SAKYA PARAKA: THE LIBERATOR

SAKYA PARAKA: THE LIBERATOR
Can You Help Me Wear These Clothes?

In the carriage, Shrie asked Sakya telepathically, "Sister, I don't understand why you hurt them?"

"You're wrong Shrie. I saved them."

"Save them? Save from what?" Shrie is confused.

"From the bad things to come,” replied Sakya taking a deep breath. "Shrie do you believe me?" ask Sakya lirih.

"Of course I believe, but I don't understand about everything ... About Ekadeva ... Or about you hurting them. Wh why? If you want power, won't you be able to get it easily?" shrie. His eyes began to glaze over. Why Sakya did not give her an explanation.

"I don't want power. Shrie I asked you to trust me. Give me a few days. In the next few days you'll know everything. Trust me, everything's gonna be fine." Sakya tries to calm Shrie down. She can't tell Shrie all her plans because she thinks Shrie isn't ready to hear them all.

Shrie just lowered her head without saying anything. Only Sakya's family remains. Shrie will do anything to help him, even if he has to destroy the city. Sakya just had to ask for it. Why did Sakya not believe it?

The horse-drawn carriage stopped in front of a pendopo. The Duke of Sena invited them to sit down. Then he sent all his guards away.

"Now there are only three of us. Let me answer your question. The answer remains the same, ha ha ha. I saved them not the other way around,” said the Duke of Sena.

"And what was the reason Duke Sena invited us here?" ask Sakya.

"To prevent them from doing something even more stupid. If they do not bother you, they will certainly not be hurt,” answered the Duke of Sena while drinking the water that has been provided.

"Duke, so you intend to save them by locking us up here?" sakya Sindir, smilingly looking at Duke Sena.

"Ha ha ha, you're so smart! Unfortunately I know I can't lock you up. So I want to offer you guys something.” replied Duke Sena."I will make Vaidya Shrie a resident of Lokapatti. Give him land, a house and its contents. And to protect her from balapati and pandita, I will also raise Shrie as my adopted son." He made his offer.

"What about my brother?" shrie asked, because she didn't hear any offers for Sakya.

"Sakya, may I know what your skills are?" ask Duke Sena.

"I'm just an ordinary hunter" Sakya replied. He took a glass nearby and drank it.

The Duke of Sena stood up from his chair, then walked five steps with both hands behind his back. He paused while his eyes stared deep into the city of Lokapatti.

"To be honest I have to be fair to everyone, the reason I offered Vaidya because you are so unique. Your abilities are a blessing to all mankind. No one will doubt my decision. However, Sakya is just a hunter like the others, and like the others, he must follow the Dewi Daru celebration to become a resident of Lokapatti. That's the law in this town. If I break it, others will set an example. Without the law upheld, this city would collapse." He took a deep breath and looked at Sakya.

"I understand the meaning of Duke Sena." Sakya nodded her head.

"You are lucky, Dewi Daru celebration will be held in two days. I'm sure you can get his grace so that you can quickly regroup with your sister," said Duke Sena."Tomorrow I will announce the inauguration of Shrie as a resident of Lokapatti as well as the appointment of her as my adopted son. That'll guarantee his safety in this town."

"I thank you for the arrangement, Duke Sena. I put my brother in your care." Sakya got up from her seat and bowed to the Duke of Sena.

"Haiz, that's all I can do, the more talented you have, the more mankind will rise from its decline" said the Duke of Sena.

"Baby, Come here!" duke Sena shouted to call a subordinate.

A man came to greet the Duke of Sena. "What do you say Duke?"

"I want you to round up the townspeople tomorrow at the square. There's something I'm going to announce, and take them to the guest room to rest!" Duke Sena issued the order.

"Good Duke." Bayana. He then allows Shrie and Sakya to follow him.

"We say goodbye, Duke" said Sakya and Shrie, greeting him and following Bayana from behind.

They came out of the pendopo through a rocky path and began to enter the complex of the Duke's house. There are several wooden buildings in the complex. Bayana takes Sakya to one of the small houses in the complex. While Shrie occupies another small house.

"Sister, what should I do now?" Shrie's voice echoed in Sakya's mind.

"Do as you normally do. If anyone's gonna hurt you, you can defend yourself. You don't have to worry about me" Sakya replied.

"Shrie, you'll know in a few days. I just need to make sure of one thing first" Sakya said.

"I'm lazy to talk to my brother. I won't wonder anymore." Then silence.

Sakya took up the sitting position of please. He intends to spend the night with a medi. Absorb the surrounding prana to replace the little prana used to harass the Lokapatti soldiers in the square.

In the other room, Shrie does the same thing with Sakya. He semedi absorbed prana to replace the prana used to heal the sick population.

For a praboditha, semedi is a better way to rest than regular sleep. With semedi, besides being able to restore prana and fitness of the body and mind, medi still maintain awareness of the surrounding environment. It makes a praboditha more quick to act when danger arises around him.

✤✤✤

The sun rises in the blink of an eye. Shrie opened her eyes and as she sensed someone approaching.

There was a knock on the door, "Vaidya Shrie, I'm Asih. Are you awake?"

"Yes, how can I help you?" ask Shrie.

"Hamba was ordered by the Duke of Sena to help Vaidya Shrie get ready. Today the inauguration of Vaidya Shrie became a resident of the city of Lokapatti. Can I come in?"

Shrie opened the door for Asih, an eighteen-year-old girl standing in front of the door, she brought something neatly folded white and banana leaves to wrap the colorful flowers. Then he went inside.

"Hamba brought clothes for Vaidya Shrie. If Vaidya Shrie wants, I can wash Vaidya's back, "saw Asih.

"What ...? Oh, it's okay. I can do it myself." Shrie felt awkward when she had to be bathed by someone else. He was sixteen years old. Are all the people in town like that? Shrie shook her head.

"Then I prepared the water first" said Asih, then he went into a room. Not long after that, it came out again.

"Vaidya Shrie, the water is ready, and this is for a change of clothes." Asih gave the goods he carried. "Hamba will wait here if Vaidya Shrie still needs a servant" Asih said, pointing to the room and then he gave her a seat.

Shrie immediately walked into the room Asih showed. The room was quite large, as big as his bedroom. The floor is made of black natural stone. There was a small pond in the middle of the room filled with water and flowers floating on it. It seems, Asih sowed it earlier. Shrie undressed and went into the pool.

The water feels fresh, smells fragrant and Shrie feels safe. It's the first time Shrie has taken a bath in an enclosed space. Since childhood in Paraka village, he always bathed in the river with his friends. The same thing he did when he was in Vanaya forest, it was just that he was bathing alone.  Looks like life in the city will be fun, Shrie smiled amusedly.

After finishing soaking Shrie out of the pool. White clothes from Asih. Shrie was curious because the material was thin and soft unlike her leather clothes. Shrie was confused because there was no hole to insert his hand and no pants. The clothes were only a really long rectangle. How do I wear it?

"Well, can you come in?" shrie pinta.

"What is Vaidya?" Get into the room.

"Can you help me put these clothes on?" Shrie said softly.

"Oh sure, Vaidya,"

Asih is very skilled at wearing these clothes as if he was used to them. Shrie's face reddened she felt very awkward. Fortunately Asih's face that remained flat made her heart a little relieved.

As if knowing Shrie's curiosity about the clothes that were being worn on her, Asih told me while twisting the clothes into Shrie's body, "these clothes are only six in this city. Only the Dukes of Sena used it. Reportedly, the makers took the material from the cocoons of certain caterpillars. He learned it when he was a slave of the Vamana race. Unfortunately he could not make the tool maker yet, so this clothes he weaves with his hands and makeshift tools. Imagine, during ten years of living in the city of Lokapatti, he was only able to make six pieces of clothing and all of them were bought by the duke of Sena for his son Attika Shinta. Well, attika Shinta gave this shirt as a gift for you," Asih said at length.

After Asih finished pairing Shrie's clothes. The clothes seemed to stick to Shrie's body, revealing his rudimentary curves. The garment is wrapped around his chest, exposing his shoulders to his left arm while his right shoulder is covered with the tip of the clothes attached to his shoulder.

"Vaidya looks very beautiful," praised Asih, her eyes can not be separated looking at Shrie.

"Thank you," Shrie replied in embarrassment.

"In the meantime, Shinta will come and pick you up at the square. Maybe we can wait for him outside?"

"Good." Shrie steps out of the house followed Asih.
