Chapter 99. The Distress That Drinks

Arriving at home, Edward carried Kanaya out of the taxi, hastily walking into the house.

"Why Kanaya Ed?"exclaimed Mommy Lingga as she approached Kanaya who was in Edward's arms.

Mommy Lingga, Daddy Ded, Opa Hendra as well as Grandpa Pratama, and Grandma Ayu had just arrived in France, they were sitting on the living room couch waiting for the arrival of Kanaya and Edward and Cintya and Richard. when they had just arrived, the waiter said they left in a hurry and did not say where they were going.

"Kanaya passed out mom," Edward said. Laying it on the living room couch and shouting to the housemaid.

"why can?"ask Daddy Ded.

He then walked up to his daughter.

"Nay" cried Mommy Lingga, who had been beside Kanaya. His hand stroked Kanaya's head gently and said again.

"Wake up son, it's mommy."

"Edward, what's wrong with my grandson?"ask Opa Hendra.

"Gerald's been kidnapped by the cake" Edward said.

"What..!"exclaim Opa Hendra, Daddy Ded, and others.

"Why can?"dad Jonathan asked in a cold and sharp tone staring at Edward's face.

"Either Dad, this morning my head ached and I rested in my room and when I asked Kanaya where Gerald was, Kanaya told my son to go to the park, that's where I found out that Gerald was kidnapped" Edward replied.

Then took a deep breath, and exhaled it, then said again.

"the night I saw a shadow in front of the house, I accidentally saw it when I was going up to the room. Then I went out and at the door I found a piece of paper."

"What's it say?"ask Daddy Ded sharply.

"They threaten our lives" replied Edward.

"So when I saw you sitting here pensive, you were thinking about that?"richard asked coldly and sharply looking at Edward. Then exclaim.

"Why don't you tell me, huh..!"

"Actually when you enter the room, I will tell you everything, but I wait for the right time because I do not want to make Kanaya worry. That's why I asked Gerald if Kanaya should go look for him" Edward said. Then continue his words.

"And it was unexpected that my son was not at home and had not returned until that afternoon."

Soon the housekeeper came to them.

"Sole, messieurs, madames. Puis-je vous aider ?" (Sorry gentlemen, ladies, is there anything I can help you with) asked the housekeeper.

"Oh Seigneur..! Qu'est-il archive to Mme Kanaya?"( O Lord what happened to the lady of Kanaya ) asked the servant.

"Prenez l'huile eolienne que Kanaya utilise habituellement," (give me the wind oil that Kanya used) said Cintya.

"Ok Madame," (good mistress) said the waiter then in a hurry to run towards a medicine box attached to the kitchen wall.

Then looking for the eucalyptus oil that Kanaya always provided in the medicine box. After getting the eucalyptus oil.the servant again ran up to Kanaya in his mind said in French.

"It's only now that I feel that if this house is too big, Miss Kanaya, I hope you're okay, madam."

Arriving in the living room where Kanaya was lying, the housemaid gave Cintya eucalyptus oil. Then Cintya opened the lid of the eucalyptus oil and put it on Kanaya's nose.

"Nay, wake up son," said mommy Lingga, then turned her eyes to Daddy Ded, with a pleading gaze and said.

"Dad help my daughter Dad."

"Mom.., be patient without mommy saying anything Daddy will find my granddaughter" replied Daddy Ded.

"Gerald, Gerald where are you son," Kanaya said, her eyes still closed.

"Dear to wake up" said Edward.

While stroking Kanaya's face both eyes looked at Kanaya's face with a sad look clearly visible in both eyes, which was filled with worry.

"Where's my son?"kanaya asked Edward.

"Relax that, we will find our son" replied Edward.

Kanya looked at Edward's face, a gaze filled with sadness. Then saying.

"My son hasn't eaten he must be starving out there, I want to find him and feed him."

"Honey don't be like this, believe me we'll find our son" Edward said. As she grabbed Kanaya, she carried her in her arms.

Soon afterwards the cry of Kanaya broke, the cry of a mother who lost her child, the lamentation of a mother who worried for her child.

A few minutes later his crying stopped and his face changed without the slightest expression.His hands clenched his gaze straight ahead. Edward who felt Kanaya's change stretched his arms and looked at Kanaya's expressionless face, but his eyes implied an indignation he could no longer hold.

All eyes looked at Kanaya worriedly looking at Kanaya's face with such an expression, Mommy Lingga and Cintya shed tears looking at Kanaya's situation then Mommy Lingga said.

"Dear."

Then stroked Kanaya's back gently, the elusan of a mother who tried to calm her daughter.

Then Kanaya's eyes went around staring one by one in the living room and said coldly.

"I'm fine."

"You don't have to worry, because I'm fine." in the same tone.

"Cin, call Mark," Kanaya said again in the same tone.

"Well Nay," said Cintya.

Then Cintya reached into her pants pocket and picked up her phone and contacted Mark.

"Dad, I borrow your men" Kanaya said, turning her face to Dady Ded.

"Sister Richard and Edward you move" Kanaya said.

"As you wish princess" Richard said.

Then they were silent with their own thoughts while Daddy Ded, Richard and Edward were busy with their phones.

Suddenly Pratama's grandfather made a sound, making everyone turn to him.

"Tomorrow morning you will come with me to meet Bernie" he said coldly.

"It's time you introduced yourself to her and we'll ask her for help" she said in a very calm tone.

But his calmness, like a stream of water flowing quietly, but it has a different meaning.

Soon the calm will be a very powerful wave like a devastating flood.

Then his eyes looked one by one in the guest room.

Grandma Ayu looked at her husband's face and then held his hand trying to calm Grandpa Pratama.

Then Pratama's grandfather turned to his wife and said.

"I'm fine." Then smile.

Past trauma has not disappeared from the memory of Pratama Grandpa his intuition as a descendant of the Kasendra Family makes him very sensitive. Then Grandpa Pratama looked at Kanaya and said.

"Pacify yourself, you won't be able to think if all your thoughts are filled with anger."

Hearing Grandpa Pratama's words, Kanaya turned her face and looked at Grandpa Pratama's face.

"Rest." said Grandpa Pratama in a very calm tone.

While Kanaya just silently looked at Grandpa Pratama without saying a word, they looked at each other suddenly Kanaya's eyes glittered, making everything in the room shiver, making everyone shivering, Opa Hendra who witnessed that could only sigh deeply and then exhale.
