SEBERANG VILLAGE

SEBERANG VILLAGE
Chapter 11 - Bound Destiny

With high curiosity, after completing another horror story based on his own story Dekka immediately called his father. The phone featured a screen of the father and mother sitting on the living room couch, somewhere else Dekka did not care. Next to Dekka there is Bertan who also wants to hear more explanations about grandmothers, about things they may not know.

"Mom, yeah come on. Cook Dekka just as Bertan can not know about his own family," said Dekka when Mom and Dad refused to talk. Bertan only listened, while on the other hand the father and mother compactly sighed them. Not wanting to keep it a secret but it seems better to forget the dark enough time than to reveal it again just because of a curiosity.

"Didn't I want to share this with you, but it's better to forget. Besides, now I'm asking, why Dekka suddenly this thing" I asked back. He also needs an explanation about his son who suddenly asks about their family genealogy and also Bertan follow along. Helaan breath Dekka do, actually doubt he revealed but what can be done.

"Dekka can see them again well, ma'am. Since Dekka's move here, Dekka has been able to see them and that has also left Dekka confused. Because mother and father Sempert said that Dekka would not see them again, but now Dekka even see again."

Father and mother were jolted across the vidio, it was true that they had been told in advance that Dekka would not be able to see 'them' but it could not last long. Terutana now Dekka entered the area that was indeed 'they' inhabited since long ago. The place has a lot of dark stories, which is the reason why Dad and Mom decided to take their family away from there.

"Dekka not related to them, do not interfere with their affairs, right, son?" ask Dad. His tone sounded worried, staring in from a phone call at his eldest son. Dekka just smiled, did not know what to answer because he could not lie and did not want to answer honestly. So he could only smile, letting both his parents decipher his smile.

"Stop, son, don't mind their business. Bertan too, do not yes son, do not come like Dekka later. Or are you coming back here just aya, get out of there?" persuade Mother. It was obvious in his tone that he was worried about the two figures across the phone. Dad also nodded, agreeing to all of mom's words.

"Mom, if I tell Dekka to come home now it feels free. Dekka has already entered this village, after all Dekka will not pass the restrictions, it would be strange if Dekka suddenly moved again especially with Bertan. That's why Dekka begs Mom and Dad, please tell us about our family, ma'am. Just what Dekka needs to know, just a little don't have to tell me everything."

Vidio's call was switched off, and Dekka could see the father arguing with his mother. Eventually the mother is seen nodding, and Dad revives his voice to say something to Dekka and Bertan. Father confirmed the position, making Dekka and Bertan also stiffened because of it.

"Dad tell me something, but you guys after this please don't interfere with the mass then?" Father took a breath, before continuing to tell the dark story that made the fate of the eldest son of his and the older brother dragged.

"Before, when your grandfather was alive. In the village there are a lot of disasters, each other hostile to each other so that the disaster comes. Many people's lives were wasted due to a dispute with black magic, Grandpa at that time wanted to mediate. But as you know, Grandpa died long before you were born. But Grandpa's brother didn't accept it, he retaliated who did that to Grandpa."

"So, grandma knows that Dekka will be in danger if Dekka dateng means. But Dekka thought there was nothing strange about this village now, and it was just a mass story. After all, today there is nothing like that anymore" Dekka replied.

"Dad just wants to remember you, don't interfere too much. You will not know which is the enemy and which family there Dekka, father also can not come there actually. The land is cursed for father and mother, and also for your brothers and sisters. Already, that's all I can say, I can't tell you too much Dekka" said Dad. Mother nodded, hoping that the two young men understood what they were saying.

"But if I'm like Dekka, that means I can see them?" ask Bertan. Dad just put his shoulders together, honestly he doesn't know about it either. What he remembers his mother once said was that the two firstborns born in his two exes would continue all those mass infighting. And if they fail, the next descendant will get the problem.

"But please don't think too much, forget it. As Dekka said, maybe it's safe now."

"But really don't want to go home, Dekka?" ask Mother. Dekka smiled, shook his head and said it was okay. He still has a job that requires calm, so the reason for his mother. Though deep in his mind he wanted to know the truth about all the irregularities of his family. Grandpa's death, Bertan's parents' death, Grandma's death. And it turned out that it was not only him who thought so, because now Bertan looked at him with a serious look.

"Denger said that, right? We are bound by Dekka's destiny and if we fail the next offspring will be hit. You know what I mean, right?" ask Bertan. Dekka nodded, the two of them then both flashed smiles at each other.

"But you're sure we'll succeed Dekka?"

"Never doubt, you are confident enough in yourself and God's protection."

Again and again Bertan smiled, he felt amazed by Dekka who was quite quick to adapt to the mystical things he had just experienced lately. So from that day on, once they know the destiny that binds them, they begin to always be together. Without them knowing, the activities of those who always enter the grandmother's room to look for irregularities make Berdan's sensitivity to the presence of 'them' increased.
