The view at the top of the hill shows the situation that happened Paraka village clearly. Three thatched-roofed wooden houses caught fire, four collapsed, while the remaining forty were still waiting for the fire to creep up and burn them.
At the end of the village, the inhabitants are gathered in the middle. Circled by eight rakshasa men complete with a mace in his hand. Women can only cry. The children screamed for their father and mother, while the men could only shut up.
Vadya quickly went down the hill and ran between the trees to avoid being seen by the rakshasa. He approached a large rock on the outskirts of the village, then climbed it. The stone is high enough so that Vadya can see directly into the field at the end of the village where the residents were gathered.
Vadya pulled the bowstring and her arrows, held her breath and aimed at one of the rakshasa encircling the villagers. After the target was clear Vadya took off his arrow which immediately shot and stuck in one of the heads of a rakshasa who immediately fell down.
Seeing his friend fall, the other giants were surprised, they pointed towards Vadya. Without command, they ran towards the direction Vadya was in. Vadya was silent for a moment watching the giant running towards him as if deliberately waiting. Not long after, Vadya jumped down from the rock and ran quickly between the houses.
Fortunately, the sound of Rakshasa's footsteps was heard by Vadya. The voice became a guide for Vadya to avoid being in a relationship with the Rakshasa who were chasing her. While Rakshasa ran towards the rock where Vadya was standing before, Vadya ran towards the field where the residents were gathered.
Vadya fishing was successful because in the field there is no more Rakshasa. He quickly approached the villagers and broke the rope that bound the villagers.
"Help free the others! Then flee to the Vanaya forest! Hurry along!" Vadya made sure his orders were heard by the rest of the population. Then he went to his wife Laksmi and his son Shrie who was still tied up.
"Father home.." Shrie screamed and embraced her father.
For ten-year-old Shrie, Vadya is his hero. In his eyes, his father was someone who could solve all problems. With the arrival of his father, all the rakshasa here must be dead and their lives will return to normal as before.
Laksmi cried happily to see her husband coming. "Where's Sakya?" tanya Laksmi is curious because she does not see Sakya with Vadya.
"In a safe place, Ssssttt quickly ran away before the rakshasa came back again!"
After severing Laksmi and Shrie's straps, Vadya leads them to escape.
"Vajras..Awas!..."
One of the giants decided to return to the village field. He was surprised to see the villagers starting to break free. It wasn't long for him to know who was responsible. The rakshasa threw his hammer at Vadya and hit his back head.
Laksmi screamed to see Vadya bounce and collapse with a crushed head. Blood poured down on the ground where he was lying. Laksmi runs towards Vadya but the approaching rakshasa quickly grips Laksmi's body and throws it away.
Laksmi's heart stopped beating as her body floated backwards and crashed into the wall of the wooden house until it was destroyed. When he tried to get up, pain invaded his back. He saw his blood flowing to the floor.
A piece of broken wood stuck on his back. Laksmi tried to call Shrie but no words came out of her mouth. Finally the unbearable pain made his vision blurred and he drooped.
Seeing her father and mother drooping over their own pool of blood, Shrie simply fell silent. No screams or tears.
Is this a dream? The worst nightmare among the worst dreams Shrie ever had. He wants to wake up but can't. Shrie could only shut up and tell herself that this was not the reality. "It's just a dream... Just a dream." One day he will wake up from this dream.
"Cursed you, you killed my son." Abi's anger culminates in the death of his son Vadya and son-in-law Laksmi. Abi was all his might running and picked up the mace lying in a puddle of Vadya's blood.
The force is large enough that it takes Abi's two hands to hold it. With all his might Abi swung it into the chest of rakshasa. Rakshasa calmly grasped the swing of the mace with his left hand while his right hand immediately grabbed Abi's head. The giant laughed then lightly squeezed Abi's head. "cracks" a cracked head sounding. Another body with an arched head drooped in a pool of his own blood.
"It's just a dream... It's just a nightmare." Shrie sighed when now she saw her grandfather die adorably.
The giant said something while pointing to the field. Although the residents did not understand what the rakshasa said, they understood the meaning of the giant, they regrouped in the middle of the field. The rakshasa lined them up and tied them one by one. After they were all tied up, one giant started to pull them to start walking.
Most of the villagers brought in were women and teenagers, while the rest, like Vadya and Abi, died horribly. For the rakshasa, the human race is no different like the cow in the eyes of humans. Humans were an easy source of food and slaves.
Rakshasa will feel lucky to find human settlements. Only 10 of their giants could capture dozens of humans. Some were used as slaves to take care of daily work such as skinning animals, or cooking in giant villages. This is because humans feel smarter than other animals. Meanwhile, some others were just the dessert menu of the giants.
