SAKYA PARAKA: THE LIBERATOR

SAKYA PARAKA: THE LIBERATOR
The Dewi Daru

At the residential complex of the Sena duke where Sakya and Shrie rest, Shinta has arrived to escort Sakya to the celebration of the goddess Daru.

Sakya and Shrie were ready to wait for him to stand on the path of the Sena duke complex.

"Bratha Sakya, are you ready?"  Shinta smiled at him. Shinta looked different today. On his face were two straight red lines from under his eyes to his cheeks.

"Yes, I'm ready" Sakya replied.

"Sister Shinta, why are you putting on your face?" ask Shrie.

"Oh, this is for the celebration ceremony of the goddess Daru. I will dance for Bratha Sakya and the other participants," Shinta replied, "Come, I think they've all been waiting."

Shinta walked towards the horse carriage. This time she went straight up without waiting for Sakya to offer her help. Shinta thought that would never happen.

There was only silence along the way. Sometimes the sound of the train wheels when the road is not flat. Fortunately, it was not a long journey. Not long after they arrived at the main gate of the city of Lokapatti.

The road along the gate was already full of residents. Behind the pandita gate Sava is already standing. In front of him lined up the participants who followed the celebration of about fifty people. Followed by soldiers of the same number.  The last line is the residents who will only release the departure of participants.

Sakya walks into the line of participants while Shinta stands next to Sava's pandita.

"Greetings prospective residents of the city of Lokapatti. Today is a historic day for you. For those of you who want to live a quiet and peaceful life in the city of Lokapatti under the auspices of the goddess Daru, this is the path you must take.

"You must walk towards the Varsani field. There is the hill of the goddess Daru. Place your best offering under the statue of the goddess Daru on the top of the hill, and pray for His grace. The best soldiers of the city of Lokapatti will follow to keep you safe. We have also prepared horse carts that you can use to store your offerings so as not to overload during the journey."

Pandita Sava pointed at some horse carts that were on the roadside. Not too long waiting, the candidates had already finished raising their offerings except Sakya. Somehow Sakya's actions get the attention of the Sava pandita. His eyes bulged and his lips twitched. Sakya did not seem to care.

"Because everything is ready, then the release ceremony of the participants of the Dewi Daru celebration is closed by the performance dance or Shinta."

Pandita Sava finished his speech and let Shinta come forward. The music plays slowly and syahdu, unlike the previous dance that plays loudly as if inviting the audience to dance. Shinta dance as if only to be witnessed and enjoyed by the audience.

Shinta dances with a gemulai. Her hair fluttered in the wind revealing her white collar neck and beautiful face. The fabric that stuck right on his body showed his perfect curves, height. His hands were so unsteady as they moved to the rhythm. It is not wrong if Shinta is called the most beautiful woman in the city of Lokapatti.

The men could only hold their breath. They try to open their eyes as long as possible for fear of losing the moment. As if afraid If they close their eyes, then the opportunity to paint the beauty of Shinta in their eyes will disappear. They want to remember this moment forever.

Shinta moves slowly with the music. There was no smile on his face. Sometimes the sunlight showed the sparkle of her tears dripping down her cheeks. A crying woman makes a man desire to embrace her. But since they could not, they could only swallow his saliva to quell his desires.

Sakya looked at Shinta without blinking. His heart beat skipped a beat, his breathing roared. For an unclear reason, there was suddenly a desire to get close and hug Shinta. He swallowed his saliva trying to resist his will.

"You can walk." Sava's pandita screams as if resuscitating everything. The participants began to walk through the city gate followed by the soldiers of the city of Lokapatti.

Sakya, congratulations to your sister. I'm so happy." Tivara came to him. Tivara is a hunter who is very enthusiastic to become a resident of the city of Lokapatti.

"Thank you, Bratha Tivara. How you doing?"

"Oh, I can't wait ... Oh I see you didn't bring an offering. Take some of mine! In order to have a greater chance of reuniting with your sister," Tivara bargained with Sakya.

"Thank you, Bratha Tivara. I will only pray wholeheartedly to the goddess Daru." Sakya smiled at Tivara.

"If you change your mind, tell me! Believe me, living outside the city is dangerous. No place is safe, animals, rakshasa and sattva can kill you all the time" said Tivara Lirih.

Hearing Tivara's words, Sakya could feel the sadness she felt. "What happened to Bratha Tivara village?" ask Sakya.

Tivara took a deep breath. Then he said, "I live in a small Alpaca village. The village located in the west of the continent of Pangea on the banks of the river Nada ...."

Unable to withstand the grief, Tivara's tears fell down. Tivara tells the story when one day a group of rakshasa arrive at her village. He tried to save his wife and their three children, unfortunately a rakshasa blow made him unconscious bounced into the river Nada. Upon awakening, Tivara returns to her village but the village is reduced to rubble. His wife and son are missing.

For several days, Tivara continued to follow in the footsteps of rakshasa. On the third day he found a pile of bodies that were not intact and his wife was among them. Tivara drowned in deep sadness while burying his wife. If he doesn't remember that his three children are still alive, Tivara may be accompanying his wife. To save her three children, Tivara continues to follow in the footsteps of rakshasa because until finally she meets the patrol of the town of Lokapatti.

In the city of Lokapatti, he tried to collect offerings for Dewi Daru with the aim that he had a safe place to live, after which he will track the whereabouts of his three children, and then he will trace the whereabouts of his three children, rescue his son and take him to the town of Lokapatti.

"I have disappointed my whole family. I hope I'm not too late to save my children. I waited for the Lokapatti soldiers, they promised to help me if I became a Lokapatti citizen. So, here I am now." Tivara wiped her tears.

"We have arrived in the field of Varsani. Bring your offerings from the cart and walk directly east to a hill. At the top of the hill there is a statue of the goddess Daru. Put your offerings there and pray."

Lokapatti soldiers stopped the journey. Some helped the show participants. Those who are ready continue to walk east. While the Lokapatti soldiers just stayed in place.

Sakya and Tivara continue their journey eastward. Not long after, they arrived at the foot of a hill. At the top of the hill goddess Daru there is a large statue in the form of a woman with both hands as if to hug her child. While almost all of the performers eagerly climbed to the top of the hill with their offerings, Sakya remained motionless.

"Rakshasa! Run ..."

Suddenly there was a cry of the participants who had arrived at the top of the hill.
