of the two still lingered in her mind.

"Don't think about it, finish the food. It is not good to waste food tau," Bayu said slowly to Nora. Nora was surprised, she turned her head towards Bayu who had already finished half her meal. Next he smiled, nodded in understanding then continued his meal blushing. His ears are flushed with shame, close to Bayu always managed to make him misbehave.

If Nora could be honest, she had wanted to be close for a long time with Bayu. He likes his best friend, the attention Bayu shows with the small things done always managed to make him fall in love. And in his opinion, he thought that Bayu also felt the same because of his attitude all along. But in fact all is just his wish, because in fact Bayu will never like behind his figure.
