SAKYA PARAKA: THE LIBERATOR

War Preparation

 

Shrie and Vatsa accompanied by Shinta and Asih sat in the eastern Lokapatti square. They are waiting for the report of the female population who decided to stay.

Some residents have started reporting. However, since the writing system does not yet exist in the human race, they do not record names. Shrie only gave the order that tomorrow morning they should regroup in the town square for the next order. In addition, Shrie tried to calm the concerns of the women who lived that the city of Lokapatti would go through this disaster safely.

"Vaidya Shrie, I came to report."

"Aida Vaidya? Did you come here by yourself?"

Shrie was surprised to see the arrival of Vaidya Aida Yang about to report to her. Shinta immediately approached Vaidya Aida and asked, "Aida, what has happened?"

"I'm finally free, attika Shinta," replied Aida.

Aida then recounted the events that happened.   How he stole a run when Daurjana and his family were busy preparing for the escape out of Lokapatti.

"You don't have to worry anymore. We'll protect you. The Rakshasa will come, but we can win this war. I'm sure." Shrie held Aida's hand and led her into the shade.

"I'm not afraid of death. I'd rather die than live as a slave. I want to help. What am I supposed to do?" said Aida.

"You can come with us." Shinta said while smiling at Aida. She could feel Aida's determination that really wanted to help. He is happy that Aida finally broke free from Durjana, unable to resist Aida's wishes.

By noon, the residents who had reported to Sakya, Shinta and Bayana had returned home waiting for their next order. 

"Balapati Sakya, about 500 people live and ready to help. Unfortunately, their age is an obstacle to war. Some are too old and others too young. Among those with the skills you're looking for are about 10 stone-smiths and 20 wood-smiths." Bayana arrives in front of Sakya and immediately gives a report.

"Well, for rock smarts, I want them to make a 2-meter-high ground furnace, this is the image and size they have to make." Sakya gives a cleaned animal skin to Bayana. On top of the skin are two pictures. First picture a ground furnace shaped like an upside-down cup with one hole on the bottom and another hole on it.  The second image is an image of a cup the size of a large hole above the ground furnace. Each image has its own width and height. "Make sure that the material used comes from clay!" sakya.

"What'sthis? And for what?" Bayana did not understand when she saw Sakya's picture. He knew the ground furnace, but this size, Bayana could not yet imagine its function.

"Furnace this land we'll use to melt the rock. You'll understand when they're done making it. And you don't have to worry, I'll keep an eye on the making."

"good. What about the carpenter? What does balapati want?" bayana asks even though Sakya's explanation has not satisfied her.

Sakya gave Bayana two more animal skins. Like the first skin, in it there are pictures with its size.

"The first thing that must be done by the carpenter is to make wooden bars in accordance with the shape and size in both images. They can start this afternoon. I hope tomorrow afternoon all the logs are ready! I'll check back tomorrow at noon."

"Good." This time Bayana did not ask anymore because she thought the answer would be even more confusing looking at the overall picture that was on the skin of the beast. "What about the rest? What should they do?"

"By becoming two groups. The first group went outside the city gate and started digging as many holes as possible. Each hole should be 2 meters deep with the same width.  The second group went around looking for the remains of the sky rock if there were any, or looked for the black colored stone and brought it back to the city. Remember the blacker the better."

"Searching for stones???" Bayana massaged her forehead with her fingers. He had many questions but he knew that there was not enough time to satisfy his curiosity. Bayana was sure that she would find out the answer later. Bayana says no more instructions from Sakya.

Sakya notices the state of the Lokapatti square that starts to quiet down. To the east, Shinta and the others had finished counting the number of women staying. Not long after, Sakya approached Shinta.

"How many people decided to stay?" ask Sakya to Shinta.

"Siang Bratha Sakya, the woman who decided to stay only about 700 people. I think that's just the family of Lokapatti's soldiers of war and security" Shinta replied. "But we were lucky, Vaidya Aida decided to stay" he continued.

"Oh that's good news, tell him I want to talk." Sakya.

"good. What about the other girls?"

"We're going to make poison? For rakshasa?" Shinta made sure that the order she heard was not wrong.

"Yes, poison and other weapons will be very useful even if the effect only slows down the rakshasa."

"I understand. I'll get Vaidya Aida."

Not long after, Aida arrives in front of Sakya.

"Bratha Sakya wants to talk to me?"

Sakya watched Aida. Sakya can feel the flow of prana inside Aida's body, albeit faintly. He noticed this when he saw Aida for the first time in Lokapatti square.

Aida is a special human being. Usually, a person who has prana in his body is a praboditha. Someone who has opened his chakra point. However, there is a possibility that in 1:100,000 a person will be born with the gift of being able to feel prana and drain it. Not a praboditha.

Since childhood, Aida has been able to feel prana and when she flows prana to someone miraculously the wound or pain of the person will heal quickly. His gift made him a Vaidya. Unfortunately, to date, Aida still does not realize what makes her special.

Sakya knows this. Therefore, he intended to teach Aida to be a praboditha. If Aida succeeds in becoming a praboditha then humanity gains another power that can help free itself from the grasp of rakshasa.

Aida felt awkward seeing Sakya watching him closely. His cheeks began to turn red.

"Bratha Sakya, is there something wrong with me?"

Knowing Aida's awkwardness, Sakya regains consciousness. He turned his face away and said, "Oh I'm sorry, Vaidya. Come with me! I have something to say."

Aida follows Sakya from behind. Sakya stopped when they had arrived outside the city gate, just below the large banyan tree. Then Sakya turned to her and asked, "Vaidya Aida, tell me what you feel right now?"

After saying, Sakya removed the prana from her body which was equivalent to the power of the dual praboditha.

Aida suddenly felt a force pressing down on her body. When he saw Sakya, his body trembled as fear began to enter his mind. Unknowingly he fell down.

"I'm afraid of Bratha Sakya" Aida replied.

"And now what do you feel?"

Aida felt a cold flowing force coursing through her body. Eliminate his fear and give him freshness.

Aida knows this power. He used to use it when treating people who were sick. This power is all around him and he can channel it to the sick. But right now, the power he felt was immense. Aida believes that if she has this much power, she can heal bigger and more severe diseases.

"I feel calm and my body is refreshed."

"Vaidya Aida, the power you feel right now is the prana that is inside me. You can use it for a variety of things and one of them is to treat others, just like you used to. Tell me do you want to develop your strength? The stronger you are, the faster and more people you can heal" asked Sakya.

"Can I?"

"I'm sure you can. Will Vaidya try?

Aida nodded her head. Sakya then tells all about the prana, the chakra point and teaches her how to breathe and mediate to store the prana at the chakra point.

"Vaidya Aida, you can meditate here. I brought you under this banyan tree so you could focus more on feeling the flow of prana around you and this tree is special because there are many pranas around it. Good luck."

"Bratha Sakya, how long do I have to meditate?" Aida stops Sakya from leaving.

"For an ordinary person who has not felt prana, they need about 25 days. But since you're used to it I'm sure you can do it in seven days."

"Thank you, Bratha Sakya. I'll try" Aida replied.

Sakya then proceeded eastward to meet the combat and security forces that had gathered under Abuba's command.
