Chapter 42. Wailing and Grief.

"Mommy, wake up mam" said Gerald, his tears did not stop dripping, his hands clutching Kanaya's palms. Edward looked at his son with a sad look, his hands embracing Gerald, saying.

"Patience son, believe me your mother will be healed" said Edward.

Shortly thereafter, titttt sounds were heard, on the monitor screen and in a straight line. Edward was surprised and turned to the monitor, then shouted..

"Nay wakes up Nay," she screamed and then runs out, looking for a doctor.

Daddy Ded and Mommy Lingga and Richard outside were sitting in the waiting chair, shocked to hear Edward's screams, and increasingly surprised to see Edward running without heeding them. They rushed into Kanaya's room. Gerald yelled to his mother, shaking Kanaya's body.

"Mom, wake up mam, don't stay with me, mamiiiiiii, wake up!" gerald shouted as he shed tears.

"Don't stay with me mam, please open your eyes mam" said Gerald in a wailing tone.

"Nay woke up Nay," cried Mommy Lingga and Deddy Dad, and Richard.

"Princess wakes up" cried Richard.

"Come on, kid, get up" said Daddy Ded. They cried while shaking Kanaya's body. Shouts and cries echoed in Kanaya's room, before long the doctor and nurse entered in a hurry to reach Kanaya's gurney.

"Excuse me, let me check on the patient" the doctor said.

"Suster of cardiac drive," exclaimed the doctor.

The nurse also gave a heart booster to the doctor.The heart drive device was attached to Kanaya's chest. The doctor then spurred Kanaya's heart.

"Let's go, lady, get up" said the doctor.

The doctor did it again, again and again but the straight line on the monitor screen still signifies a straight line, there is not the slightest movement, so the doctor was forced to look at them and say.

"I'm sorry we did what we could do" the doctor said, staring at All in Kanaya's room.

"It is with regret that we declare the patient has died" said the doctor.

"Duwarrrr, it seemed that in the lightning strike everyone who heard the doctor's words, was astonished in disbelief.

"Notkkkkkk," cried Mommy Lingga.

"That's impossible, my daughter can't die, you lie to the doctor" exclaimed Mommy Lingga as she hugged Kanaya's body.

meanwhile, the nurse removes the infusion and medical equipment attached to Kanaya's body.

"You lied to the doctor" Edward said, pulling the Doctor's collar and staring.

"So I won't die, he has to heal, do something doctorrrrr," cried Edward then pushed the Doctor to his knees.

"Wake up I'll beat you up, Kanaya can't leave me, you know I'm going to destroy this hospital" cried Edward, as he waved his hand at the doctor, a hand holding Edward's hand.

"Enough Edward" exclaimed Kusuma's son, Papi Edward.

The one holding Edward's hand was Kusuma's son who came along with his wife Narindra Kusuma.

When Edward contacted him and told him about what happened to Kanaya at the time they were in Germany on a business trip with his wife. At that time they immediately left for the airport back to Indonesia. And how surprised when entering Kanaya's room to see the situation is tense and when seeing the condition of his son and also the cry of Gerald, Daddy Ded, and also, Mommy Linga and Richard then they understood that Kanaya was gone.

"I'm gonna beat up that doctor Kanaya can't go, let go of me Pi" Edward said

"Stop son, this has become the destiny of Kanaya" Papi Edward said.

"Destiny? where fate is Pi, I just found it, I came back here for Kanaya, then is destiny fair Pi?" edward exclaimed in tears as his body sagged onto the cold floor of the hospital, and his hands beat the floor.

"Edward is enough" said Mami Edward, crouching and hugging her son. Shortly thereafter Edward wakes up and walks over to Kanaya's bed vault.

"Hey women don't know themselves, do you want to sleep on like this huh?" asked Edward in a disdainful tone.

"Have you lost and given up so cowardly that you succumbed to this device?" edward said in a mocking tone, his gaze cold but his tears were rushing.

"Looly woman, wake you up, don't you want to take revenge on me huh" cried Edward. everyone in the room was shocked to hear Edward's screams as Richard clasped Edward's collar and stared intently at Edward.

"How dare you insult my brother, you bastard" Richard said, then slapped his punch on Edward's face

"You know nothing" cried Edward and struck Richard. Daddy Ded and also Kusuma's son broke up with them.

"Stop enough, stop if you don't stop I'll drag you out" said Daddy Ded.

Edward and Richard stared at each other intently and their eyes were filled with tears, so Edward pushed Richard's body and approached Kanaya's gurney.

"You see hah..! Your brother is for the sake of you daring to beat anyone up to protect you, and you see your son Gerald crying like that you see everyone here mourning you, Wake up Nay, get up, get up, I promise you to make amends for all my mistakes with you, if you're like this how do I make amends for all my mistakes huh" cried Edward. Then Edward's hand shook Kanaya's body.

"Wake up my cheap woman, wake up," cried Edward and hugged Kanaya, crying sobbing.

"Mommy, wake up mam," cried Gerald. while shaking Kanaya's body.

All who saw Gerald and Edward weeping bitterly, they lamented in Kanaya's name.

"Excuse me, sir," said our Sister will prepare the patient to be taken to the Body room," said Sister. Hearing the words of Sister Edward and Gerald let go of her embrace from Kanaya's body and stared intently at the Sister and the doctor before her.

"You dare to take him, you will get the consequences, get out of here, we don't want to see you, he's alive, anyone who comes near will teach me a lesson" Gerald and Edward said.

The doctor and nurse who heard the words of Papi and the child simultaneously and got a sharp gaze from them were shocked to hear it. In their hearts how could they say the same.

"But sir, it's time we took him to the morgue and help the rest of the family help us to take care of the return of the corpse.

"Nobody can take him" Edward and Gerald said. Then turned their bodies to face Kanaya.

"Please calm them down so that we can take care of the bodies of the patients as soon as possible" the doctor told Daddy Ded and others. Hearing the words of Doctor Daddy Ded just looked at the doctor without answering his gaze blank expressionless then the doctor and nurse came out of Kanaya's room.

"You see they're gonna take you, I'm not gonna let them take you" Edward said.

"My son and I will take you away from here" Edward said, bowing his body and holding Kanaya, all shocked to see Edward.

"Son, it's enough not to do that" said Mami Edward as she embraced Edward.

"Take off Kanaya son" said Papi Edward.

Mommy Lingga hugging Gerald.

"Patience son, all has become the destiny of your mother" said Mommy Lingga.

"No Oma, my mother is alive, I know that," Gerald said, hugging her and sobbing.

"Take off Kanaya son, lay it back, on the bed," said Papi Edward.

"No Pi, I will carry him, and carry him," said Edward, looking at Kanaya's face blankly and saying.

"They'll take you Nay, but I won't let it,"

then Edward sat on the gurney holding Kanaya, whoever came near wanted to take Kanaya's body, on the edge, his free-moving foot kicking whoever it was.

Gerald took his arms off his chest and approached his Papa and sat in the bed vault next to Edward.

"Mam, when I met Papi, I hated him a lot, but when we talked in the garden, I felt sorry for him but I always remembered the cry of my mother, so I ignored it, even when Papi tried to contact me, I always turned off the phone, and now can I ask you one request, mam," Gerald said as he stared at Kanaya's closed-eye face, his face pale, pale, there was no blood flow.

"Can you wake up and open your eyes? and give me a Papi? I've found my Papi, but when I find him why did my mother leave?" ask Gerald.

"My mom please wake up, I know when my friends are with their dad, I'm so sad mam, I cry looking at them, I imagine if I'm in their position, how happy I am," gerald said with a smile looking at his mother's face and then cried bitterly.

"Every night I pray that I can be like them mam" he said again.

"I envy those who have complete families" Gerald said, staring at his mother and saying again.

"If it has to be like this, I'll go with my mom" holding her mom's hand.

Soon his eyes were wide open to see his mama and his eyes looked at his mama's moving hands, then his palms clasped Gerald's palms.

"Mamiiiiii," cried Gerald.

"Papii, your hands are moving" exclaimed Gerald

Edward was surprised to see Kanaya's palm and then exclaimed.

"Come to the doctor, quickly,"

All who were there approached Gerald and saw Kanaya's palm holding his son's hand. Richard ran out of the room and called the doctor. Soon the doctor and nurse entered Kanaya's room.

"Lay the Patient" cried the Doctor. Edward laid Kanaya down slowly and very carefully.

Then the doctor examined Kanaya, smiling at her face and lips

"Truly this is the Miracle of God, a miracle we have never met, the power of your love has brought it back" the doctor said, staring at Edward and Gerald.

"Suster reattach the infusion and the monitor screen" said the doctor.

"I can't say anything" said the doctor, staring at everyone in Kanaya's room.

"Patients are stable, and hopefully things will improve" said the doctor, smiling. All who heard the doctor's words breathed with relief.

"Please excuse us first, and I hope you leave the patient, in order to rest" said the doctor.

"Okay doc, thank you very much" said Daddy Ded.

"Together Sir, excuse me" said the doctor.
