SAKYA PARAKA: THE LIBERATOR

SAKYA PARAKA: THE LIBERATOR
Calvaraksa flower

Sakya tries to push his body to stay above the surface of the river water, but the swift flow of the river pulls himself back into the current. His hands were trying to hold on to the boulders in the middle of the river. Unfortunately, other than the surface of the rock was slippery, he did not have enough energy to withstand the impulse of the river current.

In the Vanaya forest there are many small rivers that have a heavy current flow. This river is a branch of the Kala River. Kala river is one of the largest rivers on the mainland of the Pangea continent and divides the Vanaya forest into 2 parts. These branches separated from the upper Kala river which then united again with the main river flow in the southern region of the Vanaya forest and flowed directly into the Panthalassa ocean.

Sakya knows that she is in one of the branches of the Kala River. One day he will be carried to the main stream of the Kala river.

The main flow of the Kala River is very wide. To cross it takes a quarter of a day by boat. Due to the width of the main flow of the river flows calmly. But his father once said that in a calm river gather dangerous animals. It is certain that people who swim in the river Kala will never go back to land.

Before he reached the main stream of the Kala river, Sakya had to get out of this branch.

In despair, a glimmer of hope appeared. A piece of wood was seen floating in the current. As hard as he could, he grabbed the wood and succeeded. Sakya used the rest of her energy to tightly hug the wooden trunk.

Sakya did not know how long she had been hugging the log and was carried away by the Kala river branch. However, he felt that the river flow had started to slow down. That is, he will soon arrive at the main stream of the Kala river. With all her might from what was left, Sakya tried to push herself to the edge of the river. The push of the river water that began to weaken made Sakya's efforts not too heavy. He managed to reach the river.

Sakya lay down for a while to recover the energy and let out the water. After gathering a little energy, Sakya looked at her surroundings. Right now, he was at the bottom of the river gorge. To get out of the canyon, he had to climb the canyon wall about 30 meters. Of course at this moment, Sakya knew that he would not make it to the top.

"Am I going to die here?" thought Sakya.

Inadvertently his eyes saw the mouth of the cave which was around a height of 5 meters on the canyon wall. Sakya currently has only two options. Died on the riverbank with the risk of his corpse to fill the stomach of a wild animal or die in a cave.

Finally he decided to go up to the mouth of the cave and die there.

Fortunately, the cave is quite large. The width of the hallway is 2 meters while the depth is about 15 meters. Inside the cave there was a beam of sunlight coming in from the roof of the cave. Like a laron who is drawn to fire, Sakya creeps into Goa.

Inside the cave, the room widened to make a circle about the size of 5 meters. There was a small pond in the middle of the cave, on the edge of which grew flowers that he had just seen the first time. Its trunk bulged like a ball the size of an adult's head and glittered in gold while its leaves were blue the size of an eyeball. It's only up to an adult's calf.

Somehow Sakya remembered his grandfather's words, "Sakya, the lucky man when he had a beautiful life and death. That beautiful life is when we are blessed with a long life, and that beautiful death is a quick death." His grandfather always said that when he was talking about life and death.

"How can we live so long cake?" ask Sakya curiously.

"Eats... Eating... And eat... Hahaha," replied his grandfather.

Did Sakya remember him because he was going to die today? In this cave he will die of hunger and exhaustion. In the range of his hands there is only pool water and mother is blue. Should he eat it? if the plant is edible then its death will be delayed, but if it is poisonous, then it will die quickly. Whatever the end, based on her grandfather's view she was a lucky person, there was a chance of getting a life or perhaps a beautiful death.

Sakya stretched out her hand to reach the plant. The ball-shaped stem turns soft and watery. He brought the plant closer to his mouth and bit it. It was juicy, tender and sweet. When it went into his mouth the flesh melted and instantly flowed down his throat. The warm feeling radiating from the throat to his stomach made him comfortable. However, over time his stomach was getting hot.

"Akhich!" Sakya shrieks. His stomach burned and began to spread throughout his body. "It turns out the plants are poisonous... I'm gonna die." Sakya began to worry, the heat that had spread throughout his body had begun to be unbearable.

The rest of the flowers fell out of his hands. Sakya tried to reduce the pain by holding the stomach but was unsuccessful. Because Sakya could not bear to put her head in the pool and drink the water until the stomach was full. Unfortunately, the heat does not decrease in the slightest. Sakya's screams filled the entire cave room and everything went dark.

Sakya does not know that the flower she eats is the Kalvaraksa flower.
