Chapter 43. The Heart of Edward Kusuma
A tense and depressing atmosphere, the cries changed with relief and an ornate smile on their lips. Kanaya who had just opened her eyes, opened her eyes and looked at the people around her.
"Mom" said Gerald.
"Don't do that again" he said again, crying. Kanaya looked at her son and extended her hand. Then Gerald held Kanaya's hand and kissed her many times.
"You scared me mam" he said, sobbing.
"Don't cry son" Kanaya said stammeringly.
"Princess, please don't scare us" Richard said.
"You made a mami hangers and almost had her heart dislodged" said Mommy Lingga as she sobbed crying looking at her beloved daughter's face with a sad look.
"Princes don't do it again, you almost made Daddy lose his life" Daddy Ded said, staring at his daughter's face, her tears could not be imagined if she lost her only daughter Kanaya, after 10 years of disappearing and almost losing her again.
Kanaya scrunched her forehead as she grimaced at the figure she hated so much, the man who had made her stay away from her family. Then Kanaya closed her eyes, not knowing what she was feeling. Everything that happened was like a flash of a movie sequel, imagined how he wanted to touch his son, and also his parents who were crying but his hands could not touch them.
When he wanted to talk to his brother, his voice was not heard, everything was seen by him but Kanaya could not touch them, Gerald's shout, his Mommy's shout, his Daddy's shout and more surprisingly, the scream, the scream, and also the cry of a man in his past that has made him fall down, cry and feel humiliated, humiliated. Everything the man said. Then Kanaya opened her eyes looking at Edward who was smiling at her and looking down at Kanaya's face. Shortly after, the Doctor and Sister enter, then approach Kanaya's bed vault
"Excuse me ladies and gentlemen, please don't huddle like this, let the patient rest" said the doctor. Then the doctor put on his stethoscope and examined Kanaya, very carefully, then looked at the monitor screen with a smile.
"Remove the monitor Sus," the doctor told the nurse. The nurse took off the cable attached to Kanaya's chest.
"How's my daughter Doc?" ask Mommy Lingga anxiously.
"Your daughter's condition is stable, miss, her blood pressure is back to normal, her heart is back to normal at first we are very worried about Miss Kanaya's heart, because Miss Kanaya's heart is very weak, maybe because of the shock or because of the impact, but Praise God, at this time everything has returned to normal, and to make sure everything's okay, we're going to do a cardiac X-ray and a CT scan of the patient's head."Doctor Say.
"Do your best for my daughter Doc" said Daddy Ded.
"You don't have to worry, our Master will do his best for your Princess, so we'll excuse you" said the Doctor, then walked out of Kanaya's room.
All who listened to the words of the Doctor smiled with relief. Kanaya just closed her eyes, while Gerald and Edward did not move in the slightest from Kanaya's side. Shortly after, Kanaya fell asleep. Seeing Kanaya fall asleep, Daddy Ded and Mommy Lingga and Edward's parents walk out of Kanaya's room, leaving Edward and Gerald behind.
"Son, rest on that couch, Papi will keep your Mami here" Edward said.
"No, I'm not here" said Gerald, staring at his mother who did not want to move from Kanaya's side.
"Well Papi's going to the cafeteria, you haven't had lunch yet, have you?" ask Edward.
"I'm not hungry" said Gerald.
"All right," said Edward. He then walked out of Kanaya's room.
"Where are you going, son?" ask Mami Edward.
"I'm going to the hospital cafeteria, I'm going to buy food for Gerald mam, I'm taking Kanaya" Edward said.
"I'll go with you" said Richard in a cold tone and walked to the cafeteria, followed by Edward.
"Mr Deddy, I know my son has done a lot of wrong to your daughter, but can't the master and mistress give him one chance to right all his wrongs," said Putra Kusuma while staring at Daddy Ded expectantly.
"Let her take responsibility for what she did to Kanaya" said Mami Edward.
"I will give him permission to account for his actions to my daughter, but if he does something wrong one more time, then I will punish him back mercilessly, it will be even worse than what I have done to him," said Daddy Ded as he returned the gaze of Putra Kusuma.
"I will guarantee it Master, he will not make mistakes again" said Putra Kusuma firmly.
"All right, I hold your word" said Daddy Ded.
So far Daddy Ded has been looking for information about how Putra Kusuma taught Edward everything Daddy Ded has done, nothing has escaped Daddy Ded's eyes, except when Kanaya disappeared she lost information because her own daughter shut down all access to information about her so Daddy Ded lost track.
He only learned all the information accidentally when an informant told him, when assigned to find who bullied his favorite grandson by saying illegitimate children, while attending school in France first.
Since then Daddy Ded has always anticipated, especially when he finds out Kanaya wants to leave home when a magazine spreads the news about Kanaya and her granddaughter.
Meanwhile, Edward, who was in the Canteen with Richard, sat at a table waiting for their order and drank coffee.
"I know you don't believe me" Edward said, staring at Richard's face.
"But believe me, there is not the slightest intention to hurt your sister, maybe you don't believe me if I say everything I do not just as a form of regret, I'm sorry, and I want to correct my mistake.
"But when I was in Singapore, I was thinking about all our meetings and that's when I realized that if I loved your sister, then I left my job there and came back here, but before I started to see him, the accident happened to Kanaya. "I realized that I love your sister very much, and you know when that jerk doctor said Kanaya died I wanted to really strangle her neck, and stuff her mouth and destroy the hospital," said Edward. His eyes were blank, his hands holding a spoon and stirring the coffee in a cup.
"If my Kanaya really died then, I can't imagine what's going on in my life," he said again, spilling all his sadness at a glimpse of how his heart almost stopped when he heard the doctor's words. Then Edward looked at Richard's face and said.
"Whatever I will do to get your sister, I don't care about your threats or with you and your family, I will fight for her, I don't want to lose my Kanaya mother to my son, Listen Richard Bimantara I love your brother and I won't let you take Kanaya away from me" Edward said, staring intently at Richard.
Richard who saw Edward's gaze was surprised to hear everything he said, all this time he was friends with Edward had never seen Edward like this.
"I know who you are and also the power of your family, but I Edward Kusuma will not fear you and your family. Kanaya is mine and she will belong to me, even if you are her brother, there is no right to prevent me from getting it" Edward said.
"And once again I say that Kanaya belongs to me, will be mine" Edward said.
"Whoever it can't take it from me, not you and your parents" he said.

"What if Kanaya rejects you?" ask Richard.
"I will fight for it" replied Edward. Richard looked at Edward in both eyes, his fragility and his firmness, his great love visible in both eyes. Then Richard said.
"If you love my sister, fight for her, and keep her, not just you who love my sister, there are a lot of men out there chasing her, if you don't tie him up, don't blame me if one day a man asks my parents and marries him" Richard said, looking at Edward with a mocking look and then said again
"And your cousin Eden, and James Lawrence, be careful of him, you know I'm watching him right now" Richard said.
"Eden's? James's? what's he doing?" ask Edward.
"And how do you know James?" ask Edward.
"Our eyes are everywhere, and it looks like your family's pedigree is really weird" Richard said.
"It looks like my niece is starving" he said, turning to the waiter who walked toward the door carrying a bag of crackers filled with their ordered food boxes.
Soon the waiter came with their order, so Edward took out 10 pieces of red money and handed them to the maidservant.
"Master the money is very much" said the waiter.
"Take it and share it with others, too" said Edward. He got up from his chair and walked with Richard back to Kanaya's room.
