SEBERANG VILLAGE

SEBERANG VILLAGE
Chapter 21 - Dreams

That day, it was raining all day so that Bertan and Dekka could not do any activities other than lazing at home. It was already noon, but the rain was still quite heavy making it still visible in the morning, coupled with the atmosphere that had been cold and cold made the two young men with a short distance of life decide to return to the room and seal the blanket.

Their eyes closed, leading them to dreamland shortly afterwards. A smooth snoring sounded from the lips of the two, but that was not the center of attention. Bertan's forehead creaking indicates his figure is having a nightmare if seen at a glance.

And Bertan's there, dreamland or something. He stood up, in his house, but this time he could see his dearest figure who had actually left. Mom, dad and grandpa were there, discussing something I don't know. Bertan could not hear what they were saying because of the great distance. Finally he approached, trying to listen to their conversation with curiosity. No one seems to be aware of his presence, of course, as this is just a dreamland and Bertan knows it.

The more he approached the more he realized the unpleasant facial features of them, and it turned out there were also the mother and father of Dekka who also put on a tense face. Grandpa and grandma's faces were reddish, holding back the anger that couldn't just overflow. From their conversation, they had just lost one of the family members. It was the result of what they accidentally joined. Grandpa's brother died, Dekka and Bertan were babies at the time.

The longer, grandfather's face grew more serious. He began to talk about the dangers that will be faced by the two babies if they are known to be direct descendants of grandfathers. They are both special, especially Dekka who has the same percis ability as grandfather. Both parents were asked to leave Seberang Village as soon as possible, but the rejection was given both.

"I can't leave mom and dad here, if we go you have to go" Bertan's father said. Bertan's mother is unemployed and father berdan gave defense to his brother. Seen grandfather rubbed his face in frustration, his two sons did not understand what situation they were in. It's only natural that they can't see 'them' invisible.

"You forget what you said when your children were born?" ask Grandpa. Dekka's father this time shook his head, taking a step forward to represent his brother against. His wife stepped in, faithfully accompanied the husband because honestly he also did not want to leave this village.

"We remember sir, but that's not necessarily true. The proof until now Dekka and Bertan are still fine," said Dekka's father. "In addition, how can my descendants have talents that I do not have, I should have put him down as a father" he continued.

At that time the debate occurred, and no one gave up until finally the grandfather who chose to be silent. Four people fought him both with his wife, of course they would lose the vote. When an agreement is made, with Dekka and Bertan who will always be under the supervision of grandparents suddenly around Bertan bleached. Moved in one eye and in the next he was already in another story setting.

She could see him at that time, her toddler in her mother's arms crying. Likewise with Dekka who had weakened in his mother's arms. Bertan held his breath, he had absolutely no memory of this incident ever happening in his life. He looked around, black fog was everywhere, and the one that caught his attention the most was Dekka with blood around his lips.

In front of them was his father and dekka, and grandfather was at war with a great creature. The creature was human, with all six holes in its face spitting out blood. Shaped like a human, still wearing ancient royal clothes complete with hair ornaments. Bertan had never seen the figure before, but now seeing it made the fur of his horse immediately stand up instantly. For the first time Bertan felt such fear in creatures like them.

Grandma spoke, brandishing a finger at the huge figure, with an unfamiliar language speaking. But he knew every word the grandmother said there were pent-up emotions, there was a sense of anger that wanted to overflow. Shortly after the grandmother spoke the figure looked sharply at all of them. Words that make the situation around echoed his voice that was too loud.

After speaking in a foreign language the figure left and the grandmother immediately returned as usual afterwards. He was terrified, as if what had just happened was seen by him. Grandfather stroked his wife's back soothingly, staring intently at his son who almost made both of his cousin's lives drift. At that moment, Bertan stopped crying and Dekka fell asleep in his mother's arms.

"Take Dekka out of here before he's really dead. If any of you still want to stay, only Bertan can. My brother has given him protection" said grandfather.

"But sir."

Dekka's father wanted to go back to resist but Grandma immediately stopped him with a hand gesture to stop talking. Dekka's father was instantly silent, letting his mother and father approach Dekka who looked still limp. The blood around Dekka's lips was rubbed gently by her grandmother, behind her a loving Dekka mane.

"You have to go, that figure wants your son. This land is cursed at those who are pure descendants of grandfathers. And he was the one, all of grandfather's abilities decreased to him. From now on whatever the reason is, before me and your father die never set foot in this village. Tweet my message to my granddaughter, and you never set foot before your son still hasn't found the bright spot never set foot. You've been marked by him."

And after that all went back dark, the atmosphere went back to silence. Around Bertan began to white then darken instantly and a few moments later he woke up. Cold sweat poured down his forehead, his breathing irregular. He spread his gaze around and his gaze stopped at Dekka who was also breathing. His cousin was also the same as it seemed, a lot of sweat dripping from his forehead.

The two of them looked at each other for a long time. And then they realized, the expression of their faces was the same - fear and shock. Their views let it collide for a moment until finally Dekka who cut off to scramble his hair.

"De, you dreamin why you can get out of here huh?"

"Gue don't have to answer that."
