SAKYA PARAKA: THE LIBERATOR

SAKYA PARAKA: THE LIBERATOR
Lokapatti Square

When the gate starts to open completely, it looks like a 2-meter wide dirt road. It was formed because of the wooden house building that stood on his left right. When it rains, the streets will be full of mud and when it is hot, dust is full of flying. It stretches to the middle of the city of Lokapatti.

"Follow this road to the town square, then turn right. Not far from there is a shelter. You can rest there, your needs will be met ... Eat, drink, and bed until you are self-sufficient. I'm sorry, I can't take you guys, I have more errands." Nayaka said to Sakya while directing the hand to give a hint.

"It's okay we can be alone and thank you" Sakya replied, bowing her body.

Sakya and Shrie follow a dusty path until arriving at the town square. Shrie was quite surprised to the point of gawking. He had not expected the town square to be this crowded.

On the edge of the square, lined tables were filled with various types of merchandise. From food to items made of wood and stone.

Shrie approached the table selling snacks and asked the seller, "Sir, if I want this food, what should I do?"

"You just got into town? If you want something you can trade it for something of equal value. You got something to exchange?" answer the merchant.

Shrie had just come out of the forest, and she realized that she had nothing but clothes on her body. He looked at Sakya ... Face brightens.

Unfortunately, Sakya's condition is not much different from Shrie's. Inside her vicarage pouch were only Calvaraksa pills, other potion pills and Kacana ksidra. The goods Sakya owned had an exchange rate that was much more expensive than this city and its contents.

"Sir, I see you're a little pale, are you sick?" ask Sakya.

"My stomach hurts a little bit but I'm still strong enough, ha ha pain this way won't make me fall and sprawl ... How do you have something to exchange?"

"Sir, what if I can cure you? Will you give us two servings of your food?" Sakya tries to negotiate.

"Hmmm .. Are you a Vaidya? Well, you can try" replied the father.

Vaidya is a call to someone who has the talent to heal someone with prayers or potions that he makes.

The vaidya of the human race is very few and can even be counted on the fingers. A village usually has only one healer. They only learn from the experience or legacy of their parents. If his parents die before teaching his son, then his healing knowledge will be buried with the body of his parents.

The human race does not yet know the writing that can be used as a recorder of knowledge that can be passed on as a legacy. This is what causes the human race to be very behind compared to other races living on the Pangea continent. Writing systems must exist so that existing knowledge can be improved continuously.

Sakya drains the prana into the body of the seller. From there Sakya found out that the father had worked too hard. It is very sad when a food seller is sick as a result of irregular eating and adequate rest. His internal organs are injured because there is not enough food to digest.

If it continues, his internal organs will be damaged and he will eventually fall and be sprawled. Sakya channeled the prana to be used as energy as a substitute for food so that his internal organs can rest, then a little prana to heal the wounds of his internal organs.

The salesman felt the warmth spread throughout his body. His originally painful stomach and the nausea he felt began to disappear. He feels refreshed.

"Young man, your prayers are very powerful. This is for you 3 servings ... Ha ha ha, "praise the father with a laugh. He offered 3 servings of food wrapped in banana leaves.

"Wait ... Whatis yourname? Son if your healing ability is so amazing, you can get anything in this city" said the father, holding Sakya's hand.

"I'm Sakya and this is my sister, Shrie. Is there no Vaidya in this town?"

"There, Vaidya Aida. But, he works on Mara's balapati. To get his help we have to be able to pay for Mara's balapati" The father sighed, "most of us can't afford it."

Sakya asks a few questions about the town of Lokapatti. From the description of the Father, Sakya learned that the city of Lokapatti was led by a Duke of Sena assisted by a pandita Sava and balapati Mara.

The Duke of Sena governs all laws in Lokapatti as well as his judge. Pandita Sava serves as a liaison between the residents of Lokapatti town with Dewi Daru. While balapati Mara is in charge of maintaining security both within the city and outside the city.

These three people are the people in power in the city of Lokapatti. They are Lokapatti's brain, heart and body. "You don't want to make trouble with them!" The father gave his last advice.

After saying thank you, Sakya and Shrie again continued on their way to the shelter hall.

But no one listened, mostly ignoring Grandpa and passing him while a small part stopped just to rebuke, "Go home old man, you talk too much!" Then they continued their journey.

Shrie intends to approach Grandpa but Sakya pulls her hand and continues on her way.

Shrie followed Sakya without comment. Shrie believes that Sakya certainly has her own reasons. Something else caught his attention at the moment.

"Sister, can I learn healing magic?" ask Shrie.

"of course. Healing magic is the same as any other magic. Just like how to grow flowers quickly, you just have to give orders in prana to speed up the healing process of injured body parts" said Sakya.

"Easy then?" Shrie.

"Yes, it's that easy. For a tri praboditha, you can heal almost any internal or external wound of the body. For diseases caused by other things like poison, you need to need additional potions to kill the poison. I'll teach you later." Sakya.

"Can I help those who are sick in this city?" Shrie asked again.

"Ha ha ha, of course you can. But there's a condition." Sakya answered with a smile.

"Rigger ...What condition?" Shrie looked disappointed, her lips pouting.

"Later, we've arrived."

The two of them finally arrived at the shelter.

The shelter is a wooden house measuring 6 meters wide and 10 meters long with a roof of straw. There are 25 beds lined up facing each other. The atmosphere is rather dark because it is illuminated with four torches attached to the four sides of the house wall.

By the time Sakya entered there were already dozens of people inside the hall. They have occupied their own beds. The male occupies the row of beds opposite the direction of the door while the female bed is parallel to the door.

"Greetings ... I'm Tivara from Alpaca. You're a newcomer?" A burly man approached Sakya.

"Greetings  ... We just arrived in the afternoon. I'm Sakya and this is my sister Shrie, we're from Paraka. Is this the shelter?"

"Yes, you and your sister can sleep in an empty bed." Tivara showed me some empty wooden beds. "I'm a hunter. What's your skill?"

"I am also a hunter and my sister is a Vaidya" Sakya replied, after she had occupied an empty bed.

"Wow ... Your sister is amazing, I think you guys will quickly get land here ...  Know it? in order to obtain the land here, one must possess the necessary skill set required by this city. Because Vaidya is so rare I am very sure Duke Sena will give him a piece of land" Tivara said.

"What if someone doesn't have the skills?" shrie asked curiously.

"Ah, you can ask the goddess Daru. You make offerings to the goddess Daru, when the Goddess is satisfied, you are invited to follow the celebration of the goddess Daru. After the completion of the pandita Sava will take you to the temple of the goddess Daru to serve him."

"And if the goddess Daru is not satisfied? What's gonna happen?" Shrie asked back.

"Then you have to get out of town. I suggest you try as hard as you can. This city is the dream city of every human being. Peaceful and safe from rakshasa. You see that?" Tivara pointed at the pile of things at the end of the room."It was my seven-day effort. I'll hand it over to the goddess Daru if the duke of Sena doesn't give me land."

The conversation with Tivara continues about how her village was destroyed by the rakshasa. He and some of the people in the shelter are just a handful of survivors. The conversation ends when Sakya and Shrie decide to take a break.

Actually Sakya and Shrie didn't sleep that night. As a praboditha, not sleeping a few nights will not be a problem. The prana will flow independently to refresh his body.

That night Sakya teaches Shrie how to perform healing magic. He also tells Shrie the conditions that Shrie must meet when healing someone. Shrie can't wait for tomorrow.
