Me, Daffa and Daffa's cousin Rendra were sitting by the river smoking cigarettes looking at some girls playing in the water in front of us. Occasionally chat with them remind the heart – hearts carried by the flow because the flow of water in the river is quite heavy. A girl walked in from behind us and joined them. He smiled while watching the activities. Rendra nudged my hand with her elbow, I looked at Rendra who asked who the new daughter was. I've guessed.
“Nayra” called Daffa which made the daughter Rendra meant to turn her head immediately. Daffa held her t-shirt while laughing at her. Nayra who did not understand the purpose of Daffa again noticed the T-shirt he was wearing. What made me want to laugh, Nayra wore a shirt that looked too small for her and a bear that made Daffa think she was wearing her cousin's clothes.
Nayra looked at Daffa with a sharp look he turned his waist then rolled his eyeballs "it’s trend duhhh“ which made Daffa followed me and Rendra instantly gaping, because Nayra first used English in front of us.
“you look like a little boy” said Daffa laughing which I find rather outrageous because I think Nayra looks very pretty no matter she wears clothes that are too big or too small.
“so what!!!” nayra said with a fierce face and instantly turned her face away from the three of us.
“Crazy, beautiful so much” whispered Rendra to me. “kok I just saw him during here?” rendra was still curious.
“he doesn't live here, his house in Kota” I told Rendra who just stayed here a week for holidays at the home of his Grandmother and grandmother Daffa. Rendra began to smile at Nayra who made me agitated, adding to my rival.
“Nayra...” shouted a boy – boys from behind us, it turns out Adit and some other boys came while carrying the ball, as soon as I stood up to greet them and invite to play ball. Nayra and – daughter child had left the river and walked towards Adit who is his cousin. “d called mama tuh“ continued Adit on Nayra who still walked slowly towards us.
“Eh Nayra, shaman used to dong, right again lebaran“ said Daffa to Nayra who was in front of him. Nayra stuck out her hand with her jutek face. Greeted by Daffa's hand, Nayra raised her hand.
“kium, many sins right?” nayra said to Daffa who was older than her to be confused. Nayra laughed.
“loh, who is older?” the word Daffa evaded the behavior of Nayra who immediately let go of her hand.
“Rey also” said Nayra immediately stuck out her hand at me “many sins right?” said Nayra who made me laugh for a moment, I nodded my head and then put her hand on my forehead which made Nayra become so happy. “tuh kan Daffa, Rey just knew that he was a lot wrong with Nay” said Nayra then shook Rendra's hand and then left. In my heart when else can kiss the hand of an angel.
The angel who turned out to have so many fans, almost all the boys who saw him could not take his eyes off, even Rendra who had just come was very curious about him. Unfortunately, this angel did not care about all those stares or behavior. 14-year-old teenager who is busy with his education, I heard – heard he just won the math Olympics, one of the smartest students at his school, he said, he who does not care about the appearance where many teenagers his age have started to have a crush on someone, and keep the appearance. He even likes to be invited to play bicycles with friends under the hot sun.
The phone call brought me back, I ignored a call from Rena and walked out of the room to Mila's room. It appears that Mila is calling someone and immediately stops the conversation with her interlocutor when she sees me standing on the doorstep.
“tnight where you going?” I asked as I reached into my pocket to pick up my phone, prepare to make a reservation for tonight. Mila and I often hang out at the cafe or dinner at the restaurant on Sunday night, so this time I want to take her because last week night we did not go where – where.
“mm.. Rey, I guess I can't tonight, tomorrow night how?” tawar Mila who made me ask – ask why she always can not if Sunday night. “I want to nemenin Mama, because Adit's sister is just as willing to go to the event” continued Mila trying to explain, because Adit's sister is equally willing to go to the event, I nodded my head in a sign of understanding.
“kalo so I went to your house well.” I said that instantly made Mila a little misbehaved.
“gak no Rey, now tuh mama likes to lie in the room while watching tv, tuh, I'm not good if I nemenin you outside and leave mama in her own room” explanation Mila a little disappointing me but want how else. My phone is ringing again with the same caller, my sister Rena.
“Rey...” said Rena slightly shouted without waiting for me to say hello.
“why?” I said as I opened the door of the room back to my office.
“two more employees are sick, I need this help, the night of the week is really rame. I saw nih” said Rena in a panic tone.
“iya..iya later I go there” said I who made Rena a little relieved.

Rena who was looking busy at the cashier table was seen exhaling her breath when she saw me standing in the doorway. I smiled slightly when I saw my sister Reza who was busy raising an empty glass at the table –, I approached Rena who was already like a lot waiting for me.
“I should how? “ my question on Rena
“Rey can be at the cashier right? Let me help you make a drink” said Rena followed by a nod of my head . Rena eyes pay attention to my appearance tonight and look surprised, tumben once I want to wear sweatshirts and shorts with socks under the calves and Vansku shoes. I shrugged my shoulders a sign of not knowing, I was in the mood in this outfit, maybe tonight I want to look a little younger.
I was focused on my work when Rena patted me on the shoulder.
“already a bit quiet, let me continue in” said Rena while handing over a glass of Caramel Machiato that I usually order if here. Rena slightly lowered her head then whispered. “ada kak Nayra behind” I immediately raised my head looking back looking for the whereabouts of the woman that Rena just meant.
The back of Rena's cafe is an open garden area with – wooden benches, the top of which is fitted with many lights, looks beautiful at night. I walked slowly while carrying my coffee glass towards the back area of the cafe, stopped when I saw the angel I kissed her hand 17 years ago leaning back while closing her eyes.
“ehm..” I tried to relax my throat then took a seat next to Naya. “weekly night itself would it be? I said trying to open up our conversation.
“still weekly nighttime?“ he asked back with a wry smile on his face. “kamu yourself have a girlfriend, even weekly at the cafe sister own” I became aroused to laugh with his innuendo just now.
“if I ask you something, you want to answer?” ask me to start opening up the real questions I want to dedicate to him first.
“soal what?“ Nayra took a sip of her matcha lattenya, with a facial expression that had now turned serious.
“appointment, won't get angry?” ask me again trying to convince myself and himself that he will answer my question later. Nayra simply replied with a nod of her head a sign of agreeing. “what happened in Sydney?” it's a question I've always wanted to ask from the first time I've seen him come to this town.
His facial water seemed to change, becoming a little sad. He seemed to be trying to calm himself down by exhaling his breath several times. Things that are difficult to answer indeed, I will do the same if there is in his position. “I have to start from where well?” he said confusedly once in a while he looked contemplating.
“you can start from the thing you think is easiest to talk about” I try as patient as possible waiting for him to tell a story, we have a lot of time here.
“we arrived – arrived to get a complaint from our partners regarding the payment of unfinished venue paid. I think that it’s okay, because our wedding is still 3 days away and we can pay for it after the end of the event because we have cooperated several times with such a payment method. But it turns out that the problem is not that, after checking there are two payments that have not been resolved with that venue. While taking care of the payment and finances is Mark, my future husband at that time” Nayra was silent, even with me.
Some of the question marks in my head were answered little by little. I know Nayra had a similar business when she chose to settle in Sydney after graduating from college, and only returned after – years of living there, which had made me confused, which had made me confused, why he who has been successful there choose to return to this city and start a new business with his old friends.
“then, what happened?” I'm becoming more curious.
“i tried to contact Mark who seemed to already know this was going to happen. He disappeared without explanation. And it turns out that after checking there are several venues that have not been paid“ I was surprised by his statement just now. How could he be so cruelly betrayed like this.
“dan Mark?” where the fucker ran.
“I checked the fund flow of his account, and found that a large amount of money had been deposited into the account under the name of Claudia Phelps, my good friend during the Sydney” Nayra seemed to be stroking his chest, looks so riled up with her own story. “I went looking for Claudia in her apartment, but she wasn't there. Then I went to his parents' house and I didn't think I was confused to find out what was really going on. Mark married Claudia, which we were supposed to marry on that day” I really wanted to hug her, calm her down. Imagining how he painfully accepted it himself in a land where none of his family existed, betrayed by the man he regarded as family.
I got him some mineral water to make him calmer. “you want to know the funnier part no?” nayra said as she put down her drink. I know the funny word he said just now is the worst thing. I nodded my head in a sign of agreement. “they've been cheating on me for a year, until finally Claudia was pregnant and Mark wanted to take responsibility because that's his son” Nayra's view seemed to be laughing, this is a very difficult thing. “funny well, even though he proposed to me in front of my parents. Even I dared to fight with my parents, to be willing to let me marry him in Sydney without them present, he was very persistent in convincing them, promising to take care of me, make me happy and see how happy I made it?” nayra's tone of voice started to tremble. I pulled him into my arms while patting – patting his shoulder.
“you deserve better Nay” whispered me while stroking his long hair. Nayra was crying in my arms.
“how can those whom I have considered my family treat me like this? I.., I don't think“ I keep stroking her hair, I want it to feel like I hit Mark the fucking bule.
“you must remain grateful if indeed you do not marry the man – goddamn man, even worse if he is married and he cheated on you” Nayra let go of my embrace and wiped her tears.
“yah. I sometimes think that God loves me so much. That's why I was shown her behavior before I married her” I nodded my head in agreement and then took her a tissue.
“good people will meet a good soul mate“ I said thrusting mineral water at him.
“he said I was too careless, that he cheated on me.” I'm not surprised by that, because Nayra is really that cute when dating. He is not the type who will call first, but I know if he is right – is right in love, a little – Cueknya Nayra he will do anything for the person he loves, including fighting with both parents.
“aku no comment about that one” said quietly, which made Nayra surprised then laughed.
“am I that bad?” Nayra half yelled in disbelief at my answer. His voice sounded after crying.
“ku tuh cuek, but if already love willing to do anything for the person you love” obviously I try to please him. Nayra seemed to nod in agreement with what I said just now. “then, what about the money that Mark took?” I'm still curious about this part.
“money they have spent“ Nayra sighed and exhaled. "i spent all my savings to pay the debt – debt of the company until finally selling the apartment I bought with great difficulty and here I am, he said, coming home in a state of bokek without a dime in my savings” I ran out of sentences to hear the words of Nayra just now, my heart became so crumpled to see him who had always looked cheerful turned out to store memories that were so painful.
“ everything gonna be okay now” I said trying to cheer her up tonight.
Our conversation stopped around 1pm. I feel guilty for inviting him to chat for – hours and must be willing to see him drive a car in this jam. I intended to drive her but she insisted on going home in her own car.
“emang true well said the saying, first love loves deep” seloroh Rena from behind when I saw me still standing in the cafe, still see the car Nayra is getting away. I looked at him with annoyance. Dare – how dare this little boy.
