SAKYA PARAKA: THE LIBERATOR

SAKYA PARAKA: THE LIBERATOR
Fight with me!

Tivara and the participants who managed to escape continued to run to the border of Varsani hill. They knew there were Lokapatti warriors there. They ran until they saw the group of soldiers who were still gathered under the banyan tree.

"Help us! There was rakshasa," cried the participants of the performance at the Lokapatti soldiers while pointing towards the Varsani hill.

The soldiers ran closer and closer towards them. When it was close to 'BUK' there was a loud enough impact sound.

"What are you doing?" shouted an attendee as one of the Lokapatti soldiers beat him to a fall. He was not the only one, all the participants got almost the same treatment. Some were kicked and hit by spear rods etc.

"Stop, please ...."

"Please ... There's rakshasa in there, let me go!"

"You shouldn't run! You should go with the rakshasa-rakshasa!" said one angry Lokapatti soldier. He continued to beat up the participants who were in front of him.

After the participants were beaten, they were pulled and led back to the Varsani hill.

Tivara tried to get up and fight back, but the blow on the head made her balance waver. One kick landed on his body making him fall back.

"Please ... Let me go! I have a child ...." Tivara begged the Lokapatti soldiers.

"I have a child too. If you manage to escape then my son is dead," the Lokapatti warrior cuts Tivara's speech and pulls him towards Varsani's hill.

When they were about to arrive at Varsani Hill, they passed Sakya who was carrying the twenty participants he had saved.

"Run Sakya! Run!" Tivara yells at Sakya. But Sakya just silently looked at him expressionlessly.

"Where do you think you're going? Go back to the hill or you feel the consequences!" abuba exclaimed at the group led by Sakya.

"There is no rakshasa on the hill. They're back in town. Don't worry, they say they will come again directly to Lokapatti," replied Sakya flatly.

Sakya did not say that he had killed almost all of the rakshasa. But, the information that they would come again was indeed added by Sakya. It is impossible for Rakshasa to let a city slip from his hands.

"A—what did you say? A—what have you done?" Abuba wrath. He could not imagine if the rakshasa started attacking the city of Lokapatti. "The soldiers caught them all!"

The soldiers started to move to capture the participants. Sakya gave off her prabodithic aura that frightened the Lokapatti warriors. Like seeing a sattva ready to pounce on them. They cannot breathe so they stop moving.

"Don't be afraid! He's just one man. We attack together!" abuba's cry instantly resuscitated the other soldiers. They clasped his spear tightly.

Sakya smiled, she acknowledged Abuba's ability as a captain. Abuba is able to respond quickly to changes in the situation on the ground. A response that continues to be honed by sufficient fighting experience.

"Kneel!" Sakya uses his prana to suppress the Lokapatti warriors.

One by one the Lokapatti soldiers began to kneel. They had already experienced something similar in Lokapatti square by Shrie. Who would have thought that his brother was capable of doing the same. Faces of fear began to appear again on their faces.

"You're their leader? I know you're not afraid of death, but I'll make sure if you don't answer my question, you're the only soldier alive to report to Mara's balapati. Answer my question! What the hell is going on here?" ask Sakya.

The soldiers were more than a subordinate, they were brothers in arms. He knows his family one by one. If they died and he lived, what would he tell their families, he probably would not dare to show his face before them.

"All right, I'm telling you. Don't hurt them! We ...." Abuba immediately revealed what they did to the participants of the offerings on the hill Varsani. The same thing that Rakshasa told Sakya.

Hearing Abuba's confession, the participants could only hold their breath. They even feel tight to breathe. How not, the offering of the goddess Daru is their only hope to survive on this continent. Now their hopes, dreams and opportunities are shattered. Are you still human?

"What do you see? The choice is only my family alive or you. And I chose my family." As if knowing what the participants were thinking, Abuba rebuked them.

"Enough! Tivara, invite the others to take their spears. Then let them go!" sakya.

"relinquished them? How come? they've tried to kill us" shouted one of the offerings.

"It's not time they died. I need them to tell me what happened here. Release them!"

The participant then remained silent. Sakya again asks Tivara to disarm them.

"You can go!" sakya's orders to the Lokapatti warriors.

Abuba felt the weight pressing down on him begin to disappear. He stood up and began to go towards the city of Lokapatti.

After the Lokapatti soldiers left, an attendee muttered softly, "what are we going to do now?" He dropped his spear, sitting with both hands in his hair. There is nothing more hurtful than being betrayed, being stabbed in the back especially when we hang our hopes sky-high.

"Other things that can be done? Back to Lokapatti town? Die. To other cities must have suffered the same fate ... Die. Living in the wild? Dead," said Sakya stomping silence.

There was nothing wrong with Sakya. A little bit painful, but that's the truth.

"Apa yang akan kau lakukan Sakya?" tanya Tivara lirih.

"Make a choice as to where and how I will die. Living in the wild ... They may survive longer and have offspring. But in the end I will die and leave fear to my successor for the rest of his life. Or return to Lokapatti ... I will change my destiny. There's hope there. I might die but I'll make sure I take one Lokapatti man to the realm of death and at least I won't burden my descendants in the future."

What Sakya said was like a speck of firefly light in a moonless night. A speck of hope in the darkness of their hearts. They no longer have any ties to this world, trampled by the rigors of life and betrayed by their fellow men. They have nothing.

In desperation, if there was a cliff there, they would not hesitate to jump straight away. But, Sakya gives them a 'goal'. Chance to change destiny for their children. They may fail and die, but it is much better than a suicide plunge into the abyss and die aimlessly.

"Come with me! Fight with me for a better future" Sakya asked.

"I'm coming with you" said Tivara.

"Me too, let's change our fate!"

"I'm old, I can't fight anymore" said grandfather Vatsa lirih.

"Grandfather, fighting is not the only way to change our destiny. You will find your place in this fight" Sakya replied.

"Let's go back to Lokapatti!" Sakya walks followed by fifty former participants of the offerings of goddess Daru back to the city of Lokapatti.
