22. Evil plan.
A Mother's cry, rest assured that a mother's cry can change everything. Being a fool and just being a rabbit in the presence of the husband, is not the desire of a Kirana. Living life under pressure, was a compulsion that Kirana had to take.
I don't know what Abhimanyu will do after this. What Kirana knows, she overhears a conversation about a bad plan that the husband wants to arrange, against Petunia's husband, her daughter-in-law.
"Don't do something that wretches other people, mas. I don't want you to make Nia hurt too deep. The boy has come out of this house, served the punishment by not feeling our warmth anymore. I beg you, I beg you not to disturb him. We already dumped her after she married Farel. Don't hurt Farel, he's innocent to us" Kirana said flatly, trying to persuade her husband to understand.
Instead of understanding, Abhimanyu was more and more ignorant, the man looked intently at the woman who had given him two beautiful daughters.

Accidentally, Adam passed by Abhimanyu's study, hearing the voice of his father and mother-in-law's quarrel.
When the name Petunia was mentioned, Adam's ears and brain were suddenly sensitive. The response was so quick. Until Adam tried to steal what was debated by Abhimanyu and Kirana.
His heart suddenly ached, after all that Adam had heard. To harm the innocent Farel, obviously it worries Adam.
If anything happens to Petunia let alone Farel, I will never forgive myself.

Abhimanyu stepped closer to the door, and Adam immediately stepped aside to hide behind a large urn not far from the door of Abhimanyu's study. Adam tried to think fast, how to protect Nia.
Kirana was stunned for a moment, realizing that Abhimanyu had been unable to be prevented. Kirana doesn't know who to ask for help with. Even God seemed to ignore this time, as if what Nia experienced, had become her destiny. How lyrical.
With a limped step, Kirana stepped out, and accidentally found Adam glued to the outside of the room.
"Billy, have you been here since?" ask Kirana later. Finding Adam nearby made Kirana think that maybe Adam was the one she could ask for help.
"Yes, sorry. I'm sorry, Mom. I overheard Dad and Mom talking" Adam replied honestly. Adam approached Kirana, wailing to make sure that no one was around, including Abhimanyu.
"Follow Mom in the kitchen for a second. I want to talk to you," Kirana asked as she turned to go to the kitchen. Only the kitchen is the safest place right now, to discuss sensitive matters for Kirana and Adam. Abhimanyu never even set foot in the kitchen if he needed something.
Luckily the kitchen was quiet, no one could steal what Kirana was going to tell Adam.
"You hear what Abi's gonna do to your sister-in-law, Petunia?" kirana asked half a whisper.
"Yes, Billy heard it. Stay sorry, Mom. Adam stood by Mother's side and didn't want Nia to be harmed just like that" Adam replied later.
"Billy will, ma'am," Adam answered with confidence. Whatever happens, Adam will protect Nia, with or without Kirana's request.
Now, Adam feels increasingly guilty to Nia, also confused how he must tell the truth to the wife's family.

The man had already decided, that he would tell all the facts about the child that Nia was carrying, to Abhimanyu before the child was born.
Whether the decision was right or not, it was clear her marriage to Kia had been wrong from the start.
Why only realize after it's too late? If Nia had been honest from the beginning about her pregnancy, it probably wouldn't have been like this, having a bad influence on the situation in the future.
But you must not judge others for your mistakes, Adam. You can't blame Nia. You're the one who's guilty of her.
