Chapters 18. It's All Too Late

"Dad, mom, sister, Gerald aunty Cintya will find a school for you, just like you want, son" Kanaya said.

"No, Daddy's gonna be looking for my granddaughter" said Daddy Ded.

"Well then," said Kanaya then kissed the head of her son Gerald, then as usual, Kanaya Salim on both her parents and her brother. With Kanaya's leisurely steps towards her beautifully parked car in the courtyard of her family mansion, her personal driver Pak Iwan has been waiting for her in front of his sports car.

"Good Morning miss," said Mr. Iwan as he opened his car door.

"Sir Iwan at home, Gerald is not at school today, I will move his school," Kanaya said, as she raised her hand asking for a car key and entered her car and drove it at a moderate speed, in the middle of the trip Kanaya took her Handphone which was placed on the dashboard of her car, then called Cintya.

"Hallo" said Cintya.

"I'm heading to the Kusuma Group" Kanaya said, hanging up the phone and focusing on the steering wheel and streets of the capital.

Arriving at Kusuma Group Kanaya also parked his car, and out of the car, all eyes looked at him with a look of admiration of his body wrapped in a dark purple work stellan, paired with a white shirt, combined with a white shirt, a dark purple blazer wrapped his slim body like a Spanish guitar, tod pants, high heels, long hair tied one, his face slender with natural thin makeup adds to his beauty.

With a firm step without heeding the look of admiration directed at him, Kanaya entered the Company and approached the Receptionist.

"Good Morning," Kanaya said coldly at the Receptionist her gaze sharply intimidated.

"Good morning miss," said the receptionist a little nervously looking at Kanaya's gaze.

"I want to meet with Mr. Putra," Kanaya said in a cold tone.

"Have you made an appointment with Mr. Kusuma miss?" ask Receptionist.

"Not yet" Kanaya said as she stared at the receptionist coldly and with an intimidating look.

"But miss, you have to make an appointment with Mr. Kusuma in advance if you want to meet him he is a busy person," said the receptionist who ventured to look at Kanaya. Kanaya who heard the words of the Receptionist tapped her fingers on the reception desk while arranging sharp, intimidating the Receptionist then her eyes glanced at the name tag pinned on her left shirt.

"Your name is Wati, isn't it?" kanaya asked, her eyes could not be seen the receptionist's eyes.

"True miss," said the Receptionist, lowering his face as he said in his heart.

"God as long as I work at this company, the first time I see such a gaze, it makes you feel afraid to look at it."

Soon a man approaches her in his playboy-like style and approaches Kanaya.

"Miss wants to see Mr Kusuma?" asked the man, his eyes could not help but look at the beautiful face of Kanaya with a seductive look, then the man brought himself closer to Kanaya, Kanaya who realized it was just glancing at the man with the tail of her eyes.

"Tell Kusuma's son I want Kanaya to meet him, or I contact him myself" Kanaya said coldly and with a piercing look at the receptionist.

"Well miss," said the receptionist.

"There is no need for me to take him to Mr. Kusuma's room" said the man, winking one eye at the reception. The receptionist just lowered her face, as if afraid of the man.Hearing the man's words, Kanaya turned her face and raised her eyebrows.

"Master Son Kusuma my uncle happened to want to see him" said the man.

"Include my name Eden" said the man, extending his hand, Kanaya glanced at the man, then stepped her foot toward the CEO's special elevator door.

"Wait for the lady" said the receptionist.

Then the man named Eden chased Kanaya face looking briefly at the reception, the stairs signaled that the receptionist was silent in the place not chasing Kanaya.

Shortly after the elevator door opened Kanaya entered the elevator followed by Eden.

"Cheap men" Kanaya said in her heart.

Eden, who felt tortured and considered not in the elevator, looked at Kanaya from top to bottom.

"Beautiful" he said, his face smirked cunningly, then he approached Kanaya.

"Hemmm...., what business does Miss want to see my uncle?" asked Eden with an overbearing tone of emphasis on the word Uncle

While Kanaya did not care about Eden's question. His gaze straight ahead staring at the elevator door, feeling ignored by Kanaya, Eden was getting closer to Kanaya shifting her body so that their hands touched Kanaya also shifted her body away from Eden. The more curious Eden shifted her body to the side. Then Kanaya turned her body, her hands crossed and her eyes stared coldly and sharply at Eden.

"Do you have no shame?" kanaya asked in a sharp tone.

"My embarrassment is missing seeing this beautiful face" Eden replied with a seductive smile.then her hand tried to touch Kanaya's cheek with her index finger, but before the finger touched Kanaya's cheek, a slap hit Eden's handsome face.

"You dare slap me?" eden said, bringing his body closer to Kanaya.

"Loose and shameless men like you, deserve a slap from all women," said Kanaya coldly staring at Eden's face, her legs slightly bent and bugg...,kanaya's legsticks beat up a Kramat heirloom for men.

"Ahhhhhh," cried Eden as she bent her body both hands holding her Kramat heirloom, then raised her head and looked up at Kanaya with anger.

"You dare to do that..! you'll feel the consequences later. You don't know who I am yet" Eden said in a threatening tone. Hearing the words of Eden Kanaya just stared at him flatly without the slightest expression. Then raising his eyebrows, soon the elevator door opened, with a relaxed step Kanaya out of the elevator leaving Eden in pain in the elevator.

Kanaya continued to walk regardless of who saw her until she reached the front of the Company Owner's room. Kanaya stopped and approached the secretary who was sitting on the chair behind the desk. The secretary looked at Kanaya with an unblinking look, then Kanaya flicked her finger in front of the secretary's face.

"Is the Lord's Son Kusuma inside?" kanaya asked with a flat and cold face.

"Yes inside" said Secretary Kusuma Group, nodding his head.

Kanaya who saw the secretary like a fool then shook her head and left, approached the door of the room Son Kusuma her hand opened the door and entered the room, The secretary who realized his stupidity gasped in shock and rushed after Kanaya who had entered the CEO Room of Kusuma Group.

"Can't you knock on the door before you get in?"asked Putra Kusuma without lifting his face from the file he read.

"Say what's wrong?" ask again.

"Sorry sir, it is not me who did not knock on the door, but this lady is without excuse to enter your room, sir" said Secretary Putra Kusuma.

Kusuma's son lifted his face from his report file and looked at the door, his face was shocked to see Kanaya coming, Kusuma's son spontaneously rose from his Pride seat and approached Kanaya then extended his hand. Kanaya nonchalantly just stared at the hand of Son Kusuma and then crossed her arms while saying.

"I don't want to talk, sir," said Kanaya with her flat face, her tone full of pressure.

"What do you mean you came to my son's school?" ask Kanaya.

"I know you're the owner of that school but at that time your direction wasn't towards the school boardroom, was it?" asked Kanaya again while looking intently at the face of the Son of Kusuma.

"Without reducing my respect for you it is better to give up on what you want to do and plan" Kanaya said.

secretary Kusuma Group who is still in his boss room looks at Kanaya, then turns to look at Putra Kusuma.

"And does your company have a secretary who always wants to hear every guest remark of this Company?" ask Kanaya.

Hearing Kanaya's words and Kusuma's son glanced at his Secretary and with a movement of his head sent his Secretary out. The secretary also stepped on her feet walking out, leaving her boss' room.

"Sit down first" said Putra Kusuma to Kanaya.

"Sorry sir, I don't have much time to sit down and talk with you, I came here just to remind you not to do all your plans" Kanaya said with great emphasis.

" Excuse me," said Kanaya then stepped out of the room, then her steps stopped when she heard Putra Kusuma say.

"I know, you and your family hate me and my son and I don't justify all my son's deeds, but your Son is my grandson and I want to get to know him more closely, I have a right to see it and Edward has a right to know his own son." said Kusuma's son as he looked at Kanaya with a sincere smile.

"Regardless of how she was born but to me she is my granddaughter, nothing can change that. Kanaya, who heard the words of Kusuma's Son in front of the door, without turning her body, said.

"It's too late, sir, since your son insulted and humiliated me, and asked me to abort my womb," kanaya said in a cold tone without even letting her face open the door of the room and walked out.

"It's never too late for responsibility and I'm currently educating my son to realize what responsibility means, and even I'm willing to do whatever it takes to teach him a lesson," said Putra Kusuma as he walked towards the door and looked behind Kanaya's back until the elevator opened and Kanaya entered it and turned her around, still having time to look at each other from afar, Kanaya looked at the sad gaze of a Kusuma Son before the elevator door closed.

While in the elevator, a smile and a sad look of a Son of Kusuma appeared to him in Kanaya's heart.

"Am I wrong to do this?"

Shortly after the elevator door opened Kanaya stepped her foot out of the elevator door, her steps halting when a man blocked her path. With a sharp look, Kanaya looked at the face and then walked to her right side to avoid the man, The man walked to the left side trying to block Kanaya's steps.

"I want to talk to you" Edward said, staring at Kanaya. The man who blocked Kanaya's path was Edward. Kanaya who heard that only looked coldly at the man her expression was flat not implying the slightest expression, her gaze was just a mocking and scornful look.

"Side," Kanaya said in a cold and repressive tone.

"Let me talk to you for an hour" Edward said.

"Even a second I don't have time to talk to you" Kanaya said. Then stepping his feet left the pensive Edward staring behind Kanaya's back away unseen. Then Edward turned his body and pressed the elevator button, before long the elevator door opened he entered the elevator in his mind wondering what Kanaya was doing in her Papinya company.
