Chapter 44. Pendants
Richard and Edward arrive in front of Kanaya's room. Richard gives the parents a box of rice and mineral water, while Edward enters Kanaya's room.
"Daddy and mommy eat" said Richard.
"Master and mistress Kusuma you also eat," said Richard again.
"Thank you son" they said, then they opened the rice box and ate it.
"This gerald Papi bought you food, you eat first yes" said Edward.
"I'm not hungry" said Gerald.

"Lay down your body and rest" said Edward. Gerald spread his body and closed his eyes and finally fell asleep.

"Why haven't you come home yet, son? and why are you still wearing your school clothes?" Kanaya asked slowly, grimacing with the pain in her head.
"Nay, why?" edward looked at Kanaya's face with anxiety.
Shortly after, the doctor and two sisters enter Kanaya's room.
"Good morning sir, madam," said the doctor.
"For Doc," said Edward then took his hand off Kanaya's hand and got up from his chair, then lifted up the sofa that had been bedded by Gerald.
The doctor and nurse examined Kanaya, carefully, and then they breathed a sigh of relief.
"The conditions are good" said the doctor.
"We will do Rontgent and also CT-scan at 10 hours later" said the doctor again.
"I'll excuse you, ma'am," said the doctor.
"Thank you doc" said Edward.
after the doctor died, the nurse asked Edward and Gerald out. Then the Sister cleansed Kanaya's body with a washcloth and also changed her clothes. After Sister left, Gerald and Edward went back in.
"My mother is beautiful" said Gerald as he approached Kanaya and kissed her cheek slowly.
Edward just smiled looking at them unable to do as Gerald did, he was afraid that if Kanaya was angry with him, so just looked at Gerald with envy who was free to kiss Kanaya. Soon, Daddy Ded and Mommy Lingga entered Kanaya's room, and saw Kanaya looking fresh, though her face looked very pale but did not diminish her beauty.
Daddy Ded did the same.
"Mommy can't freely hold you anymore" said Mommy Lingga.
"Daddy is the same, too" said Daddy Ded while pouting.
"Yahhh Opa kayak a child," said Gerald staring at the dream Opanya while smiling amusedly. Hearing Gerald Daddy Ded glare at his eyes, then laugh.
A few minutes later Papi Edward and Mami Edward entered Kanaya's room, in their hands carrying a paper bag and also a rantang carried by Mami Edward, they also approached Kanaya.

"Aren't you eating yet?" gerald asked Edward as he approached Edward.
